HERD KNOCK LIFE

In the heart of a sprawling modern city with bustling streets, amidst skyscrapers, Kevin Moore found himself at odds in a human society, dealing with life on his own like a human being.

Kevin, a shabby hobo without shoes on his feet, sprawled on the road side next to a busy junction exhaustedly. He had spent two days surviving on an empty stomach and his lips where ashy.

With his left arm relaxed on an old model scrap computer he was moving with, Kevin fed his eyes well on the captivating beautiful things in the human city. He got so amazed by the way people dressed diversely with shoes on their feet.

By this time he was used to a shirt touching his skin. He was okay with clothes on his body.

As a neanderthal, with no relative or friend at that moment to ask help from in a foreign world, his looks, with a thick beard on his face, were doubtlessly alarming. Passers-bys pitied him and dropped cents next to him.

However, Kevin had no idea what money was. Hence stood up and left behind all coins and small notes down on the grounds where he was seated.

Absentmindedly, as he walked on loosen feet due to hunger, he accidentally collided with a vicious man who yelled and pushed him on the ground.

"You don't belong here! You pitiful beggar!"

This wasn't the first time he faces insults. Usually, as he maneuvered the human society, he met several unfriendly people with bad attitude. Nevertheless, he always kept his calm even when it needed him to stand tall in his own defence. Neither did Kevin fight nor did he insult anyone back.

There came a moment when he desperately mentioned his father's name to the pedestrians, ignorantly asking them to tell him where he could find him. But these people had no time to waste on a barefooted shabby hobo like him, fully thought of as a mad man in modern streets.

As time went by, Kevin's stomach began to complain. It made unnecessary hunger noise demanding him to eat. But not a single idea on how to get food as a fresher in a new world, he had.

Babara Yen

On her mother's private plane in the skies, a flight attendant poured her a glass of moet and Babara relaxed next to the airplane window.

In the same plane right opposite, was secretary Jamila in spectacles. She was busy pressing buttons on a laptop.

"Delivered to Franklin Baron!" A small text displayed on the laptop screen.

"Hopefully he sees the message on time", secretary jamila wished, as she exhaled in relief after sending the mail. It seemed so important.

"I don't understand why my mother still does business with Franklin Baron."

"Why?!"

Babara's words caught secretary Jamila's attention. Eagerly wondering why she had to say so, she asked.

"Frank Baron himself is a description of illegal _ he is a very dangerous man if I may say", Babara replied allergically.

"How?"

"From what I overheard my mother saying, how he smuggles and traffics anything as long as it makes him an income, uh uh, I don't like him!" Babara shook her head negatively.

"Come on Babara...! You're now a CEO. With big responsibilities on your shoulders right now, you will need to overlook somethings to achieve a major goal _ just saying."

Standing her grounds, Babara informed secretary Jamila that she's not a character which can pretend. "If my instinct speaks negative about something, am sorry but definitely I'll have to show."

"See, I've never seen Mr. Franklin but my soul doesn't like him," Babara spoke her mind while secretary Jamila attentively listened.

After hearing Babara's serious concerns against Franklin Baron and her mother's choice to deal with him in business, secretary Jamila told her about the beautiful wedding dress her mother Monica Yen wore when she was getting married to her father; that Franklin Baron chose it for her and paid for it as well.

"I think the friendship between your mother and Mr. Franklin is thick," secretary Jamila tried to seal it.

However, still Babara couldn't let go like that. "Uh... to me, it seems Franklin Baron has a leverage against my mother; that's what I think."

"Because," she added, "over the phone, I heard my mother complaining, not once or twice when her shipment was ceased at the customs because of the very man Franklin Baron, but she still gives him business!"

There happened a moment of silence. After a few seconds, secretary Jamila advised Babara to change some rules of doing business if need be where necessary, as the new CEO.

"That reminds me," Babara stated, " you've been to Capricon city for business with my mother several times. How is life there?" Eagerly, she wished to know.

"Oh, wow!" Secretary Jamila hyped blissfully in a description, "such an attractive city with ethereal seven star hotels almost everywhere, customer care at its climax, delicious meals you'll ever taste, oh my goodness to mention but a few. Capricon city definitely shoots your standard Madam Babara."

"Really! I can't wait to adventure with you since it my first time to leave home."

Excitedly, with her head relaxed at the plane seat cushion, Babara Yen imagined how it was going to be when she gets to Capricon city. As a splendid private plane ran in clouds, she couldn't wait to reach.

Land of Ice:

Two vampires bats, a male and a female, who were part of the board members at the sametime, were known for their special hunting skills in the realm. For that matter, both earned themselves a name 'hunter vampires, in honor of their hunting skills which surpassed those of other vampires.

Guided by Jelly Spatters the realm leader, hunter vampires were ready to fly on a journey to the human world, to hunt and kill Monica Yen together with her daughter Babara after secretary Jamila's failure to full fill the assignment.

In front of a big crowd of hundreds of vampires in black outfits watching, Jelly Spatters equipped the hunter vampires with Red Venom Potion in the midst of falling snow on a dimly lit frozen land.

From parade, the two hunter vampires were escorted by the three mysterious women upto a secret point were they met a portal which was to transport them to the human world.

The hunter vampires transform from human form to enormous bats as they spread there wings and flew into the secret portal which appeared to be a very deep dark pit on a snow mountain.

Back inside the castle, within the chembers of Jelly Spatters, his three mysterious mistresses walked in after escorting the hunter vampires.

"Foreseer, it's in great honor to giving us a privilege to see off our great hunters", in one uniform voice, all the three spoke.

Jelly Spatters, busy sipping on blood from a holly communion cup, turned and looked at them with his eyes which were dark as coal. On easy footsteps, his black boots stomped the floor and quietly, he walked upto where they were standing.

In one of his hands was a metallic jar half filled with blood. He poured more blood into a holly communion cup on which he was sipping and served them, one after the other. Happily, the three mysterious mistresses drunk on the same cup as a symbol of solidarity.

After the blood meal, they all bowed down and praised him.

Capricon City:

"Was I wrong to leave my world? Mother, it's turning up more difficult here. I don't think I can continue!" Kevin drowned in a heap of thoughts to nearly regrets.

His body was very weak. This was the third day for him to live on an empty stomach in the streets of Capricon city and he could only move on very slow footsteps. He couldn't walk properly anymore.

In the night, Kevin was stuck on the lonely streets yet again.

Hunger had moved his mind from his fixed course of finding his father. However, one thing he was not letting go nomatter the hard knocks was the scrap old model computer in hands.

"I need to eat, I am surviving," at the back of his mind, Kevin spoke.

He was just catching his breath on sunken eyes like he wanted to take a nap. Kevin was very weak and tired. Without a clear direction to take, he saw a dimly lit alleyway.

Dizzily, Kevin walked towards the alleyway, away from the brightly lit sides of the street to find a place to lay his weak body.

As he got closer, in a distance he saw a human who was busy feeding from a garbage can. Intrigued, Kevin killed two steps backward with a thought to leave while he took a more clear observation.

He noticed the man was actually eating.

Hesitantly, Kevin forced himself to go and meet the man. As he took small steps slowly towards the man, accidentally his foot collided with an empty soda can, which made noise and alerted the absent minded busy man.

Startledly, the man turned his face quickly at Kevin and stood up straight from a garbage can.

"Who are you?" He stopped chewing and asked on a very keen eye.

Kevin kept quiet and stopped moving forward. Since it was only a few metres close to eachother, they stared at each other.

With a brilliant observation, the man realised this was just another hungry scared man who wanted to join him and maybe have a share of what he was eating.

"Don't delay your steps brother, my friend at the restaurant dumped quite enough today!" In a kind voice, the man called Kevin to join.

However, Kevin stayed standing. He moved his eyes from the man to the garbage can where he was getting his food and then back to the man. Abruptly, Kevin's stomach reported his hunger case in such a silent late night environment. The stomach made a very loud hunger cry.

"You don't have to wait any longer young man or else, there will be no other chance."

Even though Kevin had not met any welcoming human in Capricon city, with his sunk eyes, ashy skin and cracked lips due to personal famine, he had no choice except to trust the man's word.

Inside the can was a pizza box which contained pizza slices. The man picked a slice, stretched his arm and gave to Kevin. Hesitantly, in distrust Kevin took small steps and grabbed the pizza piece out of the man's hand.

The aroma was pleasant when he sniffed the pizza.

"It's fresh brother, you can take a bite," said the unknown homeless man.

Slowly Kevin took this human food to his dry cracked mouth and took a tiny bite for a taste. Immediately after the taste, in three qick heavy bites the pizza piece was all in his mouth.

"Easy homie, or else you're going to choke!" the homeless man laughed at Kevin's big appetite.

Kevin placed his object down on the ground and continued to enjoy the pizza. The homeless man noticed how hungry Kevin was and got the whole box out from the garbage.

With a few more pieces left, the homeless man placed the pizza box down where Kevin sat really quick and enjoyed quietly.

"It's obvious you enjoy eating pizzas," the homeless man said.

"You know the chef in that restaurant across the street is my good friend and whenever there's a chance, he fixes something in the garbage for me not to be hungry", talkatively, the homeless man conversed.

"My name is Suxes...."

"The more I liked my name the more I hate it. However, I can't just get rid of it because is my late mother who gave it to me."

"My mother named me Kevin Moore!" As he chomped, he responded willingly and calm.

"Kevin! Oh, that's very nice name. Keep enjoying yourself my brother!" Happily Suxes exclaimed.

"This type of human food is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted", Kevin stated as he chomped the pizza pieces.

"It's cool how you're talking in an alien perspective hahaha...", Suxes joked thinking that Kevin was a fellow human, "of course besides fries and chicken, a pizza is number one among fast foods _ I enjoy it more with extra cheese," Suxes proudly said.

Within minutes, Kevin had began to bond freely with Suxes.
