Jon hated deserts, he really hated them.

But he had no choice but to stay here, there were only a couple of days left until Khal Drogo arrived, and then Illiryo found information about a traitor among his own, or more precisely a noble who made deals with the Lannisters.

Of course, I inform the beggar king.

He ordered their execution.

The nobleman escaped into the desert.

And Jon was the one in charge of finishing it.

He had done some of these missions in Volantis, it was simple really.

First, find the area where they have their camp.

Second, look for mercenaries who protect the surroundings.

Third, interrogate them.

Fourth, arrive at the camp.

Fifth, eliminate the mercenaries protecting the camp.

Sixth, eliminate your target.

Seventh, return with the head as proof.

But the heat was terrible, for a northerner at least.

The boy saw a smoke column in the distance.

" Finally" he murmured.

He continued on his way and saw a campfire with three mercenaries around it.

The mercenaries saw him approaching, Jon did not hesitate and kicked the first one into the fire, while he drew his sword and pierced the other, the third attacked him but Jon evaded and decapitated him in a single movement.

[T/N: OK! Jon's not playing around]

He turned to see the last mercenary rolling in the sand trying to put out the fire, and he waited a few seconds for him to succeed, and then threw him back into the fire.

" Where is Kram? " he asked.

The mercenary screamed in pain and rolled around on the ground.

Jon punched him and grabbed him, throwing him back into the fire.

" Where is Kram? " he repeated.

The mercenary screamed in pain.

" Two kilometers away, in the mountain caves" he exclaimed in pain.

" Thank you," Jon said before running him through with his sword.

The boy continued on his way.

Sansa told Daenerys a couple of stories she was told in Westeros, and Daenerys listened without blinking. She told her about the things she liked about Westeros too, the music, the poetry, the singing, the dancing, and the embroidery.

Danny asked her if she had made the flowered cloak, and Sansa nodded. It wasn't a lie. The stories they told were ones her septa had told her and Arya as children, and she loved them, naive romances about dashing princes, honorable knights, and true love.

Danny was engrossed with them, they were about places in Westeros, like the wall, the land of rivers, etc.

Jorah came by every so often to see how they were doing, and he would see Sansa telling her stories and then leave. The girl suspected that Jorah's interest in Daenerys was not professional, and she would talk to Jon as soon as he returned.

Robb rereads the letter cursing his fortune, a few days after he is declared King of the North Stannis' letter appears.

For the warden of the north, Robb Stark, heir to Eddard Stark, Warden of the North.

He is ordered to head to the stormlands, and bow the knee to the king of the seven kingdoms, Stannis Baratheon.

His army will be commanded by him, in the elimination of traitors to the king, Joffrey Waters, and Tywin Lannister, along with their families, and anyone who betrays the king of the seven kingdoms, Stannis Baratheon.

With respect.

Stannis Baratheon, the first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Man, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, and prince who was promised by the god of light and fire R'hllor.

Robb did not understand what he was reading.

It was not a request, but an order.

"Besides, Stannis is a follower of the seven. Who is this R'hllor? " the boy thought, really confused.

" Everything okay? " Theon asked.

He gave him the letter and Theon read it.

"Definitely, no," he said ironically upon reading it.

"Do you understand something?" Robb asked him.

Theon read the letter again.

"Apart from asking you to bend the knee, he doesn't say anything, he asks you to give him your army, knowing that we are fighting with the Lannisters here, and also that this is about the prince that was promised and R'hllor is not that, a religion of Essos," said the ironborn confused.

Robb sighs, his mother and the Blackfish also looked at the note in confusion.

"Your majesty" she heard and saw a man enter the tent.

"Yes?" he asked.

" A man requests an audience with you, he is carrying a large, covered weapon and refuses to hand it over, he says he has important information for you, he is coming with a woman " he indicated.

Robb furrows an eyebrow.

"He won't hand over his sword, and wants to speak to the king, arrest him" exclaimed the Blackfish.

"We tried, sir. But he made a threat, he said that the King of the North will want to hear him, especially with the information that he says is crucial to the war" he said.

Catelyn frowned.

"Where does he come from?" she asked.

" My queen did, he did not say, but he ordered me to say a phrase to the king," he said.

Robb made a follow-up gesture with his hand.

"When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives," he said.

Robb paled upon hearing this.

"The soldiers believe it is a threat, but the man insisted," said the soldier.

"Let them in" he muttered.

The soldier blinked and listened. Without another word, he walked away.

"Robb…That sentence" Catelyn murmurs.

"Yes, the one that Father told us in the winters" he muttered.

The tent flaps quickly opened, Robb saw two people enter, the man was his age, small, with big ears, the woman was without a doubt the most beautiful thing that Robb had ever seen in his entire life, with long, dark hair, honey-colored eyes.

" Present yourselves" ordered the king of the north.

"Pleased to meet you, Your Majesty, my name is Pypar, comedian, actor, mercenary, and merchant," he said with a smile.

Robb raised an eyebrow at the introduction.

" Talisa Maegyr," the woman said.

"Maegyr doesn't ring a bell?" Catelyn muttered as the girl tilted her head in greeting.

"My family is a noble family from Volantis, Your Majesty. But I am here because of my job, I am a healer" she clarified.

"I met Talisa in Volantis, since we both had the same goal, I brought her with me, your majesty" he indicated.

Robb nodded.

"Healers are useful in war, I appreciate any help you can provide, Lady Talisa," the king said.

She leaned.

"I am a healer, Your Majesty, my job is to heal, not kill, if you go to battle, if you bring prisoners, if your soldiers are wounded, I will do my best to heal you, both your allies and your enemies" she clarified.

Robb raised an eyebrow, but nodded.

"I understand and approve, can I ask a citizen of Volantis, who supports the north, to be given a tent to stay in, and the medicines that we can have" he indicated.

"Thank you very much, if it's not a problem, I brought Volantis potions, but they are still in the carriage" she clarified.

"Dacey," he said.

The door to the tent opened and the Mormont entered.

"Please provide Lady Talisa with a tent and see that her belongings are brought to it" the king ordered.

The Mormont woman nodded and walked out of the tent, followed by Talisa. The door closed again, and Robb looked at Pyp.

"Well…Pypar, comedian, mercenary, merchant…You said you had information for me " he said.

Pyp reached into his clothes, and the Blackfish tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword, but relaxed when he saw Pyp pull out a card. The Blackfish took the card and handed it to the king.

Robb read it, his whole body went numb as he read it, his face highlighted with strong emotions, neither Catelyn nor Theon could decipher if it was love or hate, but the king of the north read something that really impacted him.

Robb looked at Pyp coldly.

" When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives, a saying of the Stark house, something private, but not enough to believe the contents of this letter... Did you even read it? My brother Jon, who is in Essos, possibly does not even know that we are at war, my sister Sansa with him, you read it at least before Tywin or whoever gave it to you, entrusted you with this mission" asked the king of the north furiously.

The Blackfish took his sword, and Catelyn snatched the letter from Robb's hands, and read it quickly.

Pyp nods.

" Yes, Jon said that this could happen, so he gave me absolute proof that you, Your Majesty, could believe the content of this letter" he indicated.

Robb blinked and the Blackfish frowned. Theon and Catelyn, who had finished reading the letter, looked at him.

Pyp pulled out the hidden sword he had left in the corner of the place covered with some skins. Robb watched intently as he removed the skins and his eyes widened at the sight, he quickly stood up from his throne and approached the Blackfish in front of his surprised gaze.

"It can't be, Ned…" Catelyn murmured, looking at him.

And then the Blackfish understood, the sword, he could see it, a huge broadsword, made entirely of Valyrian steel.

"Ice," Theon muttered as he watched.

Robb took the sword from Pyp, looked at it in wonder, and hugged it as if it were his family's most valuable treasure (in fact, it was). Pyp stood still, letting him examine it.

Then Robb returned to his throne, with Ice in his hands, he left her to one side of it and put his hands on his head in an exhausted gesture.

"So it's true," he muttered, looking up at Pyp.

"How?" he asked.

Pyp set about telling him what he knew, how Jon found out about the arrest and the rebellion in the North, and how he tried to come, but was stopped by the sellswords, convinced that it was suicide.

He then told him Jon's plan, the information he got from Sam, Grenn, and himself, and how Jon infiltrated the Red Keep, rescued Sansa but couldn't save his father.

"Why didn't he come north?" Theon asked.

"Tywin after the rescue of Sansa Stark and the theft of his prize. He would put his men on high alert, Jon believed that the northern sea and land would be invaded by thousands of soldiers, they would search every ship and horse, Jon did not believe he could reach the north with Sansa safe, so when all of Tywin's forces were concentrated in the north, Jon went to the southeast" he clarified.

Theon nodded.

"Jon had allies among the mercenaries who would hide Sansa Stark until the war was over, or at least until it was manageable enough to return" Pyp indicated.

Robb nodded.

"Clever, I admit," Robb said.

"Hehehe, let me get this straight, Snow, he infiltrated King's Landing with the entire Lannister army, except for Sansa, he took Ice right under Tywin's nose, hehehe, and he returned to Volantis as if nothing had happened...HAHAHAHAHA, not bad Snow" laughed the ironborn.

Robb smiled too, imagining Tywin Lannister's humiliated face.

"So she's in Volantis," he murmured.

But Pyp shook his head.

"Unfortunately not, some mercenaries attacked Jon, he found out that in Volantis there are many partners of the Lannisters and he made the decision to go to another of the Free Cities, one that we know Tywin does not have control over," he said.

"How do you know he has no control over where he went?" Catelyn asked.

"Because Pentos is where the Mad King's children hide," Pyp finished.

Jon looked carefully at the camp, about eight mercenaries surrounded it, and a large tent at the end.

"Let's get this over with" he muttered and walked off.

Two mercenaries saw him and approached.

"password?" asked one, just to be pierced in the stomach.

"ATTACK!" the other shouted, taking out his sword.

Jon pulled his sword out of one's stomach and attacked the other. His speed had increased during so many battles in Essos that the sellsword could do nothing to avoid being decapitated by Jon's sword.

The boy saw the other six stop, one taking out a bow as three of them ran towards him.

Jon stood on guard, the arrows coming from one were repelled by his sword in defense.

"Quick Attack" the boy muttered.

He leapt at high speed and pierced the neck of one of the three mercenaries who ran towards him. The other two were surprised by his speed and counterattacked, but Jon dodged their attacks.

A third mercenary joined him with a spear, using mid-range attacks. The boy cursed, as he was not used to attacking a spearman, it was difficult due to the distance.

An arrow stuck him in his left shoulder, Jon let out a groan and became furious.

"Strong attack" he muttered and struck at the spear, it broke in two to the mercenary's surprise. Jon continued his attack and pierced the mercenary's stomach without problems.

The other two looked on in horror, a mistake, as Jon wasted no time in reaching them, they tried to attack him in his vital points, but he evaded them, his sword, stronger with his magic, numbed their muscles as they felt the blows of his sword on theirs.

Jon deflected an arrow with his sword, while at the same time striking one of them in the jaw, he rolled over on the ground to avoid a saber blow and stuck the sword into the fallen mercenary's chest.

There are three left, the archer, the swordsman, and Jon, he noticed the last one next to the tent, with two swords that he took out.

The swordsman attacked, but Jon stopped his sword, and pierced him in the stomach.

"Wolf" he muttered, hitting the ground.

A wolf appeared.

"Witch," the arrow-wielding man muttered as he fired another, the remaining swordsman frowned.

The arrow was dodged by Jon's sword, the wolf ran towards the bow-wielding mercenary and jumped on him, he let out a scream only to be pierced in the jugular. The wolf then got up and looked at the other, the sword-wielding mercenary saw the wolf heading towards him, but he threw both of his swords at him as he jumped.

The wolf let out a howl and fell dead. Jon raised an eyebrow at that and stepped closer.

"Quick attack" he invoke again.

The swordsman put his swords in defense and Jon attacked, they danced between the two, it was the first time he faced a dual-swordsman, especially so skilled.

This one attacked Jon's legs instead of his chest or head. It was a strange style, Jon had never faced someone like that, more skilled than him, but unfortunately for the sellsword, Jon possessed magic.

"Fire aura" he muttered and attacked.

The sellsword put his swords together to defend himself and suddenly he was set on fire. He jumped with a cry of pain and rolled around in the sand, to put out the fire, Jon noticed that part of his clothes were burned and he had armor underneath it.

"Witch," the man cursed.

Jon didn't say anything, he pointed at the sellsword.

"Come" he murmured.

The sellsword attacked again, but he was in pain from the burns Jon's magic had caused him, he was slower and Jon defended himself from each attack. The sellsword's swords grew hotter with each blow he dealt to Jon's sword.

He began to learn how to really use his aura, this gave him the ability to use fire, to heat metals, and clothes, or set the opponent on fire, sometimes the odds were low and he didn't have much success.

But Jon began to learn how to use it, the more hits he gave, the more hits he received, the greater the probability, and that was proven, when the sellsword lunged at his chest instead of the legs to kill Jon once and for all, Jon defended himself and the sellsword flew back in an explosion of fire.

Jon steeled himself and watched him try to get up. In one fluid movement, he decapitated him, and he sighed, a bright light came to his eyes, and the boy soon noticed that he was in the white room. He didn't waste any time, he reached level 9 with two skill points, he required one more level if he wanted to improve summons and two levels for swordsmanship. He left the room.

The boy opened his eyes and entered the tent, inside the spectacle was not something he had seen before in Essos.

The tent had a table, a bed, and some gold belongings. The nobleman, a fat, dark-skinned, bald man, looked at him. On the bed was a naked young woman who was tied, hands tied, against a post.

"What do you want?" the nobleman murmured.

" I already have a job," Jon told him.

"The Lannisters are very rich, you can earn a lot of money, I will also give you the girl," said this desperate man.

Jon ignored him, the girl was beautiful, no doubt, about Sansa's age, but to Jon, she didn't look like a slave, she was tied up.

" A commoner or servant, perhaps even a peasant, I'm sure she was kidnapped on the way, " the boy thought sadly.

"Tempting...But I'm a professional...And I hate the Lannisters" he murmured and pierced the fat man's heart.

He saw how he fell to the ground, he decapitated him and put his head in a bag. The boy sighed and saw the girl looking at him intimidated.

He approached her, she was filled with horror and looked at him pleadingly.

"Please, I won't say anything. I'll please you, I'll be your slave" the girl begged.

Jon sighed and stroked the girl's head warmly, she blinked at him and suddenly pulled out his sword, the girl looked at him in horror, but he just cut the rope, freeing her, she fell to the ground and looked at Jon in astonishment.

Jon turned to take some of the noble's belongings, who knows he could sell something and make some money, he quickly saw a pair of golden goblets, some coins as well, and some precious pearls.

"What should I do?" the boy heard the woman say.

The boy turned around and saw the girl lying on the bed, clearly offering herself as a reward or something.

" Take the items from the mercenaries, there are camels tied up outside, take some and sell everything in one of the cities, you will have enough to go wherever you want and start a new life," said Jon.

"Won't you make me your slave?" she asked.

Jon shook his head.

"Why?" she asked.

Jon shrugged.

" I don't like slavery" he concluded.

Robb Stark looked intently at Theon and his mother.

" It's not the best option, of course. But if he convinces the Targaryens that he's not an enemy, they'll be safe, even if they are the children of the mad king. I mean, it's better to pretend to be bastards among themselves than to be caught by the Lannisters" said Theon.

Robb nodded, Jon's plan was partly correct, but dangerous.

" The sooner we can defeat the Lannisters, the sooner we can communicate with them" he indicated.

Catelyn stood with the Blackfish, saying nothing.

"Mother, Theon, I need you to do something" he whispered.

Catelyn and Theon listened.

"We need allies, I don't like Stannis' information... Mother, go see Renly and the Tyrells, I will give you an escort. And you, Theon, must return to Pike and convince your father to support the North" said Robb.

"I'll be right out," the ironborn bowed and left the store.

"You make a mistake, Theon is a Stark hostage" she clarified.

"I trust Theon, he doesn't have my blood, or my name, but he was raised by Starks" he indicated.

"The ironborn are not to be trusted, they are legalized pirates" indicated the Blackfish.

"Even so, they have the best fleet in the seven kingdoms, we cannot defeat the Lannisters solely on land" Robb finished.
