Lucas had always been a person without hope for his life, ever since he was a child. This only grew after the person he loved most died, and he realized that justice had abandoned him. The specters stole the Primordial Life, the world's magic was gone, and only a few could still use it. After waking up, following a conversation with his friend and wondering if the gods truly exist, he feels an abnormal urge within himself, being one of the last bearers of magic.

Primordial Shadows

I've been thinking, what if I had taken a little longer... I managed to reach the mission site, and the first thing I see is this. 


"You weren't going to kill her, were you?" 


I ask the man in front of me. I can feel repugnance emanating from him, even though he hasn't said anything. I feel disgust towards him, and the cuts on his skin only confirm my thoughts. 


"My name is Éde-, I mean, Joui. No need to remember it, you won't be alive to do so." 


The man grins and starts looking at me. His eyes delve deep into my soul as he does this. He grabs the end of the chain he carries and holds it firmly while staring at me. 


The shout came from the depths of his soul. He starts swinging the chain and throws it at me. His attack was extremely fast, but I manage to block it with my sword.
