Are You Just Playing With Me?

The black-haired girl's swordsmanship was extremely fierce, sweeping and decisive like a thunderbolt. Her swings were swift and blinding, making it difficult for the eye to follow. It seemed her swordsmanship had been honed between life and death, executed cleanly and without hesitation, aiming for a single, lethal strike.

If an ordinary person faced her, they likely wouldn't last more than a few moves before being decapitated. Unfortunately for her, she was facing Kaguya.

Kaguya had been through countless battles since childhood, growing up amidst slaughter. The number of people she had killed was enough to cover the ground with corpses and rivers of blood. She was the true asura.

Moreover, those who had fought Kaguya were not ordinary people. Most were exceptionally powerful, capable of dominating their own domains, such as the Tsuchikage, Raikage, or even Uchiha Madara.

In comparison, the black-haired girl was still too immature, like a minor witch before a grand one. After all, she was still just a little girl.

Her fierce strike, accompanied by the sound of tearing through the air, slashed toward Kaguya's neck. Right from the start, she aimed to kill Kaguya.

Seeing Kaguya about to be decapitated, in this critical moment, Kaguya's lips curled into a smile.

For some reason, seeing Kaguya smile, the black-haired girl felt a bad premonition, a feeling she had developed after countless life-and-death experiences.

With a clang, a katana blocked the black-haired girl's fatal strike, preventing it from advancing even an inch.

"What?" the black-haired girl was shocked. She hadn't even noticed how the sword appeared in Kaguya's hand, as if it had appeared in the blink of an eye before her.

"No one ever told you that you shouldn't be distracted in battle?" Kaguya chuckled, swinging her arm. The katana in her hand became a flash of lightning.

"So fast."

The black-haired girl's pupils contracted, startled. She tried to turn and parry with her long sword, but it was too late.

Her soft, smooth abdomen took a heavy blow. Under the immense force, it caved in instantly, sending a surge of intense pain through her body.

The black-haired girl's eyes widened, her mouth opened, and saliva dribbled from her lips. Her body flew backward like, rolling several times before coming to a stop.

"Is that all the strength you have?" Kaguya taunted, twirling the katana in her hand.

The long katana seemed to have a life of its own, spinning freely under her control.

A trace of anger flashed in the black-haired girl's black and white eyes. She bit her lip and struggled to her feet, using her long sword for support. Despite her anger, she felt a chill in her heart.

The silver-haired girl had only used the hilt. If she had used the blade, she would already be dead.

She could feel that the silver-haired girl in front of her was very strong.

But she would not give up.

Gripping her long sword, a murderous aura emerged from her, shrouded in a faint black mist, exuding an eerie vibe.

The black-haired girl stomped the ground, her body transforming into a stream of light, appearing before Kaguya in an instant. She swung her arm, slashing toward Kaguya.

"Die!"

As the black-haired girl charged with her sword, Kaguya stepped forward, lowering her body at lightning speed, slipping past her. At the same time, the hilt of Kaguya's sword struck toward her abdomen like a flash of lightning.

"Seems like you haven't learned your lesson yet."

Before Kaguya finished speaking, she paused slightly, seemingly realizing something. She stomped the ground and leaned back, narrowly dodging the black-haired girl's long sword that sliced through the air in front of her.

It turned out that the black-haired girl had flipped her hand midway, accelerating the sword's speed to slash at Kaguya's neck. The shortness of the hilt meant that Kaguya would be struck before her attack landed, resulting in a cut throat.

Seeing Kaguya's opening, the black-haired girl seized the opportunity, relentlessly pursuing. Her long sword continued to slash, raining blows down like a fierce storm, clashing with Kaguya's katana and sparking fiery clashes.

Despite being at a disadvantage, Kaguya showed no signs of distress or desperation. Instead, she appeared relaxed, stepping nimbly as if strolling leisurely. Her grass-cutting sword danced effortlessly in her hand, forming an impenetrable defense against the onslaught.

Realizing her attacks couldn't break Kaguya's defense, the black-haired girl grew agitated. Her pretty face was slick with sweat as she panted slightly, the intense exertion leaving her feeling out of her depth.

Her strength was not entirely her own; to a large extent, she relied on drugs. The fierce battle had exhausted her stamina, and the drugs' effects were waning.

Looks like she would have to use that move. Pressing her lips together, the black-haired girl suddenly halted.

"What's the matter? Are you surrendering?" Kaguya also stopped, holding her sword in reverse, and chuckled.

The black-haired girl ignored Kaguya's taunts, gripping her long sword tightly and raising it overhead. A black sphere appeared at the sword's tip, growing larger, emitting countless black lightning bolts. An ominous aura permeated the air.

A red light flashed in the black-haired girl's eyes as she smiled bloodthirstily and whispered, "You're strong, but with Yatsufusa—"

A dull thud interrupted her.

The black-haired girl's eyes widened, her pupils shrinking. She stared in disbelief at the dainty fist embedded in her abdomen. A mix of blood and saliva spurted from her mouth as a wave of intense pain coursed through her abdomen.

"So fast," the black-haired girl gasped through the pain.

Like a cannonball, the black-haired girl was hurled back, crashing through five or six trees before colliding with a massive boulder.

The shattered rock fragments flew everywhere, kicking up clouds of dust.

Was she just playing with me the whole time?

This was the black-haired girl's last thought before losing consciousness.
