"What the hell was that about?" Brad muttered, his face contorted with anger. With a whistle blow, the first half ended with the score tied at zero-zero. As the players headed for the dressing room, Tony approached Kenny. "You are acting like you have got a secret superpower."
Kenny laughed nervously. "Come on, Tony, it's just a game, I'm just trying to help the team." The second half began with more heat, both teams playing with unmatched intensity and determination.
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause. The Green Foxes team, taken aback by the sudden turn of events, regrouped and intensified their attacks, determined to score.
As the match progressed, Kenny's power of foresight proved to be invaluable as he made one incredible save after another, diving and stretching his body in ways that seemed humanly impossible. The Green Foxes team, frustrated by Kenny's seemingly unbeatable defense, resorted to more aggressive tactics, attempting long-range shots and tricky passes to outwit the Rosewood goalkeeper.
However, Tony and his teammates were not to be outdone. With each successful save by Kenny, the Rosewood team launched counterattacks, with Tony leading the charge, his speed and agility leaving the Green Foxes defenders in his wake. The match turned into a thrilling display of skill and strategy, with both teams giving their all to claim victory.
For every save Kenny made, cheers erupted from the Rosewood crowd, who were already starting to believe that Kenny was truly a good goalkeeper.
Kenny, with his eyes closed, saw the future unfold. He saw a swift pass, the Green Foxes striker Brad, receiving the ball, a fierce shot and the ball sailing straight into his net. His eyes snapped open, a mischievous glint in them. He whispered to Tony, their forward, a lean, agile player with a knack for scoring goals, "Brad will take the shot in the next minute, he'll aim for the top left corner, you're going to be covering that spot."
Tony, initially confused, then grinned. He trusted Kenny, even if he didn't quite understand them.
As the minute approached, Kenny saw it again. The pass, the shot, Brad's determined expression. He signaled to Tony, who was already in position, eyes fixed on the ball. The pass came. Brad, with a powerful swing, launched a shot towards the left corner. Tony, with lightning reflexes, intercepted the ball, his foot connecting perfectly with it, sending it hurtling towards the Green Foxes goal. The crowd held their breath. The ball soared through the air, but missed by an inch.
In the final minutes of the match, with the score tied at zero-zero, the tension reached its peak. The Green Foxes launched a fierce attack, with their star striker sprinting towards the goal, ready to take the winning shot. Kenny, with a determined look in his eyes, focused all his energy on predicting the striker's movements, his power of foresight working overtime.
As the Green Foxes player wound up for the shot, Kenny saw the trajectory of the ball one minute before it happened. In a split second decision, Kenny dove to his right, stretching his body to its limits and deflecting the ball with his fingertips, sending it spinning out of bounds.
The second half was much the same – Kenny saving every shot by using his superpower, and Tony desperately trying to find his rhythm. The game was edging towards a draw, a frustrating outcome for both teams.
