The Villain Dies from Talking Too Much

The silver-haired girl in front of him had hair that flowed like mist or a waterfall, swaying in the wind. Her flawless skin was as smooth as silk, her long eyelashes fluttered slightly, and her clear eyes were like still water. Below her delicately upturned nose, her lips were pink and rosy. Beneath her slender neck, her chest was as smooth as white jade, partially concealed yet tantalizing, like a bud about to bloom.

Prince Seika's eyes lit up, as if drawn by a magnet, unable to look away until the beauty in front of him furrowed her brows slightly, bringing him back to reality.

"Excuse me, are you the Princess?" Seika cleared his throat, stood straight, and smiled slightly.

"Do all of you northern tribes love to chatter so much?" Kaguya glanced at him, guessing that this prince was the one beaten like a dog by Esdeath.

In the original story, this character was depicted as quite formidable, not only powerful but also possessing considerable military acumen. However, he was just a high-level extra, easily defeated by Esdeath, losing his direction entirely. Eventually, his pride and character became twisted, leading him to be manipulated like a dog until Esdeath finally kicked him to death.

His 400,000 soldiers were also buried alive by Esdeath, making him a rather tragic character.

"For that, I apologize," Seika said with a slight smile, holding his spear. "However, Princess, your defeat seems inevitable. To prevent further harm on both sides, I suggest you surrender. Rest assured, I will not mistreat your soldiers, and as for you, Princess, I will take good care of you."

Before he finished speaking, a flash of cold light shot toward his face like lightning.

Seika was startled and quickly swung his spear. With a crisp "clang," a small object was deflected into the air, causing Seika to retreat a few steps before stopping.

Looking down, he saw that the object was a pink hairpin. When he raised his head to look at Kaguya, his gaze had changed.

Such a small hairpin, yet in her hands, it held such force. It seemed that her strength was not solely reliant on her Imperial Arm, but her own power was also formidable. With this realization, Seika's expression grew serious.

Until now, he had assumed that the meteor technique Kaguya used was some kind of Imperial Arm and was unaware that this was Kaguya's own ability.

"Villains always die because they talk too much, and you seem no different," Kaguya said, wrinkling her nose with disdain. "Since you've come to my territory, you should stay."

With those words, Kaguya's toe lightly tapped the ground, causing a ripple to appear at her feet. Her body shot forward like an arrow from a bow, and in the blink of an eye, she was in front of Seika. With a flick of her slender hand, she drew a sword as clear as autumn water, slashing fiercely at him.

Seika had been on guard since Kaguya began speaking, but her speed exceeded his expectations. His pupils contracted as he twisted his arm, and his spear instantly thrust forward.

With a "clang," the sword and spear collided, sparks flying.

Seika was surprised. The silver-haired girl before him appeared delicate, yet he didn't expect her to possess such strength, equal to his own. The impact left his hand slightly numb.

Kaguya retracted her sword, turned on her heel, her slender body spinning gracefully like a swan or a dragon in flight. Her sword slashed upward from the lower left, attacking Seika again.

Having learned his lesson, Seika cast aside any arrogance and became serious. His spear trembled slightly, moving like a serpent as he unleashed a flurry of shadows, stabbing straight at her.

"Clang, clang, clang."

The sword and spear clashed fiercely, sending sparks flying. Kaguya and Seika became like two phantoms locked in a fierce battle, sometimes separating and sometimes converging, appearing evenly matched, neither able to gain the upper hand.

But only Seika knew that the silver-haired girl before him was far stronger. Though it appeared even, he was already at a disadvantage. Despite exerting all his strength, he had no means to overpower her.

It felt as if his every move had been seen through. Whenever he attacked, her sword would intercept him at a precise angle, disrupting his rhythm, forcing him to switch to defense mid-strike. This feeling of being neither here nor there almost made him spit blood. He felt like a marionette, led around by her.

He did not realize that under Kaguya's ocular technique, his moves and tactics were utterly transparent, leaving him no place to hide.

Finally, with a shout, Seika unleashed a powerful force through his spear, creating a massive gust that forced Kaguya back. He knew he couldn't continue like this, or defeat was certain.

"I admit you are a formidable opponent," Seika said, gripping his spear tightly, staring intently at the silver-haired girl before him. "But with my next move, I will not hold back. If you surrender now, it might still be in time."

"Villains die from too much talking; how can you not understand this principle?" Kaguya shook her head, her lovely face showing a look of exasperation.

Seika's face stiffened, but he said no more. He closed his eyes slowly, gripping his spear tightly. Suddenly, a massive aura surged from his body like a tidal wave, the force sweeping out like a hurricane, sending the distant tribesmen stumbling. For a moment, it seemed the earth and sky were in chaos, with flying sand and stones everywhere.

Suddenly, Seika's eyes snapped open, a glint of determination flashing within. With a shout, he stomped the ground, causing it to collapse, pulverizing the rocks beneath him. Using this power, Seika shot toward Kaguya like a black lightning bolt, with speed unmatched.

Simultaneously, the space around Seika fluctuated and warped, like ripples spreading across a pond. In the center of these ripples, over twenty fist-sized black holes appeared out of thin air.

As he reached Kaguya, Seika's eyes narrowed, and he raised his arm, thrusting his spear forward.

In that instant, countless spears shot out from the black holes, glittering with a cold light, joining with Seika's spear in a lightning-fast assault on Kaguya.
