"Ahhh... fresh air finally..."
Atlas came out from underground, and the first thing he did was take a deep breath.
It's been so long since he was surrounded by such a fresh and fragrant atmosphere.
He was still far from home, and it was better to get the girl back before she woke up, so he just savored the moment for a while until he decided to go back, following the same path he had used the previous time.
In an hour, he reached the small lake where he had washed away the filthy blood from the Solifuranus, but he didn't stop this time and instead proceeded toward his destination.
After reaching the Peak Stage of the Descendant Chaos realm, Atlas was much faster and more robust, so he didn't evade the dangerous areas but moved through them like lightning.
Maybe his decision was a bit too arrogant, but time luck was not on his side as a gigantic creature crossed his path as he moved to the forest's edge.
It was taller than him and with a robust body.
Its brown fur was quite ruffled, and its paws and muzzle were covered by a stinky golden substance.
Recognizing who the creature was, Atlas was quite surprised: "It's you... Damn, how did you become so strong?!""
Surprisingly, the Chaos Creature in front of Atlas was the same Rocky-Armored Bear he had met the previous time.
Its power has reached the Advanced Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm, but it wasn't enough to face the new Atlas.
Atlas thought it was the perfect time to take some revenge, yet the creature only barely looked at him and ran away as a lowly thief instead.
"Damn you... Do you think I will let you go without giving you a proper beating?"
The young man chased the creature, and in no time, he was already blocking his path with a wide grin.
Growl!
Seeing the human in front of him, the Rocky-Armored Bear charged forward and, with his massive body, struck against the tiny ant.
Alas, Atlas was not the same weak cultivator as before and blocked its advance.
"Hehehe... I told you... This time, you will receive a good trashing..."
He was arrogant, but the impact between them was still strenuous for a human body. Indeed, his arms were shaking, posed against such a terrible boulder.
The two kept facing each other like two stubborn fellows until...
Growl!
The Bear roared frantically, and a terrible oppressive power slammed Atlas's body to the ground.
"Fuck!!"
A huge pressure took him by surprise, and Atlas found himself eating a load of dirt and weed.
He thought the Bear would have used this opportunity to trample him under his paws, but the creature began to run again for some strange reason, leaving him speechless.
"Why is he acting so strangely... with the help of that gravity attack, it could have injured my body quite a lot... So why is it running away?"
The creature couldn't know that Atlas was much stronger than him, so what could make it act like this?
It took him a while to recover from the residual power left by the creature's technique, and something beyond his imagination happened when he came out.
Zii! Zii! Zii!
From afar, he noticed a vast light blue cloud nearing his location.
"What is that?"
The cloud was still quite far, so it was difficult for him to discern what it was, but strangely enough, the creatures forming the light blue expanse were clearly visible in a few breaths.
"The hell... it's an entire hive of Ice-Winged Melittidure... This doesn't look good..."
Atlas didn't waste time and escaped with even more power than before.
This type of creature was a descendant of the Frosty Bees, a mutated generation with gelid wings that grant them incredible speed and a terrible icy poison on their stinger that has enough power to freeze even stronger opponents at a minor realm higher.
"Why are there so many of them outside of their hive? Fuck... they are too fast... if this keeps going, the only way to survive will be the Nihility Dimension."
Since he gained such a powerful escape tool, there was no reason to not use it.
Still, he could use this dangerous situation to temper his body and test his limits.
So, he kept running at his maximum momentum.
All happened so fast that in no time, Atlas was again side by side with that bastard bear.
Growl!
Noticing the human, the Bear was mad, but he didn't attack and kept his enormous paws moving forward instead.
Strangely, the light blue cloud was still following their direction as if one of them was their original target.
Atlas was alarmed by the horrible sight.
"I didn't do anything to enrage them... so why are they following me?"
Thinking about the reason for their weird behavior, Atlas's eyes fell momentarily on the Bear's muzzle.
"Mhm?! Wait... could it be?"
The strange golden substance on its muzzle made Atlas think of something.
"Fuck... So they are looking for you! Crazy Bear, you stole their Holy Glacial Honey... How could such a foolish creature be still alive?"
Growl!
Some way, the Bear responded to his blatant provocation and roared.
"Stupid creature... Let's see if you can keep roaring like this after their brutal assault!"
Growl! Growl!
Finally realizing the mess, he came into contact. Atlas changed direction, distancing from the creature as far as he could.
Undoubtedly, this was the most logical choice, but the cunning Bear didn't let him do it and followed his track, exerting even more power in his legs.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Each of its steps left a deep crater behind, but this didn't stop the creature even for a bit and instead let him reach its target much faster.
Atlas was surprised by the creature's action but didn't care much since he could still use the Nihility Dimension as a safe plan.
"Hehehe... sure, keep following me, stupid creature..."
So, Atlas's response was a malevolent grin filled with arrogance.
The two kept running for a couple of minutes, yet the group of Ice-Winged Melittidure was much faster than them and ultimately reached their target.
ROAR!!
Surrounded by many enemies, the Bear showed no fear and roared like a mad lion.
Atlas instead looked around calmly as if nothing around him could bother him.
"Mhm... reading about them in a book, surely it's not the same thing as having the real one in front of you..."
Atlas carefully studied the creature around.
A black and blue body tall at least half a meter, and two enchanting but deadly light blue wings on its back.
A disgusting muzzle with two large compound eyes and four long feelers.
And six legs, with only the two on the back covered with a layer of fur.
But the creepiest things of all were the four tiny teeth and the long golden stinger.
Zii! Zii! Zii!
While Atlas was studying his surroundings, the mad creatures were preparing for their onslaught.
Zii! Zii! Zii!
ROAR!!
A battle was about to happen, and clearly, Atlas thought it was the right time to flee.
"Well... little bear, I hope you enjoy the welcome party from your little friends..."
It was clear that Atlas had become much more arrogant with his new powers, but how could he not be complacent after escaping from the claws of a terrifying evil spirit?
"Bye... Hehehe..."
Atlas bubbled the command for the Nihility Dimension and...
