Tail Ruiz Part 8

There was Lima, surrounded by bodies, his own body covered in blood. The scene was frightening; he stayed silent, running his blood-soaked fingers across Rose’s face.

While this happened, the sound of things burning and footsteps coming from somewhere could be heard. However, Lima didn't care. He remained there, seated, unbothered by who might be nearby, whether they wished him good or ill. All he wanted was to disappear, while he held Rose’s body close.

This was the worst day of Lima's life. He had lost the person he loved most in his entire life and, along with her, he had taken the life of one of his best friends—the friend who had spent his entire childhood by his side.

How would he react to all this at once? The answer was simple: he didn’t know.

"Lima?"

He heard a voice and felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Light, who had woken up while Griffin burned and managed to escape before being consumed by the flames as well.

Lima looked back but said nothing.
