Lucas had always been a person without hope for his life, ever since he was a child. This only grew after the person he loved most died, and he realized that justice had abandoned him. The specters stole the Primordial Life, the world's magic was gone, and only a few could still use it. After waking up, following a conversation with his friend and wondering if the gods truly exist, he feels an abnormal urge within himself, being one of the last bearers of magic.

After leaving the room, I noticed a great silence between us. She had stopped being that totally energetic girl she was before the coffee. What also caught my attention was how Leonard talked about killing this man. He said to kill him as if it were something common. I understand him; in fact, he has been doing this for a long time. But I believe Ellen must be someone who has never taken a life or even made someone bleed. She probably didn't expect him to be so direct. 


I decided to break the silence we were having, trying to see if my theory was correct. 


"I'm fine. I just didn't expect things to be so fast!" 


She replies while giving a smile and looking at me. Yeah, she's fine. 


"Go to your room to prepare the things you're going to take. I'll get some things from mine and go to Leonard's room to make sure of a few things. I'll knock on your door." 


"Okay. My room is the last one on the right."
