Back at the party arena, students had gathered, watching the drama about to blow up between Jeremy and Rowan, the new intake and a juvenile delinquent. Seeing the rage in Jeremy's eyes, Nadine was dumbfounded. Why the anger? Wasn't he angry with her?
"I said drink up, you motherfucker, or else you won't like what will happen."
Nadine wanted to stop Jeremy. She didn't like where this was going, and at that moment, Rowan threw the cup, and it crashed into a thousand pieces, pouring the red wine on the floor. He spoke nonchalantly.
"Oh dear, you caught me. I spiked the wine, and so what? I wanted to have fun with her. Is that a crime, Jeremy? And who are you to question me?"
Nadine froze. So the wine was drugged, and here she was about to take it and drink from a weirdo. How stupid was she?
Before she could blink her eyes, Jeremy had launched upon Rowan, and it became bloody as Jeremy threw merciless punches on the poised guy, making him crumble before vomiting a large amount of blood.
"That's it, you pussy. You're gonna die today for this," Rowan thundered, and he twisted Jeremy's hands. Jeremy yelled, but not before giving Rowan a powerful kick that made him fall into a pile of drinks that burst into various places.
Students began panicking. The founder's day ball became chaotic. Nadine was confused. She didn't know what to do, and at that moment, Luna came in and faced Nadine.
"What's going on? Why is Jeremy fighting, and with Rowan for that matter?" Luna asked, obviously pissed.
"I know this is my fault. I don't know what to do. It was just a small conversation that led to this, Luna. What do I do?" Nadine asked. At this point, she had forgotten Jeremy's threat. Her main concern was him. Was he gonna be okay? Oh my God, why is it that she was always a magnet for trouble? That's how she got expelled in her other school mainly for this issue. What will she do?
Luna flared up.
"What do you mean, what do I do? Have you seen what you have caused? Don't you know that Jeremy is not as privileged as you, that if the higher authorities get this, he might be expelled permanently?"
Nadine's face turned white. She had forgotten Jeremy was from a poor background. Gosh, what do I do? At that moment, Ezekiel came in and marched straight to the fight arena, totally ignoring Nadine as if she never existed.
To everyone's shock, Zeke pushed Rowan, and he landed in a nearby swimming pool, looking so drenched and with a large cut on his forehead and his hands. Jeremy, who was not content, wanted to lash out more, but Zeke held his hands and pushed him mightily on the wall, caging him there.
Jeremy's face turned red instantly. He didn't know whether it was from embarrassment that his fellow guy was turning him on, or the fact that Nadine was staring at him, looking confused.
Zeke then moved closer to him and whispered in his ear. This made the students curious about what it was, because it made Jeremy calm instantly.
Jeremy stared at Zeke's lips, which were so close to him, and he looked away, feeling more embarrassed.
"I understand now. Please, can you let me go? Or don't you care about your reputation? You know you're literally the god of the school and everyone's dream guy. Please, can you free me?"
Zeke's lips curved in a mocking smile, and he went to his neck.
"You know that with this action, it's expulsion. So, with your stupidity and folly, more of the students have despised you now because you have turned the table as a bully, not Rowan. So prepare to be expelled."
Jeremy froze, and at that moment, he realized he had fucked up. But behind him, various people were taking pictures of the intimate contact, and it had flooded the school vlog and various social media. After this, Zeke casually left, and he stopped before Nadine and gave her something.
Nadine watched Zeke leave with his poker face, walking away as if nothing serious had happened. It made Nadine more curious to know what was going on in his head and what he gave her. At that moment, she met an enraged Luna, who snatched the paper from her hand and opened the content. Reading what was written, she frowned.
"So you're seeing Zeke now after what you did to Jeremy? I should have known. You're a whore. How could you?"
Nadine was speechless. What the hell was wrong with Luna? Why was she overreacting? The guy that passed was hot, she won't lie, but she had never been that smitten—or was she? But why call her a slut?
"Excuse me, girl. I know you're my friend, but know your boundary. And if you ever call me a whore, you will see the other side of me, so be warned."
Luna glared at her and went to Jeremy, who was also badly injured. Rowan had left the room, but not before giving Jeremy a death look, which made Luna tremble.
"So, see what you have caused, Jeremy? Why her? I know we are friends, but she's just new. Why fight for her? I am beyond disappointed, guy."
Nadine watched them from behind, looking dejected. She couldn't believe she once called Luna her friend. But again, what's happening? Why was Jeremy so angry, and why was Luna so bitter that Jeremy came to her rescue?
At that moment, the familiar clicking of heels was heard in the hallway, and it was the trio: Rose, Emily, and Sylvia. Rose wasn't smiling at all.
Rose walked straight to Nadine and held her cheeks.
"I heard what happened. Are you okay? That jerk, he didn't take advantage of you, did he? And that pussy, where is she?"
Nadine was confused. How the hell did Rose know? At that moment, Emily whispered to her.
"I might have filled your sister in about Rowan and Luna, and she's really pissed."
Nadine's face paled instantly. Oh no. Luna was doomed, if that's it. Before she could intervene, Rose walked straight to Luna, who was cleaning Jeremy's blood off his arms, and blocked their way.
"Hi Jeremy and Luna. I heard what happened, how you stood up for my sister. That's so sweet of you. And you, Luna, you wretched soul, how dare you call my sister a whore?"
Luna's face turned to Nadine, who was not happy with the event. Seeing Nadine's face, Luna smiled.
"Oh, the poor baby called her sister to fight for her. What a shame. Here I was, thinking you were strong, not knowing you were a weakling…"
Luna had not landed before Rose sent a slap to her cheeks and gave her a mad blow that made her stagger off. Luna was shocked beyond measure.
"Oh my, my, Luna, what happened to your tongue? Were you shocked?"
Rose then shifted Jeremy aside and faced Luna fully. To Luna's dismay, Jeremy didn't come to her rescue, and her disappoinment tripled beyond measure.
"Who needs help now, you daughter of a pussy? You know what I realized? That your parents made a mistake when giving birth to you because, you know what, you're more of a failure."
"And the sperm your father used to birth you was a waste because you're a useless trash."
Rose thundered, looking at the sad girl who was hurt beyond words.
"Aww, are you about to cry? Did my words get to you? Then cry a river, and afterward, go to your room and begin thinking why you're so useless, because I can't imagine giving birth to a failure." Seeing the venom her words had inflicted on the girl, she smiled triumphantly and went on her way, not before dragging her sister with her.
Nadine looked back at the girl who was crying now, and she let out a sardonic laugh. No doubt she was glad for Rose because that was so satisfying to watch.
Jeremy also left her and went to his room because he knew tomorrow morning the call to the principal's office was pending, and his fate was in their hands now. Why? He was a scholarship student, and it was obvious they don't value them here.
At that moment, Zeke's face appeared to him, along with Nadine's real boyish looks with his silver hair and emerald eyes.
Realizing what he was doing, he snapped.
"What am I thinking? I can't be fantasizing about Ezekiel and Nadine. No, I am not gay,
Never".
