TIMERANTE'S POV
The whole room was very quiet, and my ears could hardly hear any sound. Time seemed to freeze at this moment, even my breathing became so clear.
I was waiting for a reply.
Finally, I didn't know how long it took, but the girl in front of me finally spoke.
"Once I find something, I'll leave." Her light words made it almost impossible for me to maintain my posture and I collapsed directly to the ground.
She really hated me!
She didn't want to believe me again, nor did she want to give me another chance.
But I couldn't blame her, I could only blame myself. At this moment, I hated the cruel, indifferent, and tyrannical self I used to be. If I could treat others more gently and consider their feelings a little, everything wouldn't have developed into what it was now.
"I want to perform an induction ceremony here." Faye's voice rang out again.
I looked up at her.
She was like a deity falling from the sky, looking down at me.
