Rigel's life underwent a massive shift on his sixteenth birth year after an unexpected Awakening of his Einic abilities and he was sent to Tartaros — a towering prison built on an island in the middle of a treacherous ocean.



The Ein are known to be descendants of the Gods blessed with the Odic Ring — a magical core that allows them to wield Od to perform miraculous feats that humans could only dream of.



Although Ein families are exalted nobles in Vanaheim, the Jarls made it law to purge those with Einic bloodlines outside of the three Major Domus and their vassal houses to thrwart any threat of instability.
