Meeting the General Again

The massacre was about to begin.

Like a tidal wave, the soldiers of the northern tribes charged forward, brandishing their spears and swords as they sprinted toward the silver-haired girl in the distance. Their blood-red eyes shone with lustful excitement.

Their eagerness stemmed from a promise made by their deputy leader: whoever caught this woman first would have her all to himself. The thought of holding this beautiful silver-haired girl and relishing her softness and cries made them feel as if a cat were scratching at their hearts.

However, none of them considered whether their leader would truly hand over such a beautiful woman to them.

Suddenly, their vision blurred, and the silver-haired girl who had been far away was now right in front of them. They were close enough to clearly see the glint of cold light in her eyes.

Shocked, they quickly swung their swords, but before they could attack, a flash of cold light gleamed like the pure light of a cold moon.

Blood sprayed everywhere.

Countless severed limbs flew into the air amidst the bloody mist before crashing heavily to the ground, painting the earth crimson with fresh blood.

Screams of pain erupted one after another but were abruptly silenced as another flash of cold light swept through, ending their cries. Large heads followed suit, tumbling to the ground.

Amidst the throng, the silver-haired girl moved like a graceful swan, agile and swift. Her clothes fluttered as blood splattered and flesh scattered. Before her, no one could withstand a single blow.

"Useless trash, let me handle this!"

At that moment, a thunderous voice boomed from afar.

A towering man, over 2.3 meters tall with bulging muscles and a tiger-like build, charged out of the crowd. Wielding a massive axe, he barreled forward, knocking aside those in his path like leaves.

"Stupid girl, others may fear you, but I—"

Splurt

Before he could finish, crimson blood gushed from his neck like a fountain, spraying into the air as a cloud of blood mist. His ferocious head flew skyward in the blood spray, and his massive body crashed to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

"What an idiot," Kaguya sneered disdainfully. She had never seen someone so foolish, like an undeveloped gorilla. She even doubted if he had the intelligence of an ape. But since he sought death, she would graciously oblige.

"The... the squad leader was killed by her!"

A northern tribe soldier stared at the headless body of the tower-like man, stumbling back a few steps before collapsing to the ground in terror. His voice trembled with fear.

To Kaguya, the man she had just slain was a nobody, but in the northern tribe army, he was a renowned leader with impressive battle achievements. He had once infiltrated an imperial military camp and killed over twenty imperial squad leaders, earning the title "Northern Tiger."

Yet, this "Northern Tiger" squad leader couldn't withstand a single blow from the silver-haired girl and was instantly killed.

"Don't come any closer!" The northern tribe soldier's eyes filled with fear as he shouted, his voice trembling. He frantically kicked at the ground, trying to retreat.

The silver-haired girl approached him, her face as cold as frost. She raised her ivory arm, and with a swift swing of her long sword, a dazzling flash of cold light sliced through the air.

Half of the northern tribe soldier's body flew into the air, blood and innards scattering across the ground.

The remaining soldiers, witnessing this, scattered in terror, fleeing in all directions with panic-stricken faces, devoid of their previous arrogance. They fled like dogs with their tails between their legs.

But Kaguya had no intention of showing mercy. She lightly tapped her foot, her body turning into a streak of light as she pursued them. Her long sword was like a reaper's scythe, mercilessly harvesting their lives.

Screams and wails echoed incessantly, the once-brutal and tyrannical soldiers now cried for mercy, blood flowing like a river. They had been accustomed to treating others as prey, but now they were the hunted, a situation filled with irony.

"Run for your lives!"

The northern tribe soldiers fled in disarray, the screams from behind spurring them to run faster, wishing they could grow two more legs.

At that moment, a woman in a military uniform, wearing a distinctive cap, emerged from the forest ahead. She was extraordinarily beautiful, with a figure that was curvy and alluring, especially her well-rounded chest, exuding a captivating charm.

"Get out of the way!"

But the northern tribe soldiers, terrified out of their wits, had no other thoughts now. Women were the last thing on their minds—they just wanted to escape and avoid the silver-haired girl, swearing never to return to this damned imperial land.

In their panic, they didn't notice the woman before them had a playful smile on her lips, her eyes glinting with sharp coldness.

A beam of intense cold light erupted from the beautiful woman's hand, her sword aura roaring like a celestial river, engulfing the fleeing northern tribe soldiers.

Blood sprayed, flesh flew.

The dazzling sword aura rained down like a storm, enveloping the soldiers. When the light faded, the soldiers were gone, replaced by scattered limbs and crimson stains on the ground.

"A bunch of ants, making such a fuss. What fools," the striking woman smirked, sliding her sword back into its sheath.

At that moment, the sound of light footsteps approached, echoing in the silent forest like raindrops rippling a lake.

Soon, a stunning silver-haired girl emerged from the woods, her steps light and graceful. She walked over to the beautiful woman, her face as lovely as a flower, smiling as she spoke, "Long time no see, General Esdeath."
