Foolishness

Vanir cannot create sorcery for themselves using conventional methods.

That's why every vanir receives sorcery from other vanir.

With such logic, it is clearly possible for vanir to give sorcery to humans or elves.

"You are truly extraordinary, my lord.

This is the first time I've heard of a being capable of giving sorcery.

Even if such beings exist, they are only vanir gods in legends."

People nowadays indeed have vanir bloodlines, but the power they possess is limited.

Sorcery is created only by chance.

They do not have the ability to perform Seidr.

"Now ten percent of me is human, so it's not suitable to call me a god."

The technique of creating sorcery requires negative energy, but this technique is not part of negative energy manipulation.

The basis of negative energy manipulation is the desire to control negative energy, but the basis of this technique is making information absorb negative energy.

Seidr is the name of this technique, an absurdity that can only be done by vanir.

The process occurs within the soul.

When completed, the result is emitted in the form of a lump of light.

I inserted the lump of light into Aria's head.

Because the soul is in the head.

"You should have received the sorcery and its information."

"My lord, thank you for your generosity in giving me this extraordinary sorcery even though I have not contributed anything yet."

"You can contribute anytime."

"Masterpiece, a sorcery that can copy other sorceries."

"Can you copy this?"

I pulled out The Old Dream, my sword as well as my sorcery.

"I cannot, my lord."

"So I'm too strong for you to copy my sorcery.

Let's go down to the Mortal Realm, maybe there's something you can copy."

"Mortal Realm?"

Aria was confused by what I said.

"The world is a combination of: Midgard, the realm of Humans; Alfheim, the realm of Elves; and Svartalfheim, the realm of Dwarves."

"…Aren't we in the Mortal Realm…?"

"No, we are now in Heaven."

"…Heaven! No wonder this place is so beautiful…"

Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.

Her shocked expression was very amusing to me.

"By the way, you are now an Angel, even though your appearance is still like an elf.

I changed your race to harmonize the ragnarok bloodline in your body.

The halo behind your head is proof of this."

"Wow…!"

In amazement, her hands touched the halo behind her head.

"I understand. So you are a god."

"Part of me is human. So I'm not a true god.

Never mind, let's go. Bifrost."

*****************

Barony of Myrk.

Consisting of a village and the surrounding forests.

Directly bordering the highest mountain on this continent where the legendary dragon sleeps.

At night, I was in the forest around here with Aria.

"My lord, there's a ghost over there."

Following the direction pointed by Aria, I saw a strange creature there.

The creature had a deer-like body, but its four legs were like human hands.

It had three heads: a deer head flanked by two human heads.

"You're right, it's a ghost."

Not everyone has the blood of ancient races, so not everyone can utilize negative energy. Negative energies usually gather in places hated or feared by people.

After accumulating, the negative energy turns into a ghost.

Because of my father's incompetence in managing his territory, robberies often occurred in this forest.

One could say, this forest is hated by many people.

"That is a special ghost."

Based on its type, ghosts are classified into two:

Ordinary ghosts, which only have physical strength; and special ghosts, which have supernatural skills.

"Copy its skill."

"Is it possible?"

"Of course. Sorcery and ghost skills are basically the same, created based on information and negative energy."

"Then, what should we do with that ghost?

It seems quite strong, maybe even capable of destroying a large city on its own."

"Of course, we defeat it."

If left unchecked, the ghost will destroy nearby villages and cities.

The responsibility will surely fall on my family, because this ghost comes from our territory. The punishment given might be death.

There's no choice but to defeat it now.

Moreover, my parents are not strong enough to defeat a special ghost.

"I understand, my lord. I will risk my life to carry out your command."

"No need to go that far. Besides, it's just a weak ghost."

"You are truly extraordinary, my lord.

A ghost that can make an entire nation tremble in fear is merely a weak creature in your eyes."

"Enough, stop praising me and start fighting."

Aria used an advanced-level technique: transformation.

This technique allows the user to transform negative energy from a spiritual form into another form.

In Aria's case, she used this technique to create a curved sword.

The result of the transformation must continually be supplied with energy, otherwise, it will disappear.

"Wait. The halo behind your head is your weakness as an angel.

If it is destroyed, you will turn back into a blop.

So be careful."

"I understand."

With one step on the ground with her feet, Aria propelled her body as fast as light.

One opening strike with a sudden slash successfully beheaded the three heads of the ghost.

"Wow! I didn't expect a mortal to create such a fine martial technique.

This must be due to the ancient race bloodline within them."

But the fight wasn't over, ghosts are creatures with high regenerative abilities.

"I want to join the fight."

But if I fight with full power, the battle will end quickly.

That's no fun.

Therefore I must limit myself.

"Hmm? Deer antlers."

By the way, the snow has fallen.

It's winter, the time for deer to shed their antlers.

I picked up an antler on the snow.

This reminded me of the foolishness I committed in the past: fighting Surtr using only deer antlers. The result was I almost became roasted vanir.

"But, I love this foolishness."

************

(Aria's Perspective)

Even though my body has shrunk, my strength is better than before.

Sword of Light is the most difficult technique of the Light Sword Style.

This technique allows the user to attack at the speed of light.

After using it, the user's body usually cannot move due to the immense burden.

But, perhaps because I am now an Angel, I feel I can use this technique as much as I want.

"Lord Darkness?"

Just holding the deer antlers, he approached the ghost.

"Could it be he intends to face the special ghost with only deer antlers?"

Maybe those antlers are a powerful artifact.

But… no matter from which angle I look at it, it indeed is a deer antler…

My lord, only you would dare to face a powerful ghost with just deer antlers.

The ghost's skill is to create and control wood.

It can summon wood from the surrounding trees or from the ground.

When Lord Darkness approached it, the ghost created sharp wood spikes to attack him from a distance, as well as wooden blocks to block his path.

But Lord Darkness easily avoided all that.

Sometimes he even destroyed the wood with the deer antlers.

Every move by Lord Darkness was very efficient, and I was amazed by him.

Not a single step back even though the ghost was trying its hardest.

"I will help."

I have copied the ghost's skill.

I created a sharp wooden spike on the left side of the ghost.

Of course, it immediately dodged by jumping to the left.

That was a foolish move.

Its jump only brought it closer to Lord Darkness.

"As planned."

Lord Darkness didn't miss the opportunity.

He immediately split the ghost vertically in two with the deer antlers.

This is not over yet.

There are two ways to defeat a ghost: deplete its negative energy, or inflict enough damage.

I immediately used Sword of Light to split the ghost horizontally.

The damage we inflicted was enough to defeat the ghost.

It turned to dust when defeated.

"Not so difficult, right?"

"You're right, my lord, it's not as difficult as I imagined.

All thanks to the power you have given."

*************

Three years have passed.

I am now thirteen years old.

During this time, I kept recruiting members to join Made In Heaven.

The only ones I recruited were blops.

The reason is twofold:

I can have powerful angels as my subordinates. They will surely be loyal and devoted to me because I have freed them from suffering, so the chance of betrayal is very small.

But after recruiting many blops, I became curious about one fact: all blops are women.

Why? I don't know either.

Although I am the strongest, I am not all-knowing.

This adds to the unsolved mystery.

In my thirteenth year, I received happy news.

My fifteen-year-old sister, Eira Myrk, will attend Elis Royal Academy in the capital.

Finally, I won't be bullied by her anymore.

But, after the farewell party, she suddenly disappeared.

"Could it be she chose to go on an adventure, or maybe she was kidnapped?"
