Jon sighed as he watched the fish roast, he had summoned a fish and cooked it, summoning was useful, level one allowed him to summon fish, and animal summons drained mana from him, which didn't come back until the summon died. He had been practicing various things, for example by saying status, a three-dimensional screen would appear in front of him, indicating his status.

[T/N: I'm assuming the cost is to summon something and the does not spend mana is to maintain it.]

The boy sighed as he pulled the fish out of the fire, his mana regenerating little by little as long as he remained still, he didn't know the exact number but it was more or less one point of mana every minute, which meant that if he used all his mana, he would have to rest for thirty minutes in his current state.

The problem is that if he summoned an animal, he would lose ten mana, and that would not be regenerated until the animal died.

Ghost howled beside him, indicating that dinner was ready. He had summoned a blade and some wood, as well as a fish. The fish, without water to breathe, died instantly, and became food.

[T/N: When you want to drop a HARD-R!, but you were raised better than that. Also, I think the ghost howling means a pot is steaming.]

The boy looked at the fish and cut it with the knife, he remembered the farewell very well, Robb told him to come back soon, but Arya only let him go after she received her secret gift (a custom"made sword, which she called a needle), Bran and Rikkon after the promises of gifts brought from Essos, let him go. Sansa just greeted him. And Theon recommended him to stop by the brothels of Essos before returning. The boy ate and fell asleep in the tent.

He woke up again after hearing some noises, he left the tent and saw two men approaching with weapons, he didn't have to draw his sword because the Direwolf moved like a ghost, the first one let out a cry of surprise while his throat was torn, the second one didn't even have time to flee when Ghost jumped on him.

[T/N: Ah!.. I'm just mentally disabled, Ghost is his Direwolf.]

Jon smiled and then a thoughtful look appeared.

"Status" he muttered and the screen appeared.

The boy smiled and petted the wolf on the head.

"Good to know, mate, it gives me points when you kill them, I'll ask the AI when I level up," the boy said.

He saw the sun and put away the tent, he would sell it when he got to White Harbor.

" Should I summon breakfast, or shall we hunt? " He asked, earning a growl from the wolf.

" We hunt then" the boy clarified.

Breakfast was quiet, water with some rabbit for him, hunted by the wolf, and water with lots of rabbit for the wolf, he got some experience points from the hunt.

He quickly took apart the tent and blade, he did this because it gave him experience, creating items, if he put the knife sleeve on he was creating it, and it gave him some experience points, he had tried it at night, useful to gain some experience without worrying, the more items of that kind he summoned, the easier it would be to level up.

He had a few days left on foot to reach White Harbor, he had taken the long way and was a few kilometers from Moat Cailin, then in a few days he would be at the port, it was a useful practice, walking generated resistance, to a lesser degree.

The truth is that he wanted to level up, to go to the white room, he had so many more questions.

The boy shook his head.

" Come on, buddy," he told the wolf and he wagged his tail.

They walked for a couple more hours, when it was getting dark the boy sighed and began to set up his tent.

"We'll arrive tomorrow" he muttered.

XXXXXXXX

He woke up the next morning and after breakfast, it didn't take more than a few hours for Jon to arrive at the only city in the north. The market was packed, many merchants selling exotic foods, fabrics, and knives in small stalls. It had taken a few days but the boy had two tents, summoned to sell, and seven knives which he disassembled and assembled.

"Status"

Exp: 35/50

The boy smiled at that, approaching a merchant.

" Buy or sell? " he asked, looking carefully at Ghost.

" For sale," the boy said.

First putting the two folded tents on the table, and then the five knives.

"Stolen?" the man asked.

" Of course not," Jon said, offended.

The merchant raised his eyebrow, picked up one tent, then examined the other.

" The tents are fine, but I'm not selling them. You can try the sailors... The knives aren't of good quality, but I can give you a bronze coin for each" the seller explained.

"Two," said Jon

The merchant laughed.

" Fine, two…But no more" he said and handed him the money.

[T/N: definitely got fleeced there.]

Jon continued on his way to where the ships were, and approached two sailors.

"Yes?" asked one with a pointed mustache.

" Are you interested in comparing used tents? " Jon asked.

[T/N:...no Jon, just no.]

The Sailor looked at him.

" Let's look, it could be useful" the long-bearded man clarified.

They looked at them and nodded. Jon got eight bronze coins for each one, he now had seventeen bronze coins, plus the hundred silver coins his father had given him, and his five gold coins which were his life savings.

" Where do they sell tickets to Essos? " the boy asked.

The sailors pointed to a white building.

The boy followed the path to the building, where there were tables with people everywhere.

"Last passages!"

"Spear of the sun!"

"Last passages!"

"King's Landing!"

"Last passages!"

"Myr!"

"Last passages!"

"Flying!"

Jon approached the table.

" How much for Volantis? – the boy asked.

"Are you traveling with the animal?" asked the seller.

Jon nodded.

" 50 silver for you, twenty-five for the wolf," the man said.

The boy nodded.

" Port 5, in two hours" the seller clarified.

XXXXXXXXXXXX

Robb stays away from the prince, who he believes is a fool.

" I can't believe that Dad wants to wed Sansa to that idiot, even being queen isn't worth it, " the boy thought angrily.

The boy heard a scream and recognized his mother. He ran towards where it came from and saw her on the ground frantically checking Bran, who was lying down.

"Bran" he murmured after arriving to help her.

XXXXXX

"THEY ARE ATTACKING US" Jon heard in his cabin on the ship, the boy opened his eyes suddenly upon hearing the scream and left his dressing room with his sword raised.

He reached the bow and saw sailors attacking men with weapons.

" Pirates? " the boy thought and went to fight with Ghost.

He attacked the first one from behind, going through the stomach, two pirates saw him and attacked, Jon defended himself from one, and the direwolf jumped at the jugular of the other.

The sailors saw the crew fighting and focused on the pirates. Jon finally saw a big one with a large axe and readied his weapon.

"Strong attack" he muttered and hit the big pirate's axe, his arm went numb from the force and he looked at Jon in shock while he was decapitated by it.

Jon saw everything brighten and closed his eyes, opening them a second later to see that he was in the white room.

Without saying anything else he approached the AI.

Congratulations, you have leveled up.

You have two skill points.

Jon pressed FAQ.

What do you want to know?

My direwolf killed some enemies,

and gave me experience points

Familiar: The ability to bond with

an animal and share benefits.

Is it also a gamer skill?

It is a unique ability, not given by the gamer,

but it can be obtained, your direwolf already has a close bond

with you, that's why it was not necessary to unlock the ability.

The boy became thoughtful at that and returned to his questions.

Can Ghost get abilities?

The skills of the familiers depend on the bond between the

and the player, the greater the bond, the more experience received, and the familiers can also unlock skills.

If alone, they do not enter the white room or use the AI.

What happens if I'm in battle and level up? I mean,

does my body come to this place or just my mind?

The white room can only be accessed by the gamer's mind.

The body is still where it was before entering, time does not pass in this room so you can be here for days and nothing will happen, not a second will pass in the original world

of the gamer.

Can I heal or rest here?

You can but it won't work in the real world, all medicine

that you take in the room doesn't affect your body.

Since you're not really here, you can rest, but when you go back you will regain the fatigue you had upon arriving.

Jon sighed and chose abilities.

The boy sighs, he wanted to use more magic, but now it was better for him to improve his swordsmanship, without hesitation he pressed the swordsmanship.

Do you want to level up your swordsmanship to level 2?

Jon pressed yes, and again he felt pain throughout his body, dozens of images of new sword techniques appearing in his head.

The boy sighed again and hit the exit button.

Robb looked at his father.

" Isn't it better for you to stay until Bran wakes up? " He asks him.

" Right now, it's better for me to go with Robert, your mother will stay to take care of Bran" he indicated.

" Bran has been climbing those towers for years, he's never fallen" Robb clarified.

Ned sighed.

" I'll investigate King's Landing, you protect Winterfell" Ned finished.

XXXXXXXXX

Jon heard a knock on his door, opened it, and saw a bald man with a mustache.

"Good day," he greeted.

" Oh excuse me, I wanted to talk to you. I was wondering if you were a mercenary? " he asked.

" Oh, no, not yet, I plan to join some company while I'm in Essos" Jon clarified.

" I see, I'm Adam Mert, and I work for the green company, I'm the one in charge of the negotiations, and well I saw you fight and it seemed to me that you would be a good mercenary, if you want in Volantis I can introduce you to the boss" he indicated.

Jon blinked, then nodded.

" I would love to, I'm Jon Snow" he introduced himself.

The journey took a couple more days, and the boy arrived in Volantis, accompanied by the mercenary. They went down through the outer port of the city, the mercenary told him that there were new measures, since a pirate attack a few months ago, and now all ships that are not registered must go through a customs office on the outskirts, they entered quickly, since the mercenary seemed to have some contacts.

The boy looked at the city, it was the strangest thing he had ever seen in his life, well he never left the north, therefore he was not aware of what the rest of the cities of the seven kingdoms were like, much less these.

The weather is hot and humid. For a boy from the north, this was very tiring, and his wolf behind him was even worse with the animal's fur.

Jon saw the fountains and flowers that decorated the city, plants he had never seen before, full of color, although many of them were wilted, and there were ponds with cracks and dirty water, green vines climbing the walls of different temples. But the worst was the smell, repulsive, a mixture of fish and manure, there were of course stables and farms.

With the mercenary they passed by the temple of R'hllor, the god that the acrobats worshipped, so the mercenary told him, a god the god of light and fire, the priests possess magic and use human sacrifices, Jon took note not to approach them. The temple was enormous with pillars, bridges, and connected towers.

They also passed by a monstrous building that Jon believed was larger than the Red Keep at King's Landing, the merchant told him that it was the merchant's house, a hotel full of luxuries, but that it would take a lifetime to pay for the stay.

They went down to the harbour and Jon saw in the distance a huge bridge, called the long bridge that joined the two parts of the city. And they came to the market in the harbour. And finally, they entered a small tavern.

They headed towards the center where there were some men. The oldest one caught his attention, he had a long beard that reached his chest, his hair was red and he had an eye patch.

" Boss" He heard Adam.

The one with the eye patch turned and looked at him.

" Well? " he asked.

Adam nodded.

" Everything is in order, he will arrive in two moons" he indicated.

The bearded man smiled.

" Alright, let's drink," he said happily, raising his glass full of a black substance, which Jon was definitely not going to drink.

" Who is he? " he asked curiously.

Jon earned the looks of the others.

"Jon Snow is a good warrior, the pirates who attacked us didn't seem to know it when they did, he's from the north of Westeros, he's on a trip, and he was planning to join some company for some money" he indicated.

"Oh, a warrior, let's see him," said the chief, and stood up.

Jon saw him draw his sword, a bastard sword like his own, and kick the table to the floor.

Ghost let out a growl and Jon spun around.

" No, I'll take care of it," Jon told him.

The mercenary saw the wolf and then Jon.

" It doesn't matter, I can handle both of them," he said.

Jon unsheathed his sword, it was a good opportunity to test his new skill.

The mercenary leader ran to him.

" Quick attack" the boy muttered, and he threw a saber at the mercenary, he stopped it but immediately Jon threw another one at twice the speed and hit the sword, it flew up and embedded itself in the ceiling.

The mercenary fell to the ground with his eye open in surprise, the bar was in absolute silence, until the mercenary burst out laughing.

" That was incredible, the north of Westeros fights with such speed. HAHAHAHAHA, welcome to the greens Jon Snow, LET'S DRINK" He exclaimed, standing up.

Everyone in the bar laughed and started drinking.

XXXXXXXXX

Arya was depressed about missing Nymeria, it wasn't her fault that Joffrey was an idiot.

" And that idiot Sansa idolizes him, Lady died because of him, " the girl thought.

[T/N: F*cking Joffrey!]

XXXXXXXXXXXX

A few days have passed since Jon arrived, he got along well with the boss and the mercenaries, it really wasn't like they were in Westeros, they weren't grumpy and arrogant, on the contrary, but perhaps it was because of the company and the boss's good humor.

The first thing they did was take him to a known brothel, the boy refused at first, but they just got him drunk and took him to the brothel anyway, Jon remembers everything that happened, he woke up with two beautiful prostitutes sleeping on his chest, the mercenaries still made fun of him for his rosy face when he returned to the tavern.

[T/N: oh...God, this is going to have ranch in it, I can see it. This will be so awkward, for me anyway.]

The tavern belonged to the boss's father, so they used it as a hideout, although he didn't like that.

Because of the mercenaries, Jon worked as a bodyguard for merchants in the port, mostly wine merchants, since Jon heard that Volantis wine is among the best in the world, that's why it's very expensive, he didn't have to fight at least, they were hired mostly so that people would pay them.

Volantis was full of slaves, Jon did not like them at all, the slaves were tattooed, the Volatines, used this to prevent theft, or to show the slave's skills, tears on the cheeks of concubines, flames for the slaves of priests of R'hllor, tiger scratches on the cheeks of the guard, flies on the waste cleaners, and several others, such as blacksmiths, merchants. The citizens also got tattoos from what Jon found out, to show past exploits.

The boy also found out that the boss was the son of an old merchant from Meeren who had to come here to work and married a Volatina villager. He chose to be a warrior but was defeated and humiliated by the lion guard, since then he traveled through several cities of Essos looking for talented people and created the greens, unlike other companies, they do not charge for wars but for battles, they are cheaper that way and have enough to continue their lifestyle.

Jon got the boss drunk and found out that the truth was that they were among the weakest of all the companies, their members did not exceed three hundred, which was very low, and if that were not enough, many of them wanted to stop being mercenaries and serve as soldiers in some city, to be able to have their own homes and not live in seedy hotels.

The problem was not their ability, they were good warriors, but that most cities only accept soldiers of their own blood and you always have to extort some guard to let you take the test.

The boss was a good man who tried to support his brothers, but he himself was disappointed with how the company was falling.

Jon gained his trust and they talked about many things. The boss, whose name was Arthur Laan, left Volantis when he was very young, traveled to the borders of Assai, and returned with his company.

Jon respected his spirit.

He also had 3 good friends, two from the north of Westeros, the other from the Reach, their names were Pypar, Grenn, and Sam Tarly. Each had a different story but they were going the same way, one way or another those three were going to be sent to the Night's Watch but each escaped in their own way to go to Essso, Jon believed it was an honorable job, but the three denied that, the guard was a prison, and although their motives were noble, that was thousands of years ago, only his father considers going to the guard to be something honorable, since although the meaning of the guard was to protect the north, the guard became a nest of criminals centuries ago.

Pymar or Pyp as he likes to be called, is a small boy with big ears, he was dedicated to the art of comedy. And he was good, until a noble tried to harass him, and he hit him, the noble accused him of being a thief and the boy escaped before he was caught, killed, or sent to the guard. He fled to Essos to try his luck here, and ended up being accepted by the greens, he was no good with the sword, but with a knife.

Grenn is a thick-necked man, a head taller than Jon. Grenn grew up in a field in the North when his father abandoned him at the age of three, he fell in love with the owner's daughter, and the two were found in bed, the father attacked Green and locked him up, telling him he would send him to the Wall, but the girl rescued him one night, he offered to let her come with him, but she told him her father had betrothed her. Green met Pyp and Sam at Whitehaven and they decided to try their luck in Essos, his large body quickly making him welcome in the Greens, though he is slow.

Samwell Tarly is fat and somewhat clumsy. He has light eyes, dark hair, and a face shaped like a full moon. He is the eldest son of Lord Randyll Tarly, one of the lords of the domain who serve the Tyrells. Unfortunately, Sam's physical form and the fact he prefers books over swords, did not please his father at all, especially since his younger brother Dickon was a good warrior, his father sent him to the night's watch with the threat of killing him if he did not accept, Sam convinced his father to let him go alone to the guard, so he could see the cities before entering, he accepted, but when Sam arrived at White Harbor he made the decision to leave Westeros and begin studies in Essos, he met up with the other two and they took a ship to Essos.

Jon arrived a few months after them, they became fast friends, Jon trains with them daily, although they have not defeated him yet, Sam prefers crossbows to swords or bows. Ghost feels fond of Sam as he lets him pet him. The four often do jobs together.

Jon traveled a lot around the docks and made the acquaintance of some sailors who told him stories of various places, Bravos, Pentos, and Valyria itself, the boy would like to go see the ancient city of dragons.

At night, the boy wondered about his family, if everything was okay at Winterfell, about his uncle at the Wall, if Arya had learned to use her needle, or if his father had found the sword and taken it from her.

Jon smiled at the mental image, he saw that it was getting dark, and the boy decided to leave there for his hotel, he passed by some priests of the red god and they turned around, saw him, and then continued on their way. Jon didn't like them, they act as if they read his mind when he saw priests of R'hllor.

He thought he would continue increasing his skills, the sword gave him great abilities, but he also wanted to improve his magic, of course as a mercenary the physical abilities were always better than the magical, magic can attract the attention of evil people who want to use it or dissect it, he knew that perfectly well, even here in Essos where magic is more common, someone capable of summoning animals or resources would be something like a golden egg, of course, that didn't stop Jon from obtaining materials with summons and selling them in the market, it was a source of income after all.

In the morning he would go to the market to improve his weapons, something told him that his peaceful days were over.

Ned looked at Jaime.

" I ask you again Lord Stark, did you order your wife to arrest my Brother?" The guard asked.

Ned looked at them coldly while internally cursing his wife.

[T/N: This was such a pain in the ass, it took me almost 3 hours just to translate this chapter because one, it's more than double the size of the largest chapter in my other book, and two, the was so cluttered with mistakes that I had to step away at one point because I couldn't understand what the paragraph meant. If you do end up enjoying this chapter then you better leave a comment, write a review, and drop at least one stone. Check out the P@treon or my Ko-fi for advanced chapters, we should be well past chapter 10 when this chapter comes out.]

[T/N: Also because this book takes a lot more effort to write than the previous one it will only come out on Mondays and Fridays, unlike the previous time when it also came out on Wednesdays.]
