Library Problems

Lima's Perspective:

Serenna and I push open the heavy wooden door, stepping outside the room where the meeting took place. The cool air hits us, offering a brief moment of calm.

"It's time to explore the world!"

I declare, flashing a wide grin, my voice filled with excitement and energy.

"Lima..."

Serenna, standing right behind me, sounds hesitant. Her voice is soft, almost as if something's bothering her.

"What’s up, Serenna? You’re not scared, are you?"

I tease her, trying to provoke a reaction. Her silence earlier had felt out of character, and I couldn’t help myself. I enjoyed pulling her leg.

"Of course not, idiot."

She snaps back, breathing deeply, clearly trying to control her irritation.

"Do you think Light will be okay?"

The moment she mentions his name, I feel a smirk forming on my lips. Ah, so that’s what’s got her worried.

"Are you concerned about your little boyfriend? Kids these days—"
