I Won't Kill Any Bunnies

Hearing her words dripping in pain, Siroos drew further closer to her and enclosed his buffed arms around her waist. Placing his nose in the dip of her neck he took a deep whiff and heaved out.

"Don't leave me, Cassa. You are all I need. I don't need any other woman."

"Call me selfish if you may. But we are in this together. If I can't have a child, neither can you," she laid out the harsh truth and his arms tightened around her.

"I don't need a child if it's not with you," he slowly breathed out and they both relaxed against each other. A burden seemed to have been lifted off Cassandra's heart.

The bond squirmed in her chest, telling her to trust her mate.

"You mean it?" She placed her hands on his.

"Every word."

"Let's train. After that, I wish to learn something new," she said with a click of her tongue. There was this naughty hint of a smile on her face.

"Regarding training?" Siroos suspiciously asked.
