Chapter 40 Testing

FAYE'S POV

I didn't know...

‘Don't be sad, Faye.’ Sue could understand my feelings at the moment, and she comforted me.

Similarly, I could also feel her sadness.

From a werewolf to having the bloodline of both a werewolf and a vampire, my current identity was a complete anomaly, and I would be forever excluded from the werewolf world. I was afraid I would never be able to transform into a wolf and run on the grassland, singing to the moon at the edge of the cliff.

We even had to go to the vampire's lair together!

‘Even gods can't control their instincts. Faye, don't put too much pressure on yourself. No matter what you do, I'm on your side.’

Sue's words comforted me.

I was really grateful that Moon Goddess didn't take Sue out of my body.

With her company, at least I wouldn't be too lonely in the days to come.

I put away those low emotions and looked at Sonja, who was lifeless on the ground.
