Chapter 3

 After the last bell rang Katie, Tyler, and Aden meet outside the School doors where Katie has an intriguing idea for the boys. "You guys have any plans tonight?", Katie said with her eyes filled with excitement. "Not really, you?", Tyler looked at me with curiosity. "No, my dad is going to be working on his chef-d'oeuvre for the week. He won't be available till then.", I said with a slight sigh. "Well, if you're up for it, we can do something fun tonight~", Katie said. Tyler and I looked at each other, considering Katie's proposal. "Like what Katie?" I asked. "Well, you both know my parents are real estate agents right?, Katie said while looking at the boys. "Well, they have this old abandoned house sitting on the market for ages and they are looking to bulldoze the property", Katie followed. "Your point being?" Tyler remarked. "I was thinking we could explore it before it is destroyed.", Katie crossed her arms following that statement. Tyler and I thought it through and decided to meet up at my house before going on their adventure. After the three went home to change into more appropriate attire, they met at the address Katie gave them.

 Upon arrival, I was wearing a more relaxed attire, a basic black sweater, blue jeans, and a grey plaid shirt wrapped around my waist. I gazed at what I assumed was a house, it was barely one. White walls on the outside, holes all over the walls, broken glass panels, the door is about to fly off, and the entire front is slanted forward like it's about to collapse. "Is this the place..?", I asked myself while checking the address one more time to be sure, until I heard a familiar voice around the corner. "ADEN!!!~~", Katie ran and hugged me from behind, I gave a slight chuckle and faced towards her. "Hey dude, sorry if we were late, Katie had issues with her so-called shortcuts", Tyler giving a mischievous giggle as Katie smacked his arm, further making him laugh. "No it's alright, I just got here anyways. Are you sure this is the right address?", I said, trying to hide the doubt and slight concern in my tone. "Yeah, im certain. This is the place.", Katie looked towards the house. "Welp, y'all got your tetanus shots?", I stated sarcastically as I walked toward the front door. "TETANUS…!?!? What do you mean Tetanus shots..!?!? Are we going to need them…?! Maybe this isn't a good idea..!-", Tyler frantically overthinking my statement, not realizing the sarcasm in it. My only response? "Maybe.", because deep down, I had that same feeling.
