Chapter 12

Harper looked at Khai up and down and still felt suspicious of the man. He was handsome, she'd give him that, but he also looked a little bratty and manipulative.

"I don't know you. And you also mistook me for someone else."

"No, I'll always remember the white wolf."

Those words caused Harper's heart to stop. How did he know about her connection with the white wolf? Did he know about her dreams?

Harper forced a smile and bid Khai farewell. "I have urgent things to do. Thanks for the business card. I'll contact you later." She quickly turned around to enter her car, urging the driver to continue to their destination.

She stared out the window, watching the towering skyscrapers pass by. Khai's words resonated in her mind, but she couldn't be related to the white wolf anyways. It was best to stay away from Khai, she thought. He was most likely toying with her.
