FAYE'S POV
Looking at Willie's expression of being struck by lightning, I felt deeply powerless.
“That was a long time ago. During The Dark Pack, before many things happened, my mating season arrived. You know, the mating season of werewolves is different from that of vampires. It's harder for us to go against our instincts, especially when our mate is nearby.”
This was the second time I had talked to someone about this. The first time I told Arnoldo, 'It was just an accident, but the child is innocent.'
Willie's expression changed again and again, “Does Timerante know about this?”
“Are you talking about my pregnancy? He knew before, but now he doesn't.”
Willie asked in confusion, “Why is that?”
“Because he wanted to kill the child in my belly, he forced me to take abortion pills. But he didn't expect that the child's vitality was very tenacious, and he didn't die!”
Willie fell silent again.
But I could see the torn look on his face.
