Chapter 3: Innate Demonic Nature

In this world, a beast's strength is clearly defined across 8 stages, each further segmented into 3 distinct levels: low, medium, and high.

- Low level signifies that the beast's strength aligns with the 1st or 2nd realm of any stage.

- Medium level indicates that the beast possesses strength approximately at the 4th and 5th realm of a stage. If a stage comprises 9 realms, the strength would correspond to the 4th realm; for a stage with 10 realms, the strength would align with the 5th realm.

The high level is simple, representing the peak strength of any stage. Despite not being a cultivator, the girl had some understanding of this knowledge. Knowing the specific strengths of different realms, she dashed towards the boy, hoping he could save the day. However, the anxious and naive girl failed to consider that he might be a demonic cultivator. A more astute person would question his failure to hear the roar of the giant-clawed lions and whether he is doing it on purpose.

In the end, the boy had to confront a cunning and suspicious person. His plan seemed simple, but he had to take a risk, even if the person didn't trust him. When one's life is in danger, taking such a risk is common, and he had no choice but to do so. The boy understood this. Eventually, he discarded the worthless items in a bush and concealed himself there, carefully observing the "Giant Clawed Lion," a low-level beast in the first stage. He intended to inspect it thoroughly to learn how to fight it, as he didn't have much experience.

He watched with indifference as the lion swept the guards who were barely holding him down. Killing them all and sending all the remaining people into Pale dead dreadness. Eventually, killing all the children, all the young and teenagers, along with the adults who still took a fight to the end. The boy jumped and pounced on the beast when its guard was down. He swiftly punched and kicked the lion's head before withdrawing. The lion responded with a swift claw strike that the boy was barely able was dodge, getting a wound on his chest and his arm. They moved in a zig-zag manner, confusing the beast and striking it skillfully. He also grabbed a handful of dirt when he got close to the lion and threw it at its eyes. The lion roared in itching pain and let his guard down and then got by a barrage of punches and kicked viciously on his whole body.

But the lion eventually gave out a roar that was so loud that the birds from their nests flew in panic as they heard this.

Rrrrooooaaarrrer!!!!!!!

The roar was way too loud as he was the closest to it, and now the vigilance boy was simply in a daze, and he got.....baffled.The lion simply didn't use this method throughout the entire fight. He wanted to know all the methods of the beast, but just when he thought it was going to be over ....the beast simply caught him off guard with this attack, and now he had blood dripping constantly from his ears. He now knew what the beast had in its arsenal. He began to fight more viciously, not even giving it time to rest and swiftly picked up a half-broken sword and began slashing at the whole body of the beast, clearly having the motive to make it bleed and thus, it may lose its footing more quickly.

After a while, he had now taken a few more claw wounds while the beast held on to his last breath and in a battered shape, desperately clinging to its own life..

But the fight was still prolonged; it was supposed to take a few minutes but got extended to a 30-minute fight. The boy, with his small body, swiftly moved like the wind, tightly gripped onto his broken sword and slashing and swinging at the beast, and now his attacks were becoming more fearsome and vicious. The right eye of the beast was now critically injured by his sword, and now the lion was getting dizzy from exhaustion and blood loss.

As the fight was about to end, the lion growled and became enraged. Its eyes turned blood red as it fought back. The truth was that most carnivorous and meat-eating creatures have the innate ability to become enraged if they have no chance of survival or are in a battered state. In other words, their rage mode can be activated as a last-ditch effort to survive.

But the rage mode would eventually be deactivated naturally as no beast would hold rage mode for eternity. Beasts were naturally less intelligent compared to more developed species. However, Heaven is fair and impartial, and gave them natural-born instincts for different situations, prompting different responses. Humans had the highest flexibility and adaptivity, but didn't possess the highest level of intelligence as species beyond the scope of the Mortal Domain, who had naturally higher intelligence than humans.

Heaven was fair; thus, humans didn't hold the highest of natural strength and souls and had weak bodies. Beasts had innate strong bodies, soul, flesh, and h, an,d bones, but their intelligence was very low.

The boy had the Virtuous cultivation sovereign Immortal Physique, even if his limbs were cut off or all his organs except the heart were ripped off, he would still live.

But that was not the most surprising thing. The most surprising thing was that he didn't fight with his full strength from the very beginning!!.

If one had a skeptical look at the cause of this incident, one had to wonder if this was a scheme or if it was just a stroke of bad luck.

The boy was vigilant, even though the lion had a good level of sense of smell; how couldn't these people who have hired such an experienced band of guards be so dumb as not to think about this obvious loophole in their preparation?

They should have already prepared for such a situation. But was life so predictable? No, and now they had met their demise. He didn't even fight with full strength so that if someone wanted the caravan to die, they might ambush him. Who knows why these people were even going to the city? Whether they had enemies or not was a mystery. The most dreadful and unexpected thing is the unknown; one can only hope that their guess is correct or they were overthinking. The fight prolonged, and when no one came, he destroyed the lion. "If I wasn't such an overthinker, I would not have sustained such injuries."

The lion was beaten to death. After it died, the boy heard a sound and turned around to see a group of surviving people. Most of them were children, and there were also some women and men. They must have evacuated while he was dealing with Xie Di, but now they were dead.

These individuals were both laughing and crying. The children had tears of joy, while the adults cried bitterly for their relatives. It was a touching scene, and if one were so inclined, they might have thought about writing a beautiful poem about this. But what they encountered was their doom from the start. Such a pity.

"Benefactor, your merciful act of saving our lives shall never be forgotten!"

"Ooh lord and savior, my life is now indebted and is now yours to use"

"ohh benefactor, this old hag of bones had reached its limit; all my children died, but* *sob* You can take all my belongings; I don't dare to do anything anymore!!"

But suddenly, one of the younger children was now killed by another guy.

"Hou Li!!!!!!, What Are You Doing!!!!???".

The boys' guess was right!!!.

"Heh, I am going to kill all of you and take all your belongings, hahaha!!!!"

Laughing like a maniac it was not long before that he was killed by the boy swiftly.

But then the boy went on a massacre and killed all the children. The younger ones were screaming, while the equally younger women were cursing intensely. Only the old hags were in silence.

After all that massacre, only the old hags were left.

"Hah, our life is still and was going to end. hehe life is surely expected"

"Young boy, although you saved everyone and killed us also"

Now only one old hag was left.

"I, for myself, forgive you. You are so young, yet you still kill like an emotionless beast. Even with my wisdom, I don't quite understand what you went through. May you be killed or soar like a dragon"

Cutting off her head, and now everything was silent, turning his head around.

The boy spoke, "From now on, I shall be named Zuigao Qingxu!!!"

His journey continues...
