Let me explain myself "she stood by the entrance door, a safe distance away from Ryan who was boiling in rage.

"You almost killed her "

"It wasn't me it was....

"Am fine don't worry"Gwen smiled weakly

"Save your strength Gwen"Hearing Gwen's voice the anger building up in him began to simmer.

"Ryan"Jojo tried not to tear up

"Let's talk some other time, maybe when I don't feel like hitting you"he lifted Gwen in his hands like a baby and she nestle her head against his chest.

"Out of my way"

"Hear me out"Jojo followed closely behind him

"Call Carly ,tell her to call the driver"he carried Gwen away.

"Okay"Jojo ran to the party to look for Carly.

Jojo ran through a corridor and she saw Carly who was clearly drunk dancing with some friends.

"Carly!"Jojo ran up to her yelling her name the loud music made it difficult to hear anything.

At the poolside Ryan manage to lift Gwen in his hands and carried her outside to the parking lot .

"It's cold out here"Gwen murmured

"I'll call our driver"Ryan said he searched his pocket for his phone but couldn't find it, Then he remembered he left it on the floor by the poolside.

"I left my phone by the pool"he said stroking a wayward strand of hair away from her face "I'll be back, wait here"Ryan sat her down on a stairway

"Okay, please be quick"

"I will" he hurries back into the building to retrieve his phone.

"What now!"Carly roughly pushed Jojo as she struggled to keep her feet on the floor.

Jojo pulled Carly out of the party and into the pool room where they saw Ryan picking up his phone.

"Where's Gwen?"Jojo asked

"I left her outside and came in here to get my phone "Ryan staired at his drunk sister and put his hand over his face, disappointed.

"Ryan... Ryan... you.. you're "Carly lost her balance and fell.

"Ugh... Carly get up "Ryan groan

Jojo helped Ryan pull outside and Ryan called the driver. About thirty minutes later he drove into the compound and drove them home.

*************The next day***************

"Carly am disappointed in you I expected an act like this from Ryan-"

"Mum!"

"Shut up"Isabella glared at Ryan "Carly" Isabella returned her gaze to her daughter.

"Mum- mom am sorry"

"No more parties for the two-three of you till the end of this semester "

"What about Jordan's birthday party next weekend, I have to be there "Carly pulled a long face.

"I'll think about it now you two go check on Gwen " Isabella left for her room.

"You go check on her "Carly angrily stormed off to her room. Ryan sighed and made his way to Gwen's room .

Gwen had caught a serious cold the night before due to her being exposed to the horrible cold at the party. Isabella instructed the two stay home to look after Gwen.

Ryan knocked on the door and Gwen approved he enter the room.He closed the door behind him,he sat beside her on her bed and held her hand.Gwen smiled sweetly at him and he smiled back .

"How'd you feel?"Ryan asked genuinely concerned about her well-being .

"My head hurts"Gwen sat upright

"I'll admit I was a little scared when I saw you unconscious in the pool."Ryan chuckled nervously.

"I never really thanked you properly last night for saving my life"Gwen hugged him "Thank you, Ryan"

"You're.... You're welcome "
