It was hard to explain the feeling in my chest. I was in an arena with a solid ground, facing a large opponent. Visuke smiled and drew his katana from its sheath.
When I looked again at where Ellen and Leonard were sitting, I noticed another person who wasn’t there before. The king had just arrived and took a seat in front of everyone.
Looking forward again, I didn’t see Visuke, but when I glanced down, he was coming at me at great speed. I managed to dodge his attempt to slash my abdomen.
"You need to keep your focus here, Lucas. Not out there," he said with a calm and serene look.
"I apologize, Visuke," I replied with a smile, drawing my sword from its sheath.
"Let’s do this," I said to him, as I ran towards him.
He stared at me intently, and the closer I got, the stranger I felt. He just stood there, staring, holding his sword without showing any sign of defense.
I shouldn’t worry about that, it’s not my problem.
