In the quiet town of Bukana, Mindanao, Isabela "Isa" Cruz's life is turned upside down when a mysterious infection begins turning people into violent, mindless creatures. After being bitten by an infected man, Isa discovers she reacts differently to the virus, gaining heightened senses and strength.
