Scarlett retracted her leg and stood straight, secretly thankful that she had not tripped Harper just now.

Otherwise, Wyatt would have been furious.

Harper looked up, saw that Wyatt was back, and sneered, "I'm going for a walk. Why should I stay in a room that's supposed to be mine, but can be decorated by others however they like?"

Her words were unusually aggressive, which stunned Wyatt for a moment. He turned around and saw a pile of furniture placed aside.

Jaylani added, "Yeah, my room has been redecorated too. Harper, why don't we go to the packhouse of the Knight Pack? It's better than being controlled here, isn't it?"

Wyatt' gaze immediately fell on Scarlett, and for the first time, he realized that she was no longer the simple girl he had liked when he was eighteen.
