Synopsis 
He is a baseless existence impersonating as human, living three lives, each time learning to define his identity.

As he stood before the man who had transformed his world, he wondered how fate could be so cruel to them both.

Story Summary:
Yu De, a young man with a lost past who struggled to make ends meet, was transmigrated into a game world where he had to follow every mission assigned by the system. He was told that his fate was destined to die for world progression, with the promise that he would be sent back to his real world after completion.

‘But honestly, who wants to go back to their life of poverty?’ 

Hence, he deviated from the scripted narrative and became entangled with the male lead in search of a way to end his life completely. 

However, after facing death, he found himself back to the beginning of the tutorial. With the system no longer present, he finally gained the freedom to live for himself.

Yu De 余德/ Yohan (player name) Alta (given name)

Description: A poor student who struggled to make ends meet. Unbeknownst to him, a speeding truck hit him fatal and was transmigrated into the 'game' world.

Appearance: Shabby, unkempt young man who worked at the Hot pot restaurant downstairs as a waiter. At other times, he is just a student attending Y University, majoring in Accounting. (He's too busy to care how he looks)

Name: Yu is the surname of the orphanage's director and De is the given name from the word "道德" (morals) He chose Yohan as his username because it's the closest to his name.

Government name: Liu Yu De (刘宇德)

The name originally belonged to a missing child which was later 'found' (replaced with Yu De). He used to live with his 'parents' until they left without returning.

Yohan (player name) Alta (given name)

Description: A young man from a faraway valley in the Empire of Eir, originally a knight, now works for The Guild and acts as an adviser for the Imperial Army. Always refers to the commander as 'Laurent' in his mind and personally has a lot of opinions.

Appearance: First run — a scar at his chin and rough skin (like an army sergeant)

Second run — more prominent youthful appearance and distinguished mannerism (mostly mistaken as a noble)

Overall appearance: Black hair and black eyes to resemble his Asian counterpart. (Default character setting)

Ability: ' Nothingness' (able to fully resist any mental abilities)

Calibre: Reversal of Naught (turn the form of others' calibre into something)

Characteristics: Has a natural understanding on the concepts of the game world, a bit* sarcastic to cope at the absurdity of his situation

Dislikes: Doing things out of obligation.

Description: The second prince of the Empire of Eir who was crowned as the heir to the throne. An all-rounder with expertise in military, politics and general knowledge.

Appearance: Blonde hair, emerald eyes and a perfect body anatomy.

Name: La Eir is his surname (Empire of Eir), His name means a bright and free man.

Calibre: Writing's on the wall (allow bloody written words to alter reality.)

Hobbies: Reading books, researching and self answering

Characteristics: has a fixation on attention, a bit possessive and a great talent in gauging situations.

Description: The right hand man of Commander Laurent Carlos La Eir.

Appearance: Brown hair with Topaz eyes, a sweet young puppy.

Calibre: Shadow manipulation. It naturally commands shadow element monsters and to some extent, is able to control a person's shadow. He can also be absorbed into his shadow and move around as long as the shadow is present. His shadow can also move physically (can be touched), although he couldn't make other's shadows physical.

Characteristics: vows to protect his empire from monsters, crazed for swords, has a strong gratitude towards Yohan

Dislikes: Alcohol (he can't drink lol)
