chapter 1 -returning to amaku village
Emily a strong beautiful slender lady, who was still living with her mother Mrs Sharon whose husband is dead.
The family of late Charles Emmanuel, lives in a two bedroom flat,they started having financial issues since he died and had to eat from hand to mouth. Unexpectedly Mrs Sharon got a job as a chef in the palace, because she has a great cooking skills that many parents send their children to go and learn from her.
Emily was arranging her bed when her phone rang, she took it and saw the caller 'Davis bf' she happily picked it
"Good morning beauty" greeted Davis
"Good morning handsome, how was your night" replied Emily smiling
"It was great and yours" "Awesome, I missed you"
"I miss you too, Guess what" he pouted "what!" " I'm coming to amaku village tthis morning as we speak". "Really! Oh wow, that's Good news.This calls for celebration"she was saying when a voice interrupted " what calls for celebration, Emily have you won a lottery or what" said Mrs Sharon . " I'll call you back" Emily said and cut the call quickly
"Mummy my boyfriend called and informed me that he is leaving disha village and his has successfully completed his programme..." As she was saying Mrs Sharon started clapping her hands and was laughing. After some moments of laughing she said
"Sometimes I think if they tied your umblical cord with his, (hisses) abeg go and carry that food to the palace. I was informed that there is an emergency meeting and I need to go there immediately" Mrs Sharon "mum please my secret don't let it out, even if they do not talk about it". "I've heard you, and you behave yourself ohh, be nice to the royal family" "okay mum,bye mum" Emily said and left to the palace.after she finished serving the Royal family she wanted to go but a deep voice stopped her, "hey miss,what's your name" she then turned,it was no other person but prince Henry "ehm sorry where you talking to me" she said turning to look if there was another person behind her but there was none
"Yes, my name is Henry, I'm the prince of amaku village,the heir to the throne, the next king" he proudly said "your highness" Emily said and bowed her head down "no,no,no don't now to me I'm not your God" said the prince smiling sheepishly " that's just me showing my respect"
"You don't have to, so can you tell me your name now" he asked "my name is emily,my freinds calls me emilia,but my boyfriend calls me emi" she stated "what a beautiful name, I prefer calling you emi let's be friends" Henry requested " okay, ehm...fr...einds" " your number please" Henry said giving her his phone as she slowly collect it,not wanting to be rude to him despite the fact that her boyfriend warned her not to give any boy her contacts me after typing in her number she left hurriedly. When she reached home she took her bath and dressed up and left to her boyfriend house and sat beside him and started a discussion with him
"So how was your journey" Emily asked "it was good and how was amaku village any gist" "no..." She was saying when her phone rang, the caller ID 'unknown number' she nervously picked it and heard a familiar voice. "Hello" "please who's this" she asked "have you forgotten, prince Henry" " oh prince" "I just called to check up on you" prince said "thanks for checking up on me, prince" Emily said "I want you to stop calling me prince, my name is Henry" he stated "okay prince... sorry Henry" "bye, call you later" "bye" she said and hung the call.
