Chapter 46 Among Misunderstandings

"Help me wash my clothes." Isabella tossed her jacket to Blanché.

Blanché didn't move.

"What's wrong? Aren't you the maid hired by Brother Felix?"

Blanché closed her eyes. Sure enough, just as one wave subsided, another rose. She maintained her smile and said, "Miss Isabella, I'm not a maid, and I have no obligation to do these things for you. I'm just temporarily staying here."

"Staying here temporarily means you have to contribute labor; otherwise, how will you pay for your room?"

Isabella was indeed difficult to deal with when she got arrogant. Blanché rubbed her temples and said, "Miss Isabella, if I remember correctly, Mr. Felix seems to have some social engagement tonight. He looked quite troubled. Aren't you going to help Mr. Felix?"

Mentioning Felix caused Isabella's expression to change. She had come here because she couldn't find him anywhere else.

"Are you serious?" Isabella asked suspiciously.
