Noah's Smooth Sail

It didn't take Jason much time to reach the one hundred stairs before proceeding forward to reach two hundred stairs, which took a little bit of his time. When he got to two hundred stairs, he decided to take a short break, which led Noah and the other competitors to wonder if he had reached his limit and Noah began to lose faith in himself, since he believed Jason was better than him.

Just when he was beginning to give up on himself, Jason who was resting a while ago, began to pick up the pace as he went from two hundred to two hundred and fifty before getting to the three hundred stairs had igniting Noah's hope once again.

"So that's how it is, it's not that he could no longer climb the stairs, but rather he was just taking a break" mutters Noah as he records this strategy in his head.

Before long, Jason had already made it to the four hundred stairs, and it was then that he began to face some challenges as the pressure pressing on him began to grow slowly as time passed, but it was still within the range he could handle as he continued to ascend the stairs with gritted teeth before finally stepping on the fourth hundred and ninety-nine stair.

It was as if a huge rock was placed on his back, making it difficult to take that last step into passing the trial. He called on the whole power his body could mutter, but still, he could not take the last time and sweat was beginning to flow from his face as he struggled to take that last step.

"What's happening, why can't I move my body?" wondered Jason as he tried to move his body with the weight he felt on his back.

"Why can't he move his body? Come on Jason, you are almost there. Just move a little further" said Noah in a low voice as he locked his eyes on Jason, who seemed to have frozen for a long time.

He remained in this position for a long time trying to break free from the force that was weighing him down, but he couldn't and was about to give up, but then again, he thought of throwing everything away after coming this far, and he refused to give up. Letting out a yell as he began to struggle with the force and this time around he seemed to be overdoing it as the veins on his neck and arms were all visible for the world to see.

With gritted teeth, Jason began to struggle to get that last step, and it had gotten to an extent where blood began to spill from his elbow and eyes, but he still didn't give up as he continued to force his body. It took him a long time to finally be able to move his leg from the stairs before moving them slowly while approaching the five hundred stairs.

"Keep going Jason, you are almost there just a little bit more, and you are qualified to take the next trial" cheered Noah from the side who hadn't taken on the trial, as he wasn't worried about himself. As long as Jason made it pass this trial he would be okay.

After struggling for so long with wounds all over his body, Jason finally stepped on the five hundred stairs and the pressure that had been weighing on him suddenly disappeared, leading to his fall.

"I did it" he said while trying to catch his breath as he wiped the blood off his face.

The blurry figure nodded his head in approval before waving his hand as Jason began to disappear from the trial ground with his eyes closed.

"See you soon my friend" said Noah as he watched Jason disappear before his eyes.

After Jason has finally disappeared from the trial ground, the figure suddenly turns to Noah, signaling him to take the stage.

"Well, here goes nothing" Noah muttered as he began to approach the stairs.

Walking up to the stairs, he didn't begin right away. He just stood there as he watched the stairs while preparing himself mentally for the task. After he was done preparing, he decided to ascend the stairs at an amazing speed as he just dashed straight, going from one to five, then to ten within eight seconds, and he didn't stop there as he continued to ascend the stairs and, since the stairs were not proven to be difficult for him to walk on, his momentum suddenly soars into the heavens.

Making it to the two hundred stairs was not a problem for him as he continued to run as fast as he could even when his clothes were soaked in sweat, and he needed to rest. Noah did not take a break and only decided to take a break to catch his breath when he got to the four hundred stairs.

"Jason started finding it difficult to climb the stairs from here if I'm not mistaken" said Noah with a serious look on his face as he began to rest.

After resting for about six minutes, he continued climbing the stairs and, unlike before, the pace at which he climbed the stairs began to decrease. After a long time, he was no longer running but walking slowly until he got to the four hundred and ninety-nine stairs where he could feel the mighty pressure pressing on him.

"Now I know why Jason was having a lot of difficulty stepping on these stairs" said Noah as he tried to move his legs forcefully.

Compared to Jason who could barely move his body, Noah didn't face that much difficulty while trying to step on the top stairs. Maybe it was because he consumed more fruit than Jason did or there was something else in place there.

With a little push, he was finally able to step on the stairs and although it wasn't easy for him, it was still far easier compared to when Jason was undertaking the trial. Just like with Jason, the figure waved his hand and Noah disappeared from the trial ground.
