Chapter 32

Harper smiled helplessly.

Della sighed softly, gracefully resting her chin on one hand and looking at Harper.

"Maybe I shouldn't have said that,” she admitted softly. “But I really want to thank you for your presence. Nyra's departure was a big blow for all of us. And I know you're not Nyra, but in some way, it still feels she's alive and healthy.

"If my presence comforts you, then I guess my looks aren't going to waste," Harper said with a smile.

The two smiled at each other at the same time.

Her sister Jaylani was sexy and enchanting, but Della was different. She was slim and toned, the contours of her muscles shining and her tanned skin shimmering in the light. Alongside her dreadlocked grey hair, she looked stylish and healthy.

Della ordered someone to bring food to their table and didn't let Harper get up. She even took the initiative to put some food on Harper's plate.
