Chapter-14 The Azure Light Academy

"Wow!! Is this the Academy?! Damn!! Alliance and the Empire must have spent a lot of money to construct it!" A young man who was sitting near the window on the starship couldn't help but say it out loud when he saw the view out of the window.

"Huh! What do you me-!! Woah!! It's so beautiful!" This sharp exclamation caught everyone's attention, prompting them to look at their new Academy, and their reactions were no different.

Traveling from distant nations and passing through a number of warp gates could even tire a soldier, not to mention these inexperienced students. They were extremely tired due to this extremely long journey, but now they felt that it was worth it.

They had already passed through the energy shield of the planet and were finally able to see the Academy where they would be studying for the next 5 years or even longer.

The Academy, constructed in the grand Victorian style, loomed impressively over the landscape, exuding an air of majesty that captivated all who approached. Its towering spires reached towards the clouds, intricately adorned with ornate carvings and delicate filigree that spoke of a time when craftsmanship was held in the highest regard.

As one drew nearer, the sheer scale of the building became even more apparent, with its imposing presence casting long shadows across the manicured lawns.

The ancient structure stood in stark contrast with the sleek starships crafted with advanced interstellar technology, as they gracefully descended onto the docking port, bringing students from various nations together.

As the students disembarked from their respective starship, they were welcomed by robots who were guiding them towards the dormitory.

"Wow! He's so handsome!"

"I wonder where he's from."

"Oh, I just spotted him stepping off the Alliance starship."

"Galactic Alliance! Then, is he an alpha or omega?"

The topic of all these whispers was a young man of impressive height, his gaze sweeping over his surroundings with a sense of wonder. His forest green eyes glimmered with excitement, infusing his youthful visage with an extra layer of charm.

At this moment, Liam realized he had unwittingly become the focal point of everyone's gaze. Dismissing the eager crowd that wanted to approach him, he hurriedly strode over to the guiding robot to retrieve his dormitory details. Once he learned which dormitory he would be staying in, he made his way toward the building with purpose.

As he walked away, the students nearby let out a collective sigh of disappointment.

"Ah! I couldn't even get his terminal ID…I shouldn't have hesitated just now.."

"hey! don't worry! There are plenty of opportunities ahead, and he's not the only attractive guy at the Academy. I saw many good-looking alphas joining this time!"

Liam breathed a sigh of relief when he entered the dormitory room. He was really flustered with all that attention. He was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he didn't even notice the presence of another person around him.

"Hey! Are you my new roommate?"

Liam finally came back to his senses after hearing this. He looked at the source of the voice and was stunned from the moment he saw it.

The figure standing before him towered with a commanding height and a robust, muscular build. He possessed striking good looks, characterized by deep, dark eyes and a tousled mane of short, rugged hair.

However, what truly amazed Liam was the impressive pair of long horns that gracefully arched from his head.

The sturdy man obviously saw his stunned expression, he instantly wrapped his arms around himself,"Damn! You didn't fall in love with me, did you? Hey! Let's make it clear, I'm not interested in AA love. I only like sweet and cute omegas."

"What!? No, no! It's n-not like that. I was just a little surprised."

Seeing his frustrated expression, the sturdy man burst out laughing, "Hahaha!! Why are you so nervous? I was just kidding!"

Liam was a little embarrassed, so in order to divert his attention, he looked around his dormitory. It was a spacious four person dormitory, each having their own personal rooms with an attached bathroom. The bedrooms are located on the sides while in the middle is the living along with an open kitchen.

"By the way, what's your name?"

Hearing this, Liam looked back at the man and answered subconsciously, "Liam, what about you?"

"Well, you can call me Kester. As you can guess, I am a dragon from the Norex Empire." Kester said this while pointing at his horns.

Even though Liam had already expected this answer, he was still shocked after hearing it from Kester. In the end, he even took a step back out of fear and nervousness.

Kester, who didn't care about Liam's reaction, was still talking with great enthusiasm,"You are from the Galactic Alliance, right!?"

"Y-yes." Liam gulped due to nervousness.

"Then do you know any angel or Elf? Hey, if you know, then please help me meet one…" Kester's eyes were sparkling brightly when he talked about this topic.

When Liam heard the word Angel, his mind instantly drifted back to the stunning figure he had encountered a few weeks ago. Each time he recalled the image of that breathtaking young man, he found himself lost in a trance, just as he had been the very first time.

"Hey! Liam! Get back to your senses! With your expression, it seems like you really know an angel, right!?"

"Dude! You see, although I am from the Norex Empire, I've always dreamed of having an elf or an angel as my wife. So, if you can help me meet one, I swear I'll make you the best man at my wedding."

Listening to the non-stop chatter of Kester, Liam realized that this person was a complete chatterbox, really inconsistent with his looks. He didn't even give him a chance to answer, "Uh, K-kester, I am sorry, but I have never come into contact with any elf or Angel."

Kester obviously did not believe him. He cast a suspicious gaze towards Liam, "Then, why did you have that expression on your face?"

"Uh..well..that I was just thinking about something…but you will have plenty chances to meet them in the Academy. So, don't worry."

Kester sighed after hearing this,"I hope so…"

"Anyways, let's go and rest. After all, we will have to attend the opening ceremony tomorrow."

"Alright.." Liam was indeed a little tired after this long journey.

Even though Kester was the first one to say this, but he continued to engage in lively conversation with Liam as they waited for their other two roommates. Thanks to Kester's vibrant energy, Liam found himself easing into the situation, finally coming to terms with the reality of sharing his space with a dragon.
