Sand Ninja

So, the problem is with my eyes?

Kaguya had thought about this before. She remembered that the Byakugan of the original Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was different from that of the Hyuga clan. Her Byakugan had more functions, such as making opponents collapse or die from a distance. She had caused soldiers from the Land of Ancestors to fall and had instantly killed soldiers from the Land of That.

More likely, it was related to the Tenseigan, which had the ability to control others' minds and actions.

But in any case, this discovery gave Kaguya a glimmer of hope that she could escape her current predicament. She definitely didn't want a bunch of lustful beasts following her around. The very thought of it was terrifying and made her skin crawl.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama," Kaguya bowed in gratitude, surprised that the old man had taken the trouble to investigate so much about her condition. "I have one more thing to ask."

"What is it? Speak," the Third Hokage said calmly, taking a puff of his pipe.

"I heard that the Chunin Exams are happening next week," Kaguya said, staring at the Third Hokage. "I want to participate. Is that possible?"

The Third Hokage pondered for a moment and said, "You should know that participating in the Chunin Exams requires a team of three to work together."

"I can do it alone," Kaguya said calmly, as if it were a trivial matter.

"The Chunin Exams test more than individual ability," the Third Hokage said, tapping his pipe. "They also assess teamwork."

"But I really want to participate," Kaguya said earnestly. "I'm not aiming for promotion to Chunin but to hone my skills. Please allow me to participate."

The Third Hokage thought for a while and then said, "Alright, you can participate, but be prepared. This Chunin Exam will include ninjas from other villages, and the competition will be intense."

"Don't worry, I'm confident," Kaguya said with a slight smile.

Finally, she could go home. Kaguya hummed a tune as she made her way back home.

My cute little Hinata, Kaguya thought, almost drooling.

However, upon arriving home, Kaguya was disappointed to find that Hinata had been taken by her teacher, Kurenai, for special training and had not been home for many days. Neji was also gone, making the house feel empty.

"Kaguya Onee-chan."

A young voice called out.

Turning around, she saw a little girl, much younger than Hinata, with long hair and a petite figure. Her face was full of childish innocence—it was Hinata's sister, Hanabi Hyuga.

"Yes, what is it?" Kaguya asked curiously.

"I just wanted to know where sister Hinata went," Hanabi said weakly.

"Oh, Hinata? She went for special training to prepare for the Chunin Exams," Kaguya said, patting Hanabi's little head.

"Oh, thank you, sister Kaguya." Hanabi bowed and ran off.

Kaguya watched Hanabi leave and couldn't shake the feeling that Hanabi was afraid of her. But she couldn't recall doing anything to scare her.

Since there was no one at home, staying there felt pointless. She decided to take a walk down the streets of Konoha. Once she got to the streets, she wasn't sure what to do next.

In the world of Naruto, Kaguya found that she didn't have many friends who treated her as an equal. She mostly spent her time with Hinata. Other people either avoided her because of her appearance or were drawn to her because of it, but none of them felt like true friends.

"Sigh," Kaguya let out a deep sigh.

"Let him go!"

Just then, a shout caught Kaguya's attention. She followed the sound.

Not far ahead, a boy with goggles and a long scarf was being held up by a man in black clothes. Behind the man was a blonde woman wearing white and carrying a large fan on her back.

Kaguya recognized them instantly: it was Kankuro and Temari. They must have arrived early for the Chunin Exams. The boy Kankuro was holding was Konohamaru, Naruto's little follower.

Kankuro looked annoyed as he held Konohamaru by the collar and yelled, "Kid, didn't anyone tell you to watch where you're going?"

"Stop it! Let him go!" Naruto came running from a distance, shouting loudly, with Sakura following closely behind.

"Don't do this, Kankuro," Temari said. "He's just a kid."

Konohamaru kicked at Kankuro, but Kankuro didn't seem to care.

"You little brat, you've got some spunk," Kankuro sneered, tightening his grip. Konohamaru was starting to struggle for breath.

Just then, a kunai flew through the air, aiming for Kankuro's hand. Kankuro stepped back, avoiding the kunai, and Konohamaru fell to the ground.

"Who's there?" Kankuro shouted, turning around.

"Bullying kids isn't very nice," Kaguya said as she stepped around the corner with a smile.

"Who are you?" Kankuro frowned.

"Kaguya!" Naruto shouted excitedly before Kaguya could respond.

"Oh, so you're Kaguya," Temari said with interest. "I've heard you're very beautiful. Too bad you're wearing a mask; I'd love to see your face."

"Sorry, but I can't comply with that request," Kaguya replied with a gentle smile.

"I hear you're pretty strong. Before anyone troublesome shows up, why don't I play with you for a bit?" Kankuro said, setting down the puppet on his back.

Kankuro was angry, especially since Kaguya had rescued Konohamaru from him, making him lose face.

"What? Are you planning to use that?" Temari exclaimed in surprise. "No, you can't do that here."

"Stop, Kankuro." Suddenly, a figure appeared in the tree, with red hair, dark circles under his eyes, and a large gourd on his back.

Everyone except Kaguya was startled. They hadn't sensed his presence at all.
