Still In The Lead

As soon as Ouji got the ball on his hands, there was no time to stop. He continued running as if his life depended on it. Sota had just pulled a near impossible pass, and it was now up to him to see it through.

There was no time to think things through, he had to barrel forward. After all, there was only two minutes on the clock and if he were to stop, he knew that their path to victory would be swallowed by the ground.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His feet beat rhythmically, the impact reverberating up his legs as he sliced through Shinkai's defense with a natural grace that belied the urgency of the moment. Kaminari was beside him, fending off defenders left and right, creating just enough space for Ouji to work his magic.

But then, John came charging in. The Shinkai defender's footsteps were heavy and unrelenting, his eyes locked onto the flags dangling from Ouji's waist. He was going for the kill, and fast.
