Revelations Part 2

Light, showing irritation, grabs my wrist, the one holding him by the shirt.

"No, Lima. It’s foolish for us to go to war completely unarmed against an extremely strong person. There's no way to win without sacrifices, don’t you get it?"

I clench my fist, and while he holds my other arm, I swing my left arm and punch him in the face, making him step back a few paces. He looks at me with complete rage in his eyes. He clenches his fists and starts coming toward me.

"Stop it, both of you!"

Serenna speaks, stepping between us while glaring at Light, her face full of anger. Right now, I feel the urge to hit him for defending the king. He’s so blind that he doesn’t see his leader's true intentions. The king only wants to manipulate us; the fear of death has finally come to his door, and now he’ll do anything to prevent it, even if it’s in vain. He wants to kill everyone to obtain the swords and, with some miracle, avoid his demise.
