I spent some time reflecting on this while I was down on my knees next to the horse. They were family men, maybe they were forced to do this... Damn, this won't get out of my head.
"Don't worry, Dante. You must have your reasons."
Looking up, I see Ellen smiling at me.
"What are you referring to?"
I say as she approaches the horse and opens a small bag it carried.
"Don't be an idiot. You're blaming yourself for these men's deaths. I can tell by your face."
I stop looking at her and go back to staring at the ground.
"Regardless, help me tie them up."
She lifts me up and hands me a rope to tie them. It was quite long, so it would work.
"Tie up the one you left alive, and I'll tie up mine."
She says as she moves towards the men on the ground.
"Alright."
I head towards the man from before, and there he was. As I get closer, he opens his eyes.
"You again?"
He says, laughing.
