Taking Photos

Konan did not come with Kaguya. Being new to the village and unfamiliar with the others, she was afraid her presence might affect the atmosphere. Despite Kaguya's earnest invitation, Konan declined, and Kaguya did not press further, so she came alone.

When Kaguya arrived at the barbecue restaurant, the table was almost full, all occupied by beautiful girls. Present were Tenten, Ino, Sakura, Hinata, and a girl with thick glasses whom Kaguya had never met before, likely Shizune.

"Kaguya, over here."

From afar, Tenten was waving her arm, signaling for her.

Kaguya walked over, greeted everyone with a light smile, and said, "Hello everyone."

Sakura and Shizune warmly welcomed her and smiled in return.

As for Ino, she was not as friendly. When she saw Kaguya, she shuddered slightly and unconsciously moved a bit farther away, as the psychological shadow Kaguya had left on her had not yet dissipated.

"Sister, come here," Hinata said with an adorable smile.

"Okay," Kaguya walked gracefully to sit beside Hinata, bending her knees to sit on the cushion.

"Let's order some food first," Tenten said, picking up the menu and flipping through it. Her eyes lit up as she happily shouted, "Beef tongue, beef tongue, my favorite!"

"New set meal, only for women, girls' set meal," Sakura said excitedly. "It's so cheap, really worth it! The word 'bargain' is always irresistible."

"To be honest, I like innards," Shizune said, pushing up her glasses.

"And I should mention, because of Kaguya-chan," Tenten said proudly, "the owner is giving us a 50% discount."

"50% off!"

Even Ino temporarily set aside her discomfort, and everyone looked at Kaguya with shining eyes. Kaguya blinked and suddenly felt like this gathering was a bit like a trap.

"That's wonderful!"

"I'm going to eat a lot today."

"I wonder if we can take leftovers."

Just then, a middle-aged man who appeared to be the owner of the barbecue restaurant walked over, smiling at Kaguya, and said, "Excuse me, are you Kaguya?"

"Yes, I am. What's the matter?" Kaguya asked curiously.

"Nothing much," the middle-aged man smiled. "I am the owner of this restaurant. I wonder if you could take a photo with the restaurant for promotion. It would be even better if you could leave your autograph."

"Ah..."

Seeing Kaguya's confusion, the barbecue restaurant owner added, "As compensation, we will give you a membership card. Whenever you dine at this restaurant, you'll get a 50% discount. You can also bring your friends once a month, and they will enjoy the same discount."

"Wow, that's great!"

"I want one too, what should I do?"

"If you looked as good as her, maybe."

"Forehead, what did you say?"

"Who are you calling a big forehead, Ino pig?"

"Alright," Kaguya had no choice but to stand up and follow the owner outside. Only then did she realize there was another table across from them.

If Kaguya and the girls were having a girls' gathering, then across the way was a boys' gathering. There were Choji, Neji, Shikamaru, Lee, Kiba, and others. They had just arrived, and unlike the girls' fruit juice, their table was full of beer.

When they saw Kaguya, their expressions showed obvious surprise.

Kaguya paid no mind and followed the owner outside. The restaurant's decoration was quite luxurious, being a newly opened place. Above the entrance was a neon signboard with "Yakiniku Q" written on it. It seemed to be the name of the restaurant.

"Is it here?" Kaguya asked, starting to regret her decision. Truly, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

She had always hated taking photos, whether in her original world or in the Naruto world. She was never photogenic and had no idea how to pose. Photos always made her look foolish. Now, with her different appearance in this world, she disliked it even more.

However, since she had already agreed, it would not be good to back out in front of everyone. After all, it was just a photo, what harm could it do?

But when it came time to take the photo, Kaguya's expression was stiff, and her body rigid, like a rusty robot.

"Relax and take a deep breath," the owner said, both amused and helpless.

Kaguya took a deep breath, calmed herself, and said, "I'm ready."

But as soon as the photo was about to be taken, she reverted to a deadpan face, looking as if she was shooting a ghost movie. She might be a stunningly beautiful ghost, though.

Everyone was speechless, not expecting the usually imposing Kaguya to be so sensitive about photos.

As everyone was at a loss, Tenten quietly sneaked up behind Kaguya and made a signal to the photographer, who understood immediately and prepared to take the shot.

Suddenly, Tenten's mischievous fingers darted out from behind Kaguya, reaching under her arms and tickling her sides.

A wave of unbearable ticklishness hit Kaguya, making her burst into laughter. Kaguya had always been extremely ticklish, more so than anything else. She would rather endure pain than be tickled.

In everyone's eyes, it was a completely different scene.

Her silver hair, flowing like mist, her flawless skin, her long, fluttering eyelashes, and her clear, water-like eyes, now curved into crescent moons. Her delicate lips curled into a small smile, and she let out a string of bell-like laughter.

At that moment, the photographer clicked the shutter, capturing the scene on film.

"Perfect, absolutely perfect!" The owner gave Kaguya a thumbs-up, his face full of excitement. "I've decided that whenever you come to my restaurant, everything will be 30% off. No, everything will be free."

The owner's voice snapped everyone out of their daze.

Unbeknownst to Kaguya, a large crowd had gathered at the restaurant's entrance, including Neji, Lee, Shikamaru, and the others from the boys' table. They had witnessed the entire scene and were stunned.

As they snapped out of it, they felt a bit awkward. Neji even coughed a few times to hide his embarrassment.
