Old Mold's Skills Part 2

There was more than one gem that could fit perfectly with the bracelet, so it took him a while to come up with an answer.

"Let's use something similar to a ruby... maybe a Scarlet Tear from an Underground Volcano... or a Brilliant Heart Plary from the East Mountains..."

Seeing him so unsure about the right choice, old Mold proposed something unexpected: "What about the crystallized horn tip of an Infernal Horned Salamander from the burning swamps of the South. The customer left this material behind exactly for this purpose..."

"What... Who could be so crazy as to leave behind such a treasure? Those creatures are mainly around the Epoch Descendant Ruler Realm. Can we really use such a precious treasure for this artifact? Isn't it a waste?"

"At least you are still lucid and could think of such a thing..."

Hearing his response, Old Mold nodded, gratified by his foresight, and then took out something from his space ring: "... Indeed, it a bit of a waste of resources, yet with a bit of adjustment, it could come up with something unique."

The old dwarf took some time to prepare the table and then continued: "I will take care of the rest from now on. Just look from the side. Don't miss anything from what I'm going to do."

Old Mold activated the Godly Crafter Refiner Technique without further ado and started working like a true expert.

His handling of the forging path was unique and at a level that Atlas could only admire.

Those short fingers moved through the metal with such precision and skill that in no time, the correct parts were pushed toward the outer side, and the main body was cut in two in a single movement.

His way of operating the ancient Technique was superb.

He could activate and deactivate it instantly, handling the refining process perfectly.

Fascinated by the view, Atlas forgot about fatigue and let his mind wander into that beautiful world.

His comprehension advanced by leaps and bounds, and a new realm opened up for the young man, bringing him monstrous advantages.

"Little fellow... Focus!"

Suddenly, Old Mold shouted, bringing back the young man to reality.

"I'll teach you how to handle this superior material..."

Flames more mighty than before popped out from the dwarf's tip fingers.

They were golden in color, just like Atlas, yet there was a tiny violet halo around them.

Those were not normal flames created thanks to Chaos Energy, but a type related to his Divine Chaotical Core of the Fire Element.

'Maybe... I should use the Celestial Scarlet Peach to acquire the Fire Element properties as soon as I get another Celestial Fruit... I must find Falerra in the arid lands of the South.'

His conviction about his next destination was reaffirmed, yet this wasn't the moment to think about something else because the refining process was starting.

"With materials similar to this one, it's essential to clear its shape before laying it to the treasure... you must be brutal but also a bit gentle in this stage..."

Atlas could clearly see some residual burning over the horn's surface.

He wasn't sure what it was, but this demonstrates the validity of Old Mold's words.

"... after that... gave a proper shape to the gem. This step isn't simple. You will fail a lot of times, yet with a bit of practice, you will get the correct result..."

Something strange happened right in front of Atlas's face.

For some unbelievable reason, the gem started to morph under the power of the flames from its initial crude form into a more exquisite one.

That little treasure turned into a stunning flower with crystal petals and a brilliant heart in a few breaths.

"Impossible... How could you change its form so much?"

It was a normal reaction.

After all, Atlas had just witnessed a miracle.

"Hehehe... and this is nothing yet. However, once you reach a deeper level of comprehension with this technique, you will understand its true power."

Old Mold couldn't wait any longer, and with the power still circulating inside the gem and the bracelet, he joined the two treasures into a single object.

"It's almost done... Now, the only thing left is to create the Chaos Runes required by the client. A Storage Spacial Rune of high grade and an Absolute Dome of Fire Rune, a defensive mechanism of the high grade!"

Inscribing Runes was relatively easy for the old dwarf.

Indeed, it took him only a moment to create them.

"Done... Hehehe... not bad. Using your fine base artifact came out a magnificent treasure... an Overlord Artifact. Damn... How did that little girl obtain such a precious horn of an Infernal Horned Salamander? It came from an Eon Redemption Overlord Creature... such a terrifying monster."

Atlas was still shocked by the entire process, yet hearing those words scared him no less.

"An... Eon Redemption Overlord Creature? Who is this monster?"

Still not believing the old man's judgment, Atlas activated his Obsidian Eyes to estimate the artifact, and a silver glow appeared around it, confirming its actual value.

'It's truly an Overlord Artifact... unbelievable... even if I only created its main body. I can't deny I took part in such a glorious feat.'

Atlas felt quite satisfied and a step closer to the long-awaited rest.

Alas, the old dwarf had another idea and didn't let him go so easily: "Mhmmm... Atlas... I'm quite tired. Why don't you bring those treasures to Steve?"

As he had worked for three entire days, he collapsed to the ground like a corpse, leaving the young man no choice but to complete the task in silence.

'Such a shameless man... I'm more tired than him, yet he's sleeping like a fat pig.'

The young man was in a hurry, and since his body was at its limit, he brought all the artifacts to the shop's dedicated area.

It was already midday, so the shop was filled with many people looking for one of the incredible artifacts from this tiny village.

"...Look at this armor... it's particularly flashy, and the metal is finely refined..."

"Arnold... I want these boots. Look at this Chaos Rune's effect... it's incredible..."

"Whoa... it's a Silver Irium Sword... Who could have never imagined that I could find such a treasure in this place?"

Shocked and joyous shouts could be heard everywhere inside the shop.

Some people were even madly moving around, searching for a new wonder to view.

For most of them, this tiny room was like the lair of a greedy dragon full of treasure ready to be snatched. Yet no one dared challenge the ruler of this store because rumors about its perils were widely spread all around.

If it was another time, Atlas would have gladly helped Steve with all these people.

Unfortunately, the current situation restrained him from doing it.

"Hey... Steve! Those are the last orders... where do you want them?"

"One moment... please..." Steve, who was helping one of the customers, turned around immediately, hearing his voice: "Young master Atlas... I'm glad to see you. You came at the right time because one of the clients is waiting outside for one of the artifacts... let me call her."

Atlas wanted to leave the treasure somewhere and then find a place to rest, yet it didn't go as expected again.

"Come on, Steve... I'm quite busy..."

Irritated, Atlas lamented vehemently, but when he saw the middle-aged man come back with another person, he couldn't help but curse the Heaven...

"For god's sake... it's you again... Are you a fucking ghost following me all around the village?"
