Half-Hearted Battle

An immense and unparalleled mental power erupted from the Black Zetsu loli, like a volcanic explosion. This invisible force swept across like a shockwave, destroying everything on the ground—rocks, trees, and even hills—leaving behind a ravaged landscape.

Uchiha Madara was hit first, struck hard by this force. It wasn't a tangible force, yet it possessed a greater destructive power than physical force. Under this mental power, Madara felt a severe headache and couldn't help but clutch his head, barely managing to lift his gaze and stare at the little girl in front of him whom he had never taken seriously. He hadn't expected her to possess such power; had he known, he would have eliminated her first.

This is precisely Black Zetsu's power. As the consciousness of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, she naturally possessed extremely strong mental power, which was also the reason she was able to successfully sneak attack Six Paths Madara later. After being baptized by the chakra of the Dragon Veins, Black Zetsu's mental power had further increased, but she had never had the opportunity to demonstrate this power.

Now, seeing her beloved mother injured to save her, the rage in her heart could no longer be contained, and she used mental attacks.

This type of attack was formless, a power of the mind, and naturally, there was no way to defend against it except by using one's own mental strength to contend.

Kaguya looked at the twin-tailed, golden-haired loli in front of her with surprise, never realizing that the loli possessed such a powerful ability. Although they had been together for a long time, Black Zetsu had never shown her abilities, and the original series did not detail her specific powers.

Uchiha Madara already had thoughts of retreat. If it were only Black Zetsu, he could endure the headache and still try to eliminate her, but now, with Kaguya watching closely, he knew there was no way he could succeed.

Controlling Susanoo, he jumped backward, putting some distance between himself and the source of the mental force, which lessened its impact. Madara raised his arm, and Susanoo mirrored the action, its palm aimed at Kaguya and Black Zetsu.

A sense of crisis flashed through Kaguya's mind. Frowning, she dashed toward Black Zetsu at lightning speed, scooping up the twin-tailed golden-haired loli in her arms.

At that moment, a massive repulsive force erupted, surging toward Kaguya head-on.

"Susanoo: Shinra Tensei!"

The enormous repulsive force swept through like a giant tornado, tearing apart everything in its path. The ground was instantly shattered, plowed into a massive trench, with debris flying and smoke billowing.

Madara did not press the attack but instead retreated. He realized that staying here had lost its meaning, or rather, the combat plan had failed here, and only a temporary retreat could possibly reverse the situation.

Just then, a white flash struck from behind Madara. He paid it no mind; the defense of the full-body Susanoo was formidable, not easily pierced by just anything, so he didn't take the incoming object seriously.

But then, he was shocked to find that this white bone-like object pierced through Susanoo's defense with ease, as if slicing through butter. By the time Madara reacted to defend himself, it was too late; the white bone spear had already pierced through his left arm.

"This little attack is supposed to injure me? Ridiculous," Uchiha Madara scoffed disdainfully. Being in an Edo Tensei body, his regenerative abilities were extremely powerful, and normal attacks had little effect on him.

However, he had miscalculated this time.

"What?"

Suddenly, Madara realized that his left arm was gradually disintegrating, crumbling away like dirt. A strange energy was slowly consuming his body, and in no time, it spread to his shoulder. Without hesitation, Madara gritted his teeth and punched his left shoulder, severing his left arm, which turned to ashes before hitting the ground.

Madara glanced at the distant girl with lingering fear, then quickly turned and left. He realized he had truly underestimated her. He had initially considered the battle as mere child's play and did not take it seriously. It was only now that he realized the girl across from him had never taken him seriously either.

Madara fled swiftly and soon disappeared from sight. Kaguya frowned slightly, snorted coldly, and wanted to chase after him. But a small hand gently tugged at her sleeve. When she turned, she saw the tear-filled face of the twin-tailed, golden-haired loli.

"Mother," Black Zetsu loli said, looking downcast.

For some reason, Kaguya suddenly found it amusing. She gently patted the loli's head and softly said, "It's nothing, don't worry about it, and I'm not really hurt." As she spoke, Kaguya extended her arm, showing the smooth, unblemished skin without a trace of injury.

Since absorbing the Dragon Veins chakra, Kaguya's bloodline had awakened further, greatly enhancing her regenerative abilities. Though not quite on par with the Hundred Healings Technique, it was nonetheless impressive.

Seeing that Kaguya indeed seemed unharmed, Black Zetsu loli was relieved, though still holding her hand shyly.

At that moment, a strange moaning sound abruptly broke the silence, intermittently resembling an animal's whimpering.

Turning her head, Kaguya noticed that at some point, the cat-eared loli bound on the bed had awoken and was writhing incessantly, emitting muffled cries for help. However, the ropes binding her were artistically intricate, tying her up like a dumpling.

Black Zetsu loli frowned, walked over expressionlessly, and showed her pale fist to the cat-eared loli. The cat-eared loli immediately stopped whimpering, tears welling in her moist eyes.

Kaguya watched with a cold sweat, wondering just how much Black Zetsu loli disliked the cat-eared loli.
