Noah and James stood next to Yui, "Both of you know how to use guns?"

James and Noah look at each other at the same time.

"No"

"Yes"

Noah didn't even touch a gun in his life before and while James knew how to use a gun, James bent over and picked up the gun for himself from the ground, it's probably the dead man's gun.

"UPM 45, this is a lot better than I thought." James starts to check the UPM 45 gun.

"When did you learn to use a gun and from the way you are holding this gun it seems you have quite experience using this one." Noah said to James.

"Well, it's none of your business. I would prefer it if you really quit and don't talk shit." James said that he's the main character of the story.

As James and Noah start bickering with each other she starts to walk ahead alone, Noah and James saw her walking alone and disappeared in darkness.

"What is she thinking about going alone all by herself in this place?" Noah said as he saw her disappear Inside the darkness but he didn't have courage to follow after her or called out her name.

"That's why I don't like brats. They think they are strong enough to deal with any shit and we come back later on with huge shit that we have to deal with." Even though James is also scared to be alone in darkness but gun in his hand gave him a little bit of confidence.

"James, we shouldn't let her go alone like this. We need to bring her back." Noah said as he looked at darkness that's ready to devour them just as they lowered their guard.

"Two of us can run away from here, she might be lying to us about this darkness."

"We are still on planet chthon not on some so-called nightmare realm this girl is talking about. Maybe she lost her mind after getting abducted and put inside container cargo for so long."

"Noah, the most important thing is if we escape now we can inform the police about this girls and human trafficking network that is going on here."

"Think Noah, think."

"We can't bring them along with us, we would get caught by the gangster and mafia, we would get skinned alive like this poor soul here." James said while pointing his finger at the dead body, Noah turned his head to look at the dead body seeing this dead body shiver run down his spine. Whoever did this to someone must be a really cruel and demon-like person.

"This isn't done by monsters but by humans, these people are really scary. This isn't the first time they would kill someone like this and won't be the last time either."

"But it's wrong to leave them just like this, we have to at least tell them our plan first. So, they don't get panicked and scared after we go." Noah said as this doesn't feel right to him.

"You are really dumb, if we tell them our plan they would start panicking and make loud noises and we would get caught before we even manage to make them calm down." James doesn't trust Yui's word about this nightmare realm.

He thinks she is just a girl who got a mental breakdown after being trafficked and it isn't a good decision to stay around with someone like her and this darkness around its easily explainable to him.

There's a chemical factory not far from here, he heard that they make illegal chemicals products that are banned by their countries law and they also do lots of shady stuff behind the door.

If the chemical company isn't behind this darkness then it would be their enemies nation, there have been rumours about them developing new weapons.

If they're behind this then we are in the midst of war, hiding in the bunker is a good choice but where he's going to find one.

Whatever the reason behind this darkness is he doesn't know about it but he is not going to believe that girl words cause that's absurd and unrealistic.

James starts to make his plans to get the hell out of here without being caught by anyone, while Noah is fighting inside his mind with his morals and survival instinct.

James' words make sense to him that what Yui told them might be her delusion as she has gone through something he couldn't understand and anyone who would be at her place would definitely have lost their mind.

But his past few days' experience told him that the world isn't as simple as it looks, he's getting weird and different kinds of creepy feelings and fear from this darkness, it feels as if this darkness itself is a living entity and James said to him that the dead man was skinned alive by gangsters, if man has done this then why would they leave behind their gun on ground instead of taking with them.

Noah isn't completely sure about whether they're in the real world or nightmare realm as Yui told them about but one thing is a curtain, if he and James leave behind these girls they are going to die or be sold off to who knows where in this world.

Noah after thinking for a while started to walk towards the direction Yui left even though he couldn't see anything after a few metres distance he still walked in that direction slowly without making any loud noise.

Noah could hear the gun firing sound in distance within minutes break or second time to time as he's inside the war zone.

"Hey, Noah, where the hell do you think you are going?" James said that to Noah as Noah started walking in the direction Yui left.

"James you might be able to live with leaving them behind like this but I can't, you can go ahead and get help from police and authorities but I will stay here with them." Noah said with strong resolution in his mind.

Even though he's scared now, leaving all this girl behind isn't something he would ever be able to live with and James here was losing his shit after hearing Noah answer.

'Why this guy wants to be the main character here, he ain't hero material nor he got strength to protect himself let alone others.' James thought in his mind, he wanted to smack Noah's head really hard right now and beat some sense into him but he couldn't right now.

As both of them are outside and the firearm sounds isn't doing anything good for him either.

Noah starts to walk towards where Yui goes, although James didn't want to find her but he still reluctantly follows behind Noah as he didn't want to stay alone in this darkness as it gives this frightening feeling that he never felt before here working for years.

Being scared of the unknown is the biggest human fear after all.

Holding torch light and the gun in his hand James looks at his front and back time to time James ready for anyone who shows up before them, while walking James couldn't see beyond the visibility of torch light but Noah could see a few meters beyond that.

Noah saw an empty path but this but this strong stench of human corpse is still coming over here even though they walked past the dead body.

"James this stench in the air keeps getting stronger, it seems there's more than one dead body over here." Noah said in a low voice to James.

"There's nothing we can do about this except for getting hell out of this place but you wouldn't listen to me." James is still angry about Noah not coming together with him.

After walking on a straight path for a few minutes, Noah finally saw Yui standing in the middle of the road looking at a completely red road.

Path in front of her is painted red with blood and flesh, the container on side also has this blood stains mark, in front of him is minced meat of human.

He can tell this is human blood and flesh from the bones scattered around there.

From the way someone killed this human is filled with hatred for this person who died or was completely sick in his head.

Now, Noah and James both get their answer where that stench was coming from that they were talking about before.

James and Noah both looked at the flesh and blood and vomited out, emptying whatever that was left in their stomach.

"Someone killed them in such a brutal way that we can't even identify who this body belongs to and this time this isn't even an intact body, just flesh and blood."

"Even this person's clothes, hair and shoes are cut into shreds." James said as they can see in blood and flesh there's fabric, shoe sole and hair floating in blood or stick to the flesh.

"This murderer is a psychopath, killing someone like this isn't something humans can do." Noah said he turned his head away from the flesh and blood.

"This isn't done by man but by a nightmare creature." Yui said that again looking deep inside the darkness ahead of them.
