Twin Lotus Flowers

A silver-haired, stunningly beautiful young girl was darting through the forest, her lustrous hair swaying gently in the breeze, exuding an enchanting aura.

Finally, she arrived in front of a villa and muttered to herself, "So, it's here?"

Earlier, Kaguya had already sensed that Sakura Tohsaka was not with Zouken Matou. She couldn't detect Sakura's presence at all. Initially, she thought that Zouken might have used some method to block her detection, but that didn't seem to be the case. Afterward, she noticed that Sakura's aura had reappeared in a different location.

The villa before her was not as luxurious as the Tohsaka or Matou estates. Instead, it was simple and elegant, without excessive decoration. Although the villa covered a large area, it gave off a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

Kaguya furrowed her delicate brows and walked inside. The interior decor was similar to the exterior—modest and refined. The smooth floors, oil paintings on the walls, and the crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling created a natural and comfortable ambiance, though not overly lavish.

Suddenly, Kaguya seemed to sense something. Her finely-tuned ears twitched slightly as she turned toward a nearby room. She opened the door and found it to be a bedroom. The room was warm and cozy, decorated in soft pink tones, with a desk carved from pearwood, an ivory chair, and a wardrobe adorned with cartoon stickers. It radiated a strong feminine charm. In the center of the room was a large pink bed covered in soft goose-down bedding, with gauzy curtains gently swaying in the breeze from the window.

On the bed lay a beautiful young girl, her delicate face framed by soft features and pale, smooth skin—none other than Sakura Tohsaka.

Kaguya walked up to her and gently stroked her cheek. Sakura seemed to still be fast asleep, breathing softly. Kaguya carefully examined her body and, after confirming that Sakura hadn't been harmed, finally felt a sense of relief.

But who could have done this? Who would bring her here? And for what purpose?

Kaguya had no answers. She figured she'd have to wait until Sakura woke up to learn more.

At that moment, perhaps disturbed by the presence, Sakura's long eyelashes fluttered. She slowly opened her drowsy eyes and sat up, still half-asleep, rubbing her eyes and yawning softly. When she saw Kaguya, she blinked in surprise and said, "Onee-chan?"

"Mhm," Kaguya smiled, gently patting Sakura's head. "How are you feeling? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

"My body?" Sakura asked curiously. "No, I feel fine. Onee-chan, what's going on?"

"Do you remember how you got here?" Kaguya asked softly.

"Here?" Sakura paused, looking around the room in confusion. "How did I end up here?"

Kaguya was taken aback. "You don't remember how you came to this place?"

"No," Sakura replied hurriedly. "I don't remember coming here at all. I just remember..."

"Do you remember what happened before that?" Kaguya gently rubbed her back, comforting her. "Don't rush, take your time. It's okay."

Sakura furrowed her brows in concentration, tapping her chin with her finger in a cute, absent-minded manner.

After a while, Sakura sighed in frustration and said dejectedly, "I'm sorry, Onee-chan. I can't remember."

"It's okay," Kaguya smiled warmly and reassured her. "Don't worry. When you remember, just let me know."

"Okay." Sakura nodded slightly, gripping Kaguya's hand tightly. She looked a bit uneasy—understandable, considering the strange circumstances she found herself in. After all, anyone in her position, especially a little girl, would feel frightened.

Kaguya, too, felt more confused. The situation seemed shrouded in a fog of mystery, with no clear clues to follow.

Sakura tugged on Kaguya's hand, blinking her large, pretty eyes as she timidly asked, "Onee-chan, can we go home?"

It was obvious that this ordeal had frightened her, making the little girl feel quite scared.

"Sigh," Kaguya smiled warmly and stroked Sakura's head, saying, "Yes, let's go home. Your Onee-chan is waiting for you."

Originally, Kaguya had intended to investigate the villa to look for any clues left behind by its owner, but to her disappointment, whoever was responsible had taken great care to cover their tracks. No fingerprints were left on any furniture or surfaces.

Nevertheless, Kaguya decided not to continue her search. Investigating further would likely yield no valuable clues and would only waste time—time she didn't have to spare. Besides, whoever had done this clearly had a purpose, and Kaguya figured that as long as she remained vigilant, the culprit would reveal themselves eventually.

As Kaguya and Sakura neared their home, a small figure suddenly rushed toward them, leaping into Sakura's arms and nearly knocking her over. It was none other than her older sister, Rin Tohsaka.

"You're finally back! I'm so glad you're okay!" Rin wiped away her tears as she clung tightly to her sister.

"Mhm." Sakura nodded softly, feeling the warmth of her sister's concern. She instinctively held onto Rin's hand even tighter.

The two young girls embraced tightly, their delicate faces pressed together like twin lotuses, a truly beautiful sight.

But Kaguya wasn't thinking about their reunion. Her thoughts were on something else entirely—the fact that this place was no longer safe. Someone had clearly targeted them, and staying here would undoubtedly put them in danger.

While Kaguya was lost in thought, Rin ran over and hugged Kaguya's arm, expressing her gratitude. "Thank you! Thank you for saving my sister. I really can't thank you enough."

Sakura, too, ran over, hugging Kaguya's other arm. Her large, moist eyes blinked up at her, and a shy smile spread across her face.

Looking at the two adorable faces beaming with gratitude, Kaguya was momentarily taken aback. Then she smiled to herself.

Maybe this isn't so bad after all.
