EPS 9 Mission to Find a Spring

In the morning inside the tent Primo was woken up by Natali, Natali said 'Wake up Primo.' Primo did not respond to anything, Natali in her heart said 'Don't want to wake up, how about I give you a little touch of pleasure?' Natali was about to kiss Primo's lips. Before kissing Primo woke up and moved away from Natali.

Primo said 'What do you want to do?'

Natali with a seductive smile replied 'Just trying to give you a little touch of pleasure before waking you up.'

Primo blushed and said 'What a pervert aunty.'

Natali responded spoilt saying 'You're still a rude little boy.' Dracko also entered the tent saying 'Let's hurry up we are leaving.'

Natali grumbled saying 'Just disturb you Dracko.' While leaving the tent followed by Primo and Dracko who laughed.

Arriving at the armoury, Primo the armourer asked 'Mr Dracko, what equipment are you bringing.'

Dracko asked 'Primo what weapons are you bringing?'

Primo replied and asked the armourer 'Is there a sword light enough to carry?'

The equipment keeper replied 'Of course there is but this sword's durability is not very strong.'

Primo asked Dracko 'Is there any magic to enhance weapons?'

Dracko replied, 'There is magic that strengthens not only weapons but other objects as well. It works by flowing the energy core to the intended object.' He picked up a knife nearby and suddenly the blade burst into flames.

Dracko said 'This is what it looks like.'

Natali said, 'You're showing off.'

Primo asked for the weapon he wanted, and the equipment guard gave him the sword. The equipment keeper asked 'Dracko, Natali, do you have any more.'

Natali replied 'No, my magic weapon is more than enough.' Dracko took his leave.

The equipment keeper said 'Devision members are different, have a quick trip and come back alive.'

They left the Spring Colony. On the way, they rested and ate the food that Natali had brought. While enjoying the food Primo asked Dracko 'How did you get to Spring Colony?'

Dracko replied 'Maybe ten years ago, I met Kreig when Kreig lost his family to a group of Horned Serpents. I don't know the details, but I helped Kreig defeat the Horned Serpend. When the battle was over Kreig seemed frustrated in front of his family, at that time Kreig asked me to help create a group where people who lost hope could find new hope, and in the end Spring Colony was formed.'

Primo again asked 'Then where is your family?'

Dracko gloomily replied 'They died in the civil war. I, fed up with the never-ending civil war, decided to leave.'

Primo said to Natali 'What about you Natali?'

Natali replied 'My village is located in the middle of the dragon race civilisation. My village was destroyed because of the dragon race war when I escaped and got lost in this area Kreig saved me.'

Primo turned to Dracko and said 'Is this your doing?'

Natali shouted to Primo 'Stop it, he wasn't involved at all, even though I tried to kill him several times, but when I used my magic to see his past, he never even participated in the war and Dracko was labelled a coward in the dragon race.'

Dracko just smiled and said 'oee, that's enough Natali.'

Primo said 'Natali Dracko forgive me if I can't remember the location clearly.'

Natali replied 'No need to worry I've already seen it. '

Natali also invited to continue the journey because it was already daytime, Primo was relieved that there was no grudge between the two of them.

Arriving at the mouth of the cave, Dracko said, 'These look like ordinary rocks.'

Natali replied 'The entrance to the cave is downhill there is a possibility that this cave is covered by the desert.' While entering the cave they found a spring. Primopun soaked in the spring while drinking the water and said to himself 'finally I can take a bath' followed by the two of them.

Primo asked 'How do we carry the water, we didn't bring a water barrel?'

Dracko replied 'Leave it to Natali.'

Natali asked them to stay away from the spring. Natali used the magic 'Arbsorb' to absorb the spring. Primo was amazed by Natali's magic.

Primo asked 'What magic did you use Natali?'

Natali replied, 'Dark magic, magic that can absorb objects and bring them back out.

Natali said 'Let's go back.'

Primo asked 'Is the water enough?'

Natali replied 'I have absorbed up to my limit and I am currently unable to fight, I am also surprised that this spring is so abundant like there is no end to it.'

They returned

It was getting late and they could already see the Colony signalling they were almost there.

Natali said 'We're lucky we didn't encounter any Horned Serpents.'

Dracko said 'Stay alert.'

Primo silently said 'is there no detection magic' shortly after that Primo felt the object towards them moving very fast towards Natali.

Primo shouted 'Dracko prepare for battle' Primo pulled out his sword towards Natali right after that Horned Serpend appeared from the ground behind Natali about to attack Natali using his horns, Primo used reinforcement magic in time to block Horned Serpend's horns with his sword but Primo was blown into the air, Dracko transformed into his half dragon form to save Primo. Natali who could not fight could only dodge the Horned Serpend's attack Dracko quickly dueled with the Horned Serpend Dracko slashed the Horned Serpend's neck with his magic axe weapon but only made cracks in his skin. Dracko retreated to keep his distance from the Horned Serpend saying 'this Horned Serpend is different'.

Natali shouted 'Horned Serpend is different from usual.'

Dracko shouted 'I knew it.' Primo used his magic to coat his sword with fire 'Fire Range Slash' the attack hit the Horned Serpend's neck. The Horned Serpend attacked Primo with its horns, Primo used 'Slow motion' magic to avoid the Horned Serpend's attack by jumping high enough, Primo again used 'Fire Range Slash' magic towards its neck and retreated towards Dracko.

Primo asked Dracko 'Is the neck the Horned Serpend's weakness?'

Dracko replied 'well usually I can cut it down in one hit but this Horned Serpend is different this monster is very strong' Dracko silently said 'your skin is very hard harder your skin or my strongest attack'

Dracko released a fire aura all over his body and his magic weapon Dracko used 'Speed up' magic to increase his speed quickly Draco behind Horned Serpend's neck with his magic 'Dragonfire Arc' holding an axe with both hands slashed Horned Serpend's neck. Horned Serpend fell but with its tail trying to attack Dracko, Dracko could only hold back with his magic axe bouncing towards Primo.

Horned Serpend also got up Dracko's attack only damaged the skin of his neck. Dracko said 'I can use my attack one more time.'

Primo asked 'Is fire the Horned Serpend's weakness?'

Dracko replied 'No. Its weakness is ice.'

Primo said 'Natali Dracko I have an idea.'

Natali said 'What's your idea?'

Primo explained saying 'Use some of the water to wet the Horned Serpend, I'll freeze the water to freeze the Horned Serpend, and Dracko use your last attack to hit the target.'

Natali said 'But this water is for the people of Spring Colony.'

Dracko said 'Do it anyway, we only used part of it, tomorrow we can take it back, the most important thing is that we return alive.'

Natali used her magic 'Loadout' right on top of the Horned Serpend, the Horned Serpend screamed, Primo used his booster magic 'Freeze' to freeze the water Horned Serpend froze instantly.'

Dracko said 'With this it's done.' 'Speedup' Dracko quickly got behind the Horned Serpend and with 'Dragonfire Arc' the Horned Serpend was knocked down.'

Dracko said as he asked Natali 'With this water exchanged for flesh Natali what percentage of water did you use?' while cutting the Horned Serpend's horns and skin.'

Natali replied 'twenty-five per cent.'

Dracko asked Natali 'Can you suck objects again?'

Natali replied 'only the horns and a small part of the skin.'

Dracko said 'Go for it. ' while carrying the Horned Serpend meat. After finishing, Draco took Primo and Natali on the road.

On the way Primo asked 'why not use water magic for life.'

Natali replied 'That can't be done. You will be poisoned if you drink water obtained from magic.'

Primo asked Dracko 'Isn't it hard to carry that much meat?'

Dracko replied 'yes of course it's heavy but I want to party when we get there.'

Arriving at Spring Colony they were greeted by Stevan.

Stevan said 'You're late Dracko, we almost left to pick you up.'

Dracko replied with a smile 'We better party.' While rushing towards the hall. Natali didn't answer anything and went towards the well. Primo was introduced to Stevan.

Primo said 'My name is Primo.'

Stevan said 'My name is Stevan, the Centaur race of the Spring Colony's Moon Guard Division.'

Primo said 'oh I thought there were only six divisions here.'

Stevan said 'There are ten divisions so far, you better rest now and go to the hall for dinner.'

Primo asked 'Are you not coming?'

Stevan replied 'I'll catch up if I come now that no one is guarding Spring Colony.'

Primo went to the hall, in the hall Primo was greeted by the divisions and residents of Spring Colony.

Dracko announced that the success of this mission was because of Primo. Everyone cheered for Primo.

Neved said 'The water shortage problem has been solved now.' Kreig added that not only did they find the water source but they also brought meat and important materials. Everyone enjoyed the feast.

Primo took some food and left the hall towards Steven's watch.

Primo said, 'Come, let's eat together, I'll keep you company until you're replaced.' Steven accepted Primo's gift and asked 'What about the party?'

Primo replied 'That's how everyone was full of laughter.' While sitting down to enjoy the food he had brought

Steven asked 'why didn't you come?'

Primo replied 'Because you're here alone.'

Steven smiled and said 'who taught you to behave like that.'

Primo replied 'My father taught me that.'

Steven said 'Your father has enough empathy to teach you little things like this.' He turned to Primo who was asleep.'

Steven grumbled 'It's only been a few minutes since you said you wanted company and now you're asleep.' Kreig who heard Steven's grumbling laughed and said 'He's a unique kid with too much empathy.'

Stevan said 'Well, I heard the story that he helped you settle things with the families of the victims who died as a result of failing to perform their duties and lectured everyone last night.'

Kreig said, 'Yes, and in the morning many of the people were more active in their lives.' Carrying Primo to his tent.'

Steven said 'We are lucky today.'

Kreig said 'If we are sincere there is always a way out of every problem, I'll go first.'
