Slash!!
Finally, the light in the skull of the third skeleton went out, leaving the young man a moment of peace.
There was only one enemy left, but even though the battle was nearing its end, Atlas remained alert.
The battle between the two creatures had been brutal without technique or splendor.
In fact, the two had simply blown at each other like two stupid brainless animals.
But that was fine because the stony spirit had completed his mission very well, protecting his summoner from that abomination.
After catching his breath, Atlas struck the enemy from behind with his celestial blade, cutting the malice from his body.
With the arrival of his master, the stony spirit arrested his devastating fist and let the battle continue between them.
When the skeleton felt his soul corrode, he immediately changed the target and threw his mighty ax at him.
The chop was fast, but the blade still hit the black shield...
The damage from the daggers was terrifying, but the damage from the ax was even more terrible.
Atlas let his body roll and distance himself from the creature enough to feel safe.
'That damned one is almost dead, but he seems to be much more powerful than the others...'
Atlas quickly consumed one of Uncle Beard's potions, and after reciting the healing technique, Earthly Blessing, he hurled himself back into battle.
The situation was more problematic than he had imagined because that bastard was superior to the other skeletons. Indeed, it was at least at the Advanced Stage of Descendant Chaos Realm, but he didn't get discouraged and faced the enemy, sharpening his raw fighting ability.
Even if the enemy was fearsome, with only one opponent, the battle became much more manageable, and even if he suffered repeated attacks, the shield protected him remarkably.
After a while, they both fell to the ground, but unlike the skeleton, Atlas was still alive and well, even though he was breathing hard.
"Damn... Who knows where that bastard has gone... Surely, he is enjoying liters of wine hidden in the shadows... But, at least this battle helped me achieve the Intermediate Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm... If I keep fighting in this place, I may even reach the next Major Realm."
Atlas wanted a bit of rest, but that little island was indeed a hellish place...
Skrit !! Skrit !! Skrit !! Skrit !!
"Shit !!... did I end up on a fucking grave?"
Two other skeletons awoke, but this battle lasted slightly longer than the first, as fatigue and the Miasma of Death began to exhaust the brave adventurer more and more.
The only positive aspect of all those battles was the rapid advancement in power, which brought the young man, in a short time, step by step closer to his peers.
Of course, the Chaos Energy gained by the creatures dwindled slightly, but it was still enough to send him into ecstasy.
With two more skeletons killed, Atlas lay down to regain some energy, but he knew it probably wasn't over.
"Who knows how many there are still? If this place is a damn cemetery, maybe in a while, hordes of those stinkers' creatures will come out ..."
Atlas took a sip of water from the Flask of the Immortal Camel and kept resting a few steps from his loyal, stony spirit.
He found some peace for a few minutes, but eventually, the enemy returned with even more ferocity.
RUMBLE!
Initially, the noise was similar to before, but as time passed, it became more deafening.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
At one point, the earth began shaking so hard that it was difficult to remain standing.
"I don't like it... those tiny skeletons can't cause all this fuss ... Unless ... Unless it's a fucking horde..."
While he fantasized about what this might be causing, about 100 paces from him, the dunes of bone dust slowly began to fall apart.
In a few moments, dozens of bones came out of the ground, frightening the young man to the point that he instinctively backed away...
"Drunkum! Old drunkard... get me out of this hell! "
The young man was not mad enough to stay in this place, seeing what was happening, and kept backing away while screaming at the top of his lungs...
"Drunkum! Drunkum!"
On the one hand, it was a gruesome sight, but on the other, it was also amazing to see that abomination rise from the underworld.
Before long, dozens of skeletons showed their old bones to the world, but the earth hadn't stopped shaking for even a second.
In fact, the tremor had become even more vital.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
"Damn... what monster is bold enough to claim a new life in this world?"
Crack! BOOM!
Suddenly, as if the earth had been torn apart, two gigantic boulders leaped out and crashed into some skeletons.
Even the stony spirit found himself flying inside those lethal waters due to that oppressive smash.
Skrit!! Skrit!!
The eerie sound mowed the air again, breaking into the adventurer's eardrums with shattering force.
AHH!!!
In addition to the sound, Atlas felt his body oppressed by an incredible force so powerful that he found it difficult to breathe or speak.
"Drun... kum!"
Finally, the phalanxes of the abomination came out of the dust and were as long as a foot...
The ulna and the radius were almost a meter long... and the humerus was even longer...
"Drun... kum!"
Atlas was terrified of that sight.
Fear started corroding his weak mind with brutal images.
Skrit!!
The skull came out shortly after...
That gigantic mass of bones was coming out very slowly, but the two torches in the orbits were already burning like the underworld flames.
The young man was desperate, but at a certain point, a strange noise from the sky awakened him from that nightmare...
BOOM!!
It was as if a giant meteor covered in white light had fallen from the sky.
Bones flew everywhere, and the young man felt that overwhelming force slowly fade.
Gulp! Gulp!
"Hehe ... it was a very compelling show!"
Finally, the old drunkard's voice was heard again, and when Atlas turned his gaze, he saw him a few feet away from him, sitting on the sand, gulping down some good wine.
"Damn ... why did you wait so long?"
