Chapter 213: The True Purpose – To Destroy Tai Su
Four to Five
There were four Saint Kings on the side of the Human Race and five Saint Kings on the side of the Monsters and Barbarians. The atmosphere at the scene gradually became tense and oppressive.
"Let's go to the Sky Continent to fight, so as not to destroy this secret place," Yan Zun said coldly.
He raised his hand, grabbing You Ji from the Wangchuan River and gently throwing her onto the riverbank.
"With your abilities, you won't be able to destroy this secret place," he added.
"Do you think you're a quasi-emperor? Or even an emperor? How laughable," sneered Yaoguang Saint Lord.
The sneer was laced with disdain.
Yan Zun shot him a cold glance. His temper was fiery, and he could restrain it when facing Tai Su Zi, who was stronger than him. But when it came to Yaoguang Saint Lord, someone weaker than him, his patience had limits.
With a flick of his hand, tens of thousands of purple-gold fireballs were hurled toward the Saint Lord.
Ye Tianhong stepped forward, a cold snort escaping his lips. The triangular tripod atop his head shifted slightly.
Endless chaotic light erupted, shattering all the fireballs in an instant.
"Thank you, Brother Ye. If you hadn't intervened, that guy would've caused me more trouble," the Holy Lord Yaoguang laughed.
Ye Tianhong could only look at him helplessly.
"Holy Lord Yaoguang, please, say less," he replied.
"Don't worry, I know," the Holy Lord Yaoguang responded, slapping his chest, the sound of his black armor clanging sharply.
Then, the seven Saint Kings vanished from the secret space at once and reappeared in the outer reaches of the Sky Continent.
No words were wasted. The battle began immediately.
In the secret place, by the Wangchuan River, Chu Xiu stood on the Three Lives Stone Tablet, gazing up at the sky.
Other demons and barbarians also used their own methods to fight back.
The situation was increasingly dire. If they didn't try to escape, they would surely die if they stayed.
Boom boom—
A group of great saints clashed in battle.
One side pursued, while the other fled.
The difference in numbers between the two sides was overwhelming.
Under the siege of more than twenty human great saints, the demon side began to suffer losses. After a while, eight great saints from the demon side had fallen.
On the other side, the young disciples from the Lesser Saint Realm and the Divine Power Realm also joined the fight.
The sounds of battle shook the very sky.
In the sky, in space, the battle between the Saint Kings was terrifying.
The void shattered like glass.
Stars collapsed, forming a horrifying black hole in space.
Die Zun's massive silver butterfly wings flapped, and clusters of fluorescent light, carrying immense imperial power, resisted the suppression of the Tai Su Divine Tower.
"Tai Suzi, you're much weaker than last time," Die Zun commented, his voice cold as a blue blade mark sliced through space.
The space was cut open like paper.
Die Zun's butterfly wings flapped again, shattering the blade mark. He looked up, meeting the gaze of the peerless woman in front of him—Tai Suzi—who held a blue, transparent straight knife in her right hand and the Tai Su God Tower in her left.
Suddenly, she smiled, her beauty blinding, making all the flowers around them pale in comparison.
"Tai Suzi, do you know why we are here this time?" Die Zun asked with a sly smile.
"Is it because Chu Xiu killed a large number of our demon saints?" Tai Suzi replied, frowning slightly.
"Why?" Die Zun's voice was playful.
"Isn't it because of the Dou character secret?" Tai Suzi questioned, a sharp edge in her tone.
"Haha, one of our goals is indeed the Dou character secret," Die Zun said softly, then swiftly slapped Tai Suzi with a burst of power.
Tai Suzi flashed and vanished instantly.
The space within a thousand miles of her previous position collapsed inward, even the light swallowed by the darkness.
The attack had missed.
Die Zun didn't appear disappointed; instead, he continued to smile.
"We have another purpose. Would you like to hear it?"
"Tell me, then," Tai Suzi responded, her voice cold.
Die Zun laughed. "Why would I need to ask?" he teased, then raised his voice to the sky.
Tai Suzi raised her straight knife and gently swung it.
Blue blade marks, thin as threads, sliced through the air. But she didn't target Die Zun. Instead, she aimed at the Golden Ape Venerable, who had been chasing the Yaoguang Saint Lord.
"Damn you, trying to sneak attack? You won't get away with it," the Golden Ape Venerable cursed, dodging the blow and temporarily abandoning the pursuit of the Yaoguang Saint Lord.
"Haha, monkey, come and chase me!" Die Zun taunted.
"Yaoguang Saint Lord, you shameless coward, don't run away!" the Golden Ape Venerable shouted as the battlefields in various areas of space grew more intense.
Stars continued to shatter one by one, like fireworks blooming in the dark sky.
"Hahaha, do you really think our only goal is to kill Chu Xiu and take the Dou character secret?" Die Zun laughed.
"In fact, our true goal is to destroy your Taisu Holy Land."
"Right now, three Holy Kings have already gone to Taisu. Without the Tai Su Divine Tower, how long do you think your Taisu Holy Land can hold out with just that old woman?"
Die Zun sneered. The action had already begun, and he wasn't afraid of Tai Suzi finding out. In fact, he hoped to use this news to disturb her focus and weaken her combat abilities.
If they could kill Tai Suzi, it would be a massive victory.
Sure enough, when Tai Suzi heard this, her expression shifted slightly.
"So, that's it," she muttered to herself, her thoughts momentarily shaken.
Die Zun noticed the change in her expression and laughed even more.
"No one can save your Taisu Holy Land now."
"Tai Suzi, you must be very anxious, right?" Die Zun taunted.
Tai Suzi turned around, attempting to flee, but was stopped by Die Zun.
"Don't go. We're not finished with our fight yet."
Tai Suzi's beautiful eyes narrowed slightly as she stared at the smile on his face. She appeared anxious on the surface, but in her heart, she was sneering.
Chu Xiu's judgment had indeed been correct.
The demon barbarians had ambitious plans. They sought to destroy Taisu as well.
She doubted they would ever dream that a quasi-emperor was currently in charge of Taisu Holy Land...
It was truly thanks to that little guy. Without him, Taisu would already be in grave danger.
