The next day, Elliot woke up in the morning.

He looked around and everywhere was silent and and a little dim inside.

Elliot rose up from his bed and came down.

He saw that Radley wasn't on his bed.

"That's unusual," said Elliot and started preparing in haste " just hope Radley doesn't take what I said to heart."

Elliot wanted to step out but the bag were the diary was is on his bed.

Elliot wanted to get it but hesitated but had a change of heart and took it.

As he went out from the dormitory, he met Draxy on the way to the dining hall.

"Hey Elliot," Draxy waved.

Elliot waved back weakly.

Draxy and Elliot met at the entrance of the dining hall.

"I wanted to ask, were you the person that went haywire in your tryouts?" asked Draxy.

"Yeah, but I did good, Robin said so," replied Elliot.

Draxy chuckled.

"What?" asked Elliot.

"You remind me of Eddie Brooke,he was in my grade, in the first year we went for tryouts, first he started well but he fell off his board from a great height and the coach that time rejected him," said Draxy.

Elliot frowned a little "so what is your point?".

"The point is that now he is playing for the nationals," said Draxy and looked at him "Robin chose you not because you nailed it in the tryouts actually you did not,because of you have potential so prove his point on the field, there is a news we will tell you during practice, that's the main reason while I called you," Draxy said before he joined his other friends at the fifth year.

Elliot thought about what he said for a minute and entered the hall.

The students were still eating in the dining hall.

He saw Radley talking with Andromeda, first time they talked to each other on their own.

Elliot sat next to Radley without a word.

"Oh hey Elliot,are you still..?" asked Radley.

"No no no, I'm okay now," muttered Elliot.

"What is it that was bugging you?" asked Radley.

" I rather not talk about it, but I'm okay now," said Elliot and took an orange chip and started to eat with sauce.

Andromeda was using her PUI when she gasped and looked closer to the PUI "unbelievable."

"Heard about what happened last night?"asked Andromeda.

"What happened?" asked Radley curious.

"There was an attack in the western part of a city by a mutant," replied Andromeda.

Elliot stopped sipping from his cup and gave her a look "a mutant?"

"Yes,they say that the mutant is a sea mutant that came to shore last night,it was a lost bizarre mutant called the rabtaccel," replied Andromeda.

"That was unexpecting," said Radley concerned.

"I saw it," Elliot blurted out.

They looked at him in disbelief.

"It's true,I saw it from my window," said Elliot earnestly.

"How come we did not notice it?" asked Andromeda.

"It was far away, you couldn't here it ,I was awake," said Elliot.

"Wow how was it like?"asked Radley.

"I don't know, it was just-smoke and roaring," muttered Elliot in thought.

"Does the mutant look like this?"

Andromeda showed them a page in her PUI and they looked closer.

The mutant looked like a giant red eel with a cat face and crab hands.

Elliot made a slight wince.

"No way, this is an example of a real bizarre mutant, but why did it come to our shores?" Radley asked.

Andromeda looked in her PUI "They didn't mention why it did but what they said is that it was blind, that may be probably why it wandered to our shores,it was transported to another place for further observations."

They stopped talking for some seconds.

"The Rabtaccel,probably the last of its species," said Andromeda showing the picture of the mutant from her PUI taking up by a large helicopter.

"Poor thing,now it's gonna be taken captive,who knows what they will do to it?" said Andromeda almost feeling sorry for it.

"You know that mutant took lives right?" said Radley and that feeling wiped from Andromeda "oh,sorry."

"That is to show how bizarre mutations are. The abominations they made in the past," said Radley darkly.

"Also,other news...Hilarious wilder got blind- the same night?," said Andromeda in shock.

"That is terrible," said Radley trying to get a look in her PUI.

"How did that happen?" asked Elliot.

"An entrepreneur, a well known actor and a great donor to this school, that guy you saw in the poster. That was so unfortunate," said Andromeda.

" Two people get blind, the same night," said Radley seeing it absurd.

To Elliot, it seemed unusual.

People started coming out of the dining hall.

"It almost class time," Andromeda hastily closed her PUI and stood up.

"See you later in swordsman club," she said to Radley, and Elliot, whenever I see you."

Andromeda left the table.

"I have to go to class," said Radley and took his book to leave.

Elliot stood seconds after Radley left.

He got out of the dining hall and let his mind got to the time he was at the Oliver tree.

He had the diary in his bag and hoped no one got hold of it.

He mind went to what he read in the book.

'The heart of centuries, able to shape reality', Elliot thought as he reached the first years block.

The only possible reason that he had this visions was the only question he couldn't answer.

Elliot was in the hallway and when he was going, he saw Radley who spotted Elliot .

"Dude chemique class is that way,"

said Radley.

"I know bu-," Elliot was cut off by seeing Apollo talking to the Liberian holding a piece of paper.

Radley turned back and reacted "okay that guy comes out of nowhere."

Elliot squinted his eyes to look at what he was holding,he suspected he was holding a map judging from the old texture on the paper.

"Is he holding a map?" asked Elliot in hushed tones.

"Possibly the map of the school," replied Radley.

"How do you know?" asked Elliot.

"If you look closer, you'll see sector E-24," replied Radley.

Elliot looked at the map and saw the word at the edge of the paper.

"And our sector is in east so... let's go to class," said Radley.

"I will meet you there," said Elliot with his eyes fixed on Apollo.

"Okay?" said Radley slowly and left.

Elliot was watching them as they talked and he was able to hear.

"Make that section forbidden,both staff and students, anyone.

The documents should -" Apollo paused and looked at Elliot who turned away quickly and started walking briskly to his class.

The students were already set and he sat next to Radley.

"What took you so long?"asked Radley.

"Nothing, just arranging my books for periods," said Elliot.

The chemique teacher, Professor Richard came to class, a zombie man came in and he started teaching.

"So how do you feel about being to kelper?" whispered Radley to Elliot.

"I don't know, great I guess," replied Elliot.

They didn't talk again till the end of the lesson and after that, they weren't in the same class till school over.

They went to the dining hall for lunch,they went to their respective clubs.

Elliot went for Flitsbale practice and in it they were given flitsbale.

"Okay,everyone listen up, we have a match with a school in winter, around seventeenth," said Robin and the team was excited about their first match.

Elliot lightened at that news and saw Draxy on a bench giving him a thumbs up.

"Don't get too excited about it just yet, we have to train hard the practice, is gonna be tough so we will appreciate it if you put your entire dedication," said Robin and clapped his hands "okay let's begin."

"As usual we'll divide ourselves, five first years, five old players, one rammer, one keeper and three players, I'll be the bale keeper of the first years but be warned we will not take it easy," said Robin.

Robin was the balekeeper, Mein was rammer, Oliver Crane and Elliot and Lily were players against Ashley,Draxy,Asher,lee and Lenard.

Elliot,Oliver and Lily were in the middle of the field side by side opposite Lee,Asher and Ashley.

The rammers was roaming in field and the bale keeper were near the post that elevated in the air.

"Your going down," said Asher with a thirst for competition.

"Bring it on," said Oliver.

"You will begin at the sound of the whistle," said Robin. The whistle went off by a service bot and a bale shot out of the ground.

Elliot flew with speed towards the bale but Asher snatched it immediately " you snooze you lose." Oliver immediately kicked it out of his hands and took it. Oliver flew to the post and kicked the bale with force but Draxy caught it with ease.

Oliver snapped his fingers in attempt failed.

Draxy smirked and threw the ball to Ashley who caught the ball and dodged Mein's ram.

"Nice try," she said then Oliver ascended to her front.

"Oh,you want this?" asked Ashley pretentiously and threw it towards him but Lee zoomed and took the bale inches before it reached his hands.

Lily looked at Lee with his mouth agape.

"Common guys," encouraged Robin.

Lee was flying and did a spectacular backflip to dodge Mein's ram and landed like it was nothing.

" Why can't I hit any of you?" asked Mein annoyed.

Lee laughed " maybe your not good at it."

Elliot was below them seeing all these things and frowned.

He saw Lily at the other side of the field and flew to her.

"They are whooping us," said Elliot.

"I know we are sitting ducks out here except we are flying and we're people," replied Lily.

 Elliot could sense the panick in her voice.

"I have an idea that might work," said Elliot and came closer to her to whisper to her ear.

"Are you sure?" asked Lily uncertain.

"We have to try," said Elliot.

They were flying to the main tension of the game.

Meanwhile Oliver was with the ball after much struggle and relentlessness.

"Oliver give us the ball," yelled Elliot.

"Um,no I want to score the goal," Oliver hesisted and started flying away.

"Oh c'mon," sighed Elliot,they started to fly after him.

"Oliver listen to your team!" said Robin but saw nobody could hear him so he sighed.

Oliver was flying nearer and nearer to the post, Draxy prepared himself.

" Wait!" yelled Elliot.

Oliver turned back to see him " I'm not gonna let you steal my thunder."

Oliver almost thought he could make it but the face of upcoming triumph faded away as he turned back from Elliot to the post, he was rammed by Lenard.

Oliver fell from a great height.

"Oh no," Lily clasped her hand on her mouth.

Robin slapped his forehead.

Lenard caught the ball and started laughing.

"That's it," Mein vexed and flew towards them.

After unnesessary seconds of laughter "all of you stand know chance against-"Lenard got rammed "oh no!"

The bale landed on Elliot's hands.

Elliot looked at Draxy who smiled "are you ready Eddie Brooke?".

"I'm not Eddie Brooke," replied Elliot.

"Then prove it, prove you're more," said Draxy.

Elliot knew he will not stand a chance but he had to do it anyway.

Elliot kicked the ball to the post and Draxy wanted to catch it but it hit a bar at a precise angle Elliot planned and it bounced off and Lily kicked it the ball to the post and they scored.

"New players win!" they rejoiced said as they came down.

Robin came down with an impressed smile on his face.

"You guys have proved your worths especially you Lily," said Robin.

It turned out Lenard was in one piece because of the anti gravity enhancement of the field he fell as light as a feather.

Oliver was sitting on the grass when Elliot came down to him.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he wanted to touch him but Oliver slapped his hand.

"Leave me alone," he said and stormed out of the stadium as Elliot watched him.

Mein came down to him "yep, classic Oliver."

"For this victory, I'm dismissing practice early keep the hoverboards inside," said Robin and the team rejoiced and left.

Elliot was zealous. Finally, a sport he was good at.

They went inside the interior of the stadium, they had kept their hoverboards in a basket and the first years chatted away but Elliot stayed back until they were gone and used his hoverboard for a while, by then, everyone had left and Elliot flew in the passage. He was flying normally before he accidentally knocked over a paint rack and paint splashed, paint was everywhere.

 Elliot was down the floor shocked and this strange paints dried instantly on the floor.

Just then, Propifus, the groundskeeper came in, what a bad timing.

Poprifus eyes caught the disaster in shock.

"What did you do now?" asked Propifus in disbelief. Elliot wanted to speak but words failed him.

"Okay you can talk that means you are guilty, as punishment you have something to do before dinner, you are such a trouble maker, clean this up without vermoe," Poprifus said firmly.

"What?" Elliot frowned "how I'm i supposed to do that?".

"That's for you to find out," said Poprifus.

"Don't be too harsh, Propifus," said a calm voice from behind Elliot. 

He turned around and saw a humanoid man with long orange hair reaching his jaw, wearing a white tux and shoes,watch,buttons,most and some parts were made of gold.

" it's called a punishment for a-," Propifus protested but got cut off by the man.

"Certainly it wasn't his fault the paint got splattered, be reasonable Habeus this is not possible to eradicate by hand," said the man eloquently.

'So his name is Habeus,huh' Elliot thought.

The man gave him a distinct look and Poprifus was out of words.

"Don't worry about it. That paint will be hard to scrub off without vermoe. You know what, I will hire service bots to clean it up," said the man. 

Propifus hesitated but agreed and left quickly. 

Elliot stood up and took a look at his bag that was already open and the diary was missing, he turned to look around.

The man picked up Oliver Wit's diary from the floor which unknown to Elliot it fell off his bag.

 Elliot looked in horror but the man gave the book back to him "you could have lost this."

The man was obviously Wilder, the person he saw in a flyer holding an orb.

Elliot noticed the gold watch on his wrist had the name 'Wilder' written on it.

 Elliot was stunned. He thought Wilder was blind but behold he was seeing perfectly 'does this world have the technology to cure blindness?' Elliot thought before he snapped out of it "thank you-for bailing me out.

"I saw how you played during your practice. You did good. I am looking forward to seeing you play in winter," he said.

Elliot nodded.

"You are a human right, you're in kelper newly?" asked Wilder.

" Yes I am," replied Elliot.

"You may know who I am right?"

asked Wilder.

"Yes,you are a scientist and an actor," replied Elliot.

Wilder chuckled "that's what people think but I'm much more, you see. I'm a history lover, also have a likeness for old ancient facts and relics, to uncover past's intriguing secrets," Wilder showed him a crystal orb which glinted in the sunset, he put it back in his pocket "I got it from one of my adventures in Paraegypt in the cursed pryamids."

Elliot looked keenly.

"Then I came to this city and the place that piqued my interest was this school, this school is the oldest boarding school in libertia and the first school that accompanied humans, finding historical facts about the school will be so-will be so...great for my scoop," said Wilder with determination but lost breath while talking.

"Okay," Elliot said slowly.

"Do you know a potential place I can start to know about the school history details?" asked Wilder keenly.

"Um,I don't know...the library I guess," suggested Elliot.

Wilder paused and looked outside, the sun was setting.

"Oh, well it's time to go it's almost night, I have a lot of things to at my enterprise. I guess I'll come tomorrow," muttered Wilder and saunterly left.

Elliot looked at him as he left.

Elliot was glad of the bailout, the guy seems to be nice. He was also surprised that Wilder wasn't blind. 

Before dinner, as Elliot was going to the dorm to change, he saw Radley going out of the dormitory with his bag.

"Where are you going?" asked Elliot.

"I am going out to do a check up actually," said Radley.

"Out,for what?" asked Andromeda.

"I can say, I'm going out of the school to come back tomorrow, that's all," said Radley.

"Okay then, bye," said Elliot as he went to the dining hall.

During that time, as they were eating.

Elliot was with Andromeda in a table.

" Does this world have a cure for blindness?" asked Elliot.

" No, why do you ask?" asked Andromeda.

" I saw Wilder today," said Elliot and Andromeda immediately dropped her spoon on the table.

"What Wilder?," she said.

" Hilarius Wilder," replied Elliot.

"You're lying," said Andromeda in disbelief.

" Really, I saw him and he wasn't blind," said Elliot.

" Not blind, that's not possible, the dailyscoop never lies," said Andromeda in disbelief.

" You know I don't know much about him. How did I know that he got the orb from the cursed pyramids?" said Elliot.

Andromeda looked at him " you really saw him?" she asked and Elliot nodded and she sighed.

" Your lucky, it's not like you know how it's like to be with Wilder, some people will be crowding at the school entrance," said Andromeda.

" He is really that famous?" asked Elliot and she nodded.

" I wished I was there to ask him of his scientific achievements," said Andromeda and looked at him.

" Where is he now, did you tell anyone?" asked Andromeda.

" No and no," replied Elliot.

Meanwhile, Miss Donna went to every table to give the news that the archive section is out of bounds for the students but the students didn't care about that.

Apollo Bamford went to the podium to make an announcement, it had been long he addressed the students.

Elliot was with Andromeda as well as other students stopped to listen.

Elliot saw Poprifus standing beside the staff table looking cross but normally that was how his face looked.

Elliot stared unblinkingly making a shrimp he was about to eat miss his mouth.

"Evening all," Apollo cleared his throat before he continued.

"I want to use this story as a medium to say a point,

A year ago,during the summer, I was in the school in my office at night when I saw someone, in the school grounds at night. 

Though I couldn't see the face, I thought it was a person working here so I let it slide and tomorrow morning almost everywhere was ransacked.

Since then, we've noticed unfamiliar movements in the school grounds and this time it's rising to our notice in an alarming rate.

This thing poses as a threat to the school and our well being.

My point is that there are more than three thousand eyes in this school, so if you notice anything suspicious best report to us immediately," He said and that announcement alone sent silence to the hall.

Sounds started emanating from the students murmurs for they didn't notice anything strange.

Apollo left the podium out the hall and the silence faded out.

" That happened? I didn't notice anything so far. What do you think the person wants from this school?"asked Andromeda.

"I don't know," Elliot said between mouthfuls.

"Ew, your a hog Elliot," said Andromeda 

"What the garri grew in my mouth," said Elliot gulping the remains down.

"Duh, that's why it's called a mini-eaten swallow because you eat small-mini," said Andromeda.

"Whatever," said Elliot.

His plan now that Radley was gone was to spend the night in the Oliver tree. 

After dinner, he went to the corner of Cor Centuria to the Oliver tree at night, made sure he was not seen.

 Minutes later, Zyaire was making special drink called zitroneum when he saw a figure coming from the balcony, first he was alert until he found out it was Elliot.

"Oh Elliot, how is life at school?," asked Zyaire.

"Nothing much," Elliot tossed his bag to the chair "just normal strange studies, flitsbale, annoying people."

"You mean Poppy the groundskeeper?" said Zyaire.

Elliot clapped his hands "you read me like a book and how do you know him?"

Zyaire chuckled and flew to him "try this."

Elliot took a sip and looked delightful "what is this?".

"Zitroneum," replied Zyaire.

Elliot looked at the drink "nice."

Elliot strode to the sofa,sat and reclined.

"So how are your powers coming up?" asked Zyaire.

Elliot realized that he had not noticed a hint of powers talk less mastering it "I don't have any yet."

"Hmm,I don't know why you don't have powers yet but the universe has it's reasons,you will get your powers soon enough,when the time comes," assured Zyaire.

"Yeah I know that," said Elliot.

"Now do you want to try my special?" asked Zyaire.

Elliot nodded and Zyaire went with super speed and the next thing Elliot saw a well served octopus meal.

"Um,I think I'll -".

Zyaire pierced a fork on it and enlarged his wings.

"Okay okay okay sheesh," Elliot took a bite and it turned out to be very good and he ate the whole thing as Zyaire regaled him with stories and gists.

"Uh this is way better than school food,how did you learn how to cook?" asked Elliot.

"I have my ways," replied Zyaire boastfully.

Zyaire stood up "I want to get more food supplies, I'll be home before you say approximately six thousand zitroneum."

Zyaire flew away.

Elliot smiled and shook his head, Elliot looked outside to see the night sky.

He was in the balcony enjoying the night breeze and he thought, maybe it was a good idea to come to Cor Centuria after all. He wondered what his parents were like now,he hoped they were okay. .

Suddenly, he saw something a bit far away.

 It was something a figure coming and it passed the bizarre invisible barrier to the forest and it disappeared and in a split second, a very bright light flashed from there which almost blinded Elliot as he fell lucky to have blocked his eyes in time.

"What was that?" asked Elliot as he ran inside to tell Zyaire but saw he wasn't there. 

"Dang it,what should I do?"He thought of what to do.

He thought perhaps he could know what that was about but he lacked the powers. 'A hero must not have powers' he thought to himself but thought about his life and his couraged failed.

"C'mon Elliot Comet you can do this," Elliot said to himself and shook his head violently "fine," as he set out to know what it was with his symbolizer "I'm gonna regret this."

He went outside. He went to a supposed place the figure passed ,the place was dark and sound of nocturnal animals were audible.

He stared at the barrier that after it was thick forest.

He was breathing hard and he summoned courage and took a step in the forest and entered.

Elliot looked around, there didn't seem to be any creature around.

Elliot's panic fell but an abrupt howling scared him and he broke into a run.

He ran to a distance and tripped,he stood his face, covered in dirt and behold he saw a deep man-made steep hole infront of him.

Elliot stood up and looked inside the hole, it was dark inside and he heard howling that made his heart jolt.

He turned back and saw creatures far ahead coming towards him.

Elliot without hesitation jumped inside the hole.

Elliot opened his eyes,he saw himself in an old tunnel though it was dark.

Elliot cast a vermos to make a ball of light. He went around the place as silent as possible and kept track of wherever he went.

He always reacted thinking he saw something but saw nothing, he couldn't believe it,he was in a secret passage tunnel in the beast forest, his heart was racing as he was walking

Elliot reached a place and leaned on a wall in a part of the tunnel for rest and the wall swung open. He fell in and tumbled on a sandy slope. He rubbed sand off his head and reactivated the ball of light and infront of him he saw a rock larger than him with a sword on top glinting in the moonlight.

He went with caution to the rock, with hesitation felt the rock and felt the gold glitter on his finger tips.

He turned back and was amazed at what he saw.

 Before him was the statue from his dreams and constant visions.

Elliot was flabbergasted, He moved closer to it and saw an inscription on the platform under the statue which read 'Tonirlad' and an '8' symbol under it. 

This was the statue of Tonirlad. Elliot was astonished, then he heard footsteps. He turned off his light and hid behind the rock.

 A cloaked figure came to the room, though it's face wasn't seen, it had an abnormally large breathing.

He raised his hands and from the rings it wore, it blasted sparks at the statue but it didn't budge or crack.

The person growled. Elliot was scared to death but he mustered courage to peek.

 The cloaked figure was a person and it brought out a palm and an old leather book appeared. Elliot was shocked. That is the exact Oliver Wit's diary, but how?

The cloaked figure turned around abruptly and Elliot quickly stopped peeking. 

His heart jumped.

 What he could see behind the cloaked figure for a split second was bright red eyes. Elliot heard him climbing and trying to drag the sword out but heard it electrocuting him and he heard a big thud that meant the person fell.

 Elliot held himself in tight then the cloaked figure stopped moving, 

Elliot gulped.

Suddenly, the cloaked figure looked behind the rock but Elliot wasn't there. He narrowly escaped.

Meanwhile, it was midnight and Zyaire had returned a while back and was humming a song when Elliot ran in gasping for breath.

"What happened?" Zyaire asked.

"It's a figure…it's someone…the person is trying to... trying to, I don't know but it was bad," said Elliot worried.

"Chill out chill out,who?" asked Zyaire concerned.

"I don't know, I couldn't make out a face, a cloaked figure with red eyes," Elliot said.

Zyaire though for a while.

"Where did you see it?" Zyaire asked.

"There was a hole, yes a deep hole. It was behind the barrier," Elliot ran to the veranda to look but could not see the steep hole from there so he turned back.

" We need to go to the beast forest," said Elliot in haste.

" No way are you crazy?" asked Zyaire.

" Let's just go so I will show you," said Elliot desperately.

"Look Elliot, maybe it's one of your visions," Zyaire suggested.

"No, it's not. I saw it and it was real, the hole was real," Elliot said with certainty.

"Elliot it's enough," said Zyaire and Elliot stared at him.

"There is no hole, you can't start by claiming something that doesn't exist. I know every inch of the beast forest, I'm an aliqua," said Zyaire.

Elliot looked at him not knowing whether to frown or not.

Zyaire sighed and raised his hands " I am going to tap in your vision, this is every part of the beast forest now, this moment," Zyaire used his illusion to display in Elliot's vision and the view of the beast forest appeared and he showed him every part of the forest but no steep hole was found instead, in that spot was just a sandy ground.

Elliot looked in shock " it was just right there, I saw it I'm ser-"

 "Just sleep, there is school tomorrow," said Zyaire.

Elliot frowned "I knew what I saw."

Elliot passed Zyaire very cross and went to lie in the sofa as Zyaire turned off the light looking at him with concern.

 Elliot was awake lying on the couch. He was certain of what he saw but Zyaire didn't believe him. This evil is slowly uncovering as time went, that meant that if the person needs to be stopped, he had do it on his own.

The next day,around breakfast time, Elliot went back to school making sure he wasn't seen by anyone and went straight to class.
