Chapter 62

Harper couldn't understand Wyatt at all.

Did he want her to stay as Luna? Did he really love her as a mate and wife? The notion made Harper's pulse race, but it also felt ludicrous.

She put the thought aside and told Mac, "I'll think about it. I'm a bit tired now, so I'd like to rest."

"Of course, Luna." Before leaving, Mac paused. Finally, he whispered to her, "Luna, I'm not sure whether I should say anything..."

Harper gave him a reassuring smile. "I'd like to think we're pretty close, so just say what's on your mind."

"Wyatt truly is concerned about you, but it's just that he's bad at expressing himself and communicating, which might be because of his background. It's probably the reason for all these misconceptions. I hope you don't mind me saying all this; we're good friends, and I want to help Wyatt," Mac said hesitantly.

Harper was taken aback when she heard all this. "How long have you known Wyatt, Mac? Do you know him personally?"
