mystery boy and accident

A few days later, a girl left the comfort of her home and set out towards the cemetery, the destination weighing heavily on her mind.

As she walked, the familiar surroundings of her neighborhood passed by in a blur. Her thoughts were consumed by the upcoming visit, and her heart felt heavy with a mixture of sadness and anticipation.

The cemetery came into view as she rounded a corner, the gates looming large and imposing. She took a deep breath, mustering her courage, and stepped through the entrance.

cemetery was old and well- maintained, the tombstones lined up in neat rows like sentinels standing guard. Ayame walked between them, her footsteps echoing softly on the gravel path.

She knew exactly where she was going, her feet carrying her to her parents graves like an old, familiar routine. Each step brought her closer to the reality of the situation, her heart aching with every passing moment.

As she reached the gravesite, she paused for a moment, looking down at the tombstones that marked her parent's final resting place. The names and dates etched into the stone seemed to jump out at her, a stark reminder of their absence from her life.

Ayame knelt down and placed her hand on the cold stone, her fingers tracing the letters of her mother name. She closed her eyes, trying to recall the sound of her voice, the smell of her hair, anything that would bring her mother back to life for just a moment.

She sat there for a long time, the silence of the cemetery surrounding her like a warm embrace. It was only when the sun had started to dip below the horizon that she finally stood up, her eyes still moist with unshed tears.

She took one last look at the graves, a bittersweet mixture of emotion welling up inside her. It hurt to say goodbye, but she knew that her parents were at peace, watching over her from wherever they were.

With a deep breath, Ayame turned and began to make her way out of the cemetery. As she looked back one more time, she could swear she saw a figure standing near her parents graves, watching her.

But she looked a little longer, the figure vanished, leaving her with nothing but her imagination and the whisper of the wind through the trees. *Shuuush*

With a small shiver, she shook off the feeling and continued her walk back home, the memories of her visit to the cemetery weighing heavily on her heart.

Ayame's steps took her closer to the crosswalk, oblivious to the danger ahead. But as she rummaged in her pocket for something, she felt her hand close around her headphones. She pulled them out and, as she did so, became aware of the sound of a car engine somewhere behind her.

The sound startled Ayame, and her eyes widened as she realized the predicament she was in. She looked up, searching for the source of the noise, and saw the flashing headlights of a vehicle rapidly approaching.

She froze, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to judge the distance between her and the car. It was moving far too quickly, and it was clear that the driver hadn't seen her.

With a flash of panic, Ayame's adrenaline kicked in. She made a split-decision to run, her feet carrying her away from the path of the car as she sprinted towards the other side of the street.

Ayame's frantic footsteps took her a few steps forward, but the car was moving too fast, and she knew she wouldn't make it in time. Just as she was about to brace for impact, a sudden force pushed her to the side, knocking her off her feet and sending her sprawling onto the grass.

She looked up in surprise to see boy from the cafe standing over her, his outstretched hand still extended where he had pushed her. The car raced past her, the wind tugging at her hair.

While she was on the ground, Ayame felt a sharp pain shoot through her leg as she landed on the grass, the force of the fall causing her to twist her ankle awkwardly. She tried to stand up but found that she couldn't put any weight on her right leg.

boy rushed to her side, his expression filled with concern as he knelt down beside her. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice deep and soothing.

Ayame winced in pain, her hand gripping her ankle tightly. "I think I twisted my ankle," she managed to say through gritted teeth.

The boy gently touched her ankle, his fingers moving carefully over the bruised skin. "It's swollen," he said, his expression a mix of concern and something else that Ayame couldn't quite place.

Boy looked up from Ayame's ankle, his eyes fixed on hers. "I'm going to call for an ambulance," he said firmly. "You need to get that looked at."

Ayame nodded, her leg throbbing with pain. She knew he was right, but a part of her was comforted by his presence. She didn't know much about this boy, but he had saved her life.

He stood up and pulled his phone out of his pocket, dialing the emergency number. As he spoke into the phone, Ayame couldn't help but wonder about him. Who was he, and why did he keep appearing when she needed help the most?

Ayame felt a sudden wave of dizziness overcome her, and her vision began to swim. The last thing she saw was the boy who save her life standing at her side, his expression concerned. Then everything went black.

When she woke up, she was lying in a hospital bed. The sterile, white walls and the steady beeping of machines greeted her. As she tried to sit up, a wave of pain shot through her leg, reminding her of her fall.

Confusion filled her mind as she looked around, wondering how she had ended up in the hospital.

A nurse noticed her stirring and came over to her bedside. "How are you feeling, Miss?" she asked kindly.

Ayame rubbed her head, trying to shake off the remaining grogginess. "I... I'm not sure. What happened? How did I get here?"

The nurse nodded. "we have a record that an ambulance was called for you. They found you unconscious by the side of the road. You appear to have a sprained ankle and a contusion on your head. Thankfully, the rest of your body is fine."

Ayame's brow furrowed as she tried to recall the events that led to her being here. "I... I remember falling and hurting my leg. But... there was a boy. He... he saved me."

The nurse looked puzzled. "There was no one with you when the ambulance arrived. You were found alone."

Ayame's heart sank at the nurse words. The boy had vanished again, leaving no trace behind. She felt a mix of disappointment and confusion. "But... I'm sure there was someone. The boy, he..." She trailed off, knowing that she sounded crazy.

The nurse gave her a sympathetic smile. "Sometimes accidents can be very disorienting. You may have imagined things due to the pain and head injury."

Ayame sighed, knowing that the nurse words made sense. Maybe she had imagined the whole thing. It was just... strange. It felt so real, and the boy had saved her life.

She leaned back against the pillows, her mind still full of questions. The mystery of the boy haunted her, and she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than she understood.

The nurse finished checking on her vitals and then left, leaving Ayame alone with her thoughts. She closed her eyes, replaying the events of the day in her mind, searching for any clue or hint about the mysterious boy.

The pain medication started to kick in, making her eyelids feel heavy. Ayame's attempts to stay awake were futile, as her body demanded rest.

Slowly, her thoughts drifted, and her breathing evened out as she slipped into a much needed sleep...
