Chapter 74

"Harper, are you willing to let Khai handle this situation in your name?" Wyatt asked.

Harper had just calmed down and averted her gaze, not wanting to meet Wyatt' eyes.

"Yes."

"... Fine." He stared at her, his icy gaze piercing through her soul. "So, how will you take responsibility for Scarlett's injury?" He asked through gritted teeth.

Wyatt' willingness to punish Harper for what happened relieved Scarlett. She was worried that Wyatt would believe Harper, but it seemed like he was completely frustrated with her.

"Wyatt, stop." Scarlett feigned a remorseful expression. "I know I'm soft, but I don't want to cause a scene even if I let other people hurt me. Let's just forget about this. I don't need any money." She leaned her head against his chest and wistfully sighed. "I just want to go home."

Scarlett's words shook Harper to the core. Her master bedroom in the River Bed Pack mansion had become Wyatt' and Scarlett's love nest.
