The air grew colder and the lingering shadows denser, the ground beneath Trent's feet trembling slightly as the terrain of the Dungeon shifted, realigning its shape and appearance to that of the next level. The blood on the ground turned thicker, resembling coaltar, the walls growing wider and claiming a much bigger space for the Dungeon. The arteries of blood designed on them grew thicker and pulsed with energy.
Trent noticed the blood markings on the ground literally shifted into a new tribal symbol but maintained its eerie red glow.
"Level Two! Dungeon! [Cardinal Across Shadows: Blood Divine]!" Trent heard the voice of the Orc proclaim, confirming her earlier promise that she would indeed appear in another form.
Suddenly, far away, near the throne that had grown larger with more spikes, a wave of blood erupted from the ground and began swirling, performing a ritual to transform into the body of the Boss's new form. The blood encircled the shadowy figure evolving within, spinning in malevolent circles until it dispersed as ribbons, followed by a gush of shadows, and the Boss reformed.
"Ah! The thrill of transformation is undoubtedly satisfying."
The Dungeon seemed to correspond to the new form of the Boss which looked exactly like a Vampire to Trent. She was a vampire now! There was no green, muscular build—she had become a sleek, pale-skinned, voluptuous figure, difficult to hide even with the long black coat she wore. Her face was more beautiful now, painted white with red eyes instead of green, and glossy, pouted lips with fangs sticking out.
"I shall be the first Boss out of her Dungeon with this form or the next. And nothing you can do would stop me," she hissed in a sinister, sexual tone, unlike her earlier hollering as an Orc.
Trent watched her hover above the ground with pure Mana, not Essence, and began to believe this new form of hers would not be joking around. But the fact that she had a next form, put the idea into Trent that he could get to fuck this vampiress if he defeats her. And my God, would it be a win for him if he did so. Her arms were much more slender now and she had a reasonable height for a woman. Watching her take off her coat to reveal her inner suit, Trent's body tingled with arousal despite having just released moments ago.
The suit was a silk corset with a pattern of black and red lace around her stomach, tightened to accentuate her busty, hourglass figure. It had a high collar, no coverings on her white, slender arms and meaty thighs, and she wore laced-up black knee-high heels with flowing black silk behind them.
"You are a really sexy vampire," Trent commended, powering his lightsaber with red, blazing Essence.
"I know right? This is my most alluring form. You wouldn't find the next appetizing. Not that you'll live to see it. Prepare yourself, aspirant. This form will take you to your knees," she proclaimed, raising her hands.
Suddenly, the ground beneath Trent's feet trembled more violently and erupted with hot, boiling blood. Trent was scorched immediately as the fountain sent him hurtling into the air.
The now vampiress boss threw thick blood spikes at him from her position down below. Trent, who had little time of composure, manifested healing which could only be done through Channelling and Manifesting Mana. He also had little time to respond to the spikes of blood zooming towards him, as he was close to the ceiling of the Dungeon. But with this little time he had, Trent was still able to utilize it very well.
He swung his buffed lightsaber, slicing all the blood spikes, while diving downwards with a cloud of Essence soling his feet. He struck a blow at the vampire as he dived down with terrifying speed, but the Boss parried away with ease in a fluid movement.
"[Clan Of Chiropters]!" she yelled, summoning bats from the darkness that crowded around Trent. The bats swarmed him, their wings beating rapidly, creating a rumbling sound and shrieks that echoed throughout the Dungeon. Trent stumbled back as their ferocious wings obscured his vision.
Trent attempted to release an outburst of Essence energy, but he got to realize that the purpose of the bats were to surround the target, thereby evolving a shadowy anti-essence Manifestation that would prevent the target from executing any attack, as long as the attack possessed less channelled Mana or Essence than that the bats were producing.
Trent quickly understood this with his high [Intelligence] and instead of releasing an outburst, he simply encased himself with an Essence shield, protecting himself from the claws of the bats with the crackling barrier of his shield. Using the opportunity, he swung his blazing lightsaber in wide arcs through the shield, slicing through a horde of bats with blazing precision.
The bats burst into a streak of shadows once contact was made with Trent's buffed lightsaber. And with their numbers increasing seemingly, Trent utilized his own natural speed and spun around into a whirlwind, his lightsaber imitating the movement and obliterating the surrounding pestering creatures.
Trent landed on his feet after he had been an inch off the ground while performing the whirlwind. With his vision cleared and the anti-essence Manifestation gone, Trent's eyes searched for the voluptuous figure of the vampire Boss.
A supreme sensation creeped at his spine as he felt an entity with large Mana behind him. Before he had the chance to react, Trent could only take a glimpse of the vampiress lunged at him with her hands outstretched. She placed her hand on his side just as he was spinning with his lightsaber.
"No, you won't escape this one," she said to him in that slowed moment.
"What do you Manifest?" Trent whispered his question.
"[Internal Disruption: Blood Fest]" she said.
Trent felt a sharp, searing pain as if a billion blood spikes had pierced through him, occupying the space of his internal organs. He dashed away to recover, managing to strike the vampiress with his buffed lightsaber, leaving a heavy mark from her neck to torso, with blood oozing out.
He glanced at his wound, noticing it was bleeding heavily. Quickly placing a hand on the injury, he began healing himself with channelled Mana, his expression behind his mask turning bitter. "You'll be the one on your knees!" he yelled, lunging at the vampiress, who was also healing herself.
She noticed his inhuman speed and wrapped herself in darkness, disappearing and reappearing atop a blood pillar. Trent's brows furrowed as he struck through nothing but shadows. 'Teleportation,' he cursed in his mind. 'Something I don't have yet.'
Trent leaped into the air with vigour, aiming at the vampiress, who once again shadowed away desperately, leaving Trent alone on the pillar. With a burst of speed, Trent launched himself from the pillar, diving straight toward the vampire, who was gliding like a shadow cloud in the atmosphere of the Level Two Dungeon.
She sensed his attack coming and the plummeting lightsaber. "Relentless aspirant! I have never seen such!" she exclaimed. She pivoted to the side, dodging the attack, and lashed out with a blood-clawed hand, raking it across Trent's chest.
Trent winced in pain but didn't let it slow him down, nor did he emit a growl of agony. He let himself drop to the ground, rolling over his cape and setting his eyes on the vampire. "[Flash Strike]," he muttered to himself, dashing with fortified speed toward her.
The vampire met him head-on with her full bust, shadows and blood lingering around her hips. Trent jabbed his weapon, feinting to the left to draw her attention. He then spun around quickly and struck from the right with another [Flash Strike] he manifested again. The blazing fluorescent light slashed at her side, and she gave a ghastly gasp.
'Hmm, seems this saber of mine is quite your bane,' Trent thought as he slashed her clavicle, creating a deep wound that gushed blood. He then grabbed her neck, applying firm pressure until he could hear her gullet bones starting to crack, before flinging her body to the ground of her domain.
Trent landed on his feet shortly after and stomped toward the crawling body of the vampire. He knelt over her, rolled her over, and quickly snatched away the blood necklace around her neck.
"Noooooo!" The vampiress wailed in a hiss as Trent destroyed the Mana Forged object and gracefully absorbed the energy that came with it.
He glanced down at the vampiress and her sensual, fair, busty figure, his shadow cast over her. "I believe this is where I have your body?"
