Chapter 5 [Volume 2]

Robb stared at the note, still in disbelief.

The standard bearers gathered around the table, their expressions a mix of astonishment and uncertainty at the extraordinary news.

"The old gods have blessed you," declared the great Jon Umber, a satisfied smile on his face.

Richard Karstark also appeared pleased.

Roose Bolton remained silent, his demeanor neutral yet undeniably intrigued.

"How is that possible?" he murmured, processing the revelation.

Just minutes earlier, they had learned of Ned Stark's escape from King's Landing with his daughters, news that had also reached Stannis and Renly, who had received similar notes regarding the true nature of the queen's children.

The seven kingdoms were in revolt.

Robb's mind raced as he contemplated attacking the Lannisters in the Riverlands, while Stannis and Renly squabbled over the throne. And now, the news of Ned, Sansa, and Arya's escape added another layer of chaos.

"Where is he?" he murmured to himself, the urgency clear in his voice.

Meanwhile, Ned Stark faced a squad of ten Dothraki a few kilometers from Volantis, his weapon poised for battle. The Dothraki believed him to be easy prey, but three of their number had already fallen to his sword.

Sansa and Arya kept their distance, watching as one Dothraki advanced toward Ned.

"Critical hit," the old man grunted as he lunged forward, driving his sword into the Dothraki's chest with such force that the warrior was sent flying back.

Two more Dothraki charged at him, and Ned's heart raced as he noticed their approach toward his daughters. He fought valiantly against his opponents but felt the weight of desperation.

In a moment of bravery, Arya drew her needle and thrust it into the throat of one distracted warrior. Suddenly, the world around her faded, and she found herself in a white room, a strange mirror looming in the background.

"Dad? Sansa? Where am I?" she whispered, excitement bubbling within her.

Rushing to the computer screen, she touched it and saw the words appear:

Dizziness overtook Sansa, and as she looked up, she found herself in the same white room. Confusion washed over her, but like Arya, she quickly grasped the situation and approached the monitor.

Meanwhile, Jon Snow had reached a pivotal moment in his journey, having leveled up after defeating numerous foes in the second dungeon level.

He opened his character menu.

Jon decided to hold off on upgrading his swordsmanship until he reached the next level. He continued onward, accompanied by Ghost, and entered the largest cave where the final monster awaited.

As he approached, a figure emerged, pale eyes glinting in the darkness.

"Monster?" Jon whispered, trepidation gripping him.

"Careful!" Ghost urged as the figure lunged.

Just in time, Jon sidestepped the attack. Ghost leaped but was tossed aside as the figure retaliated, its hands sharp as blades.

Jon swung his sword repeatedly, only to have his strikes deflected.

"Ghost, let's attack together," he communicated mentally.

"YES," came Ghost's agreement.

With renewed determination, Jon attacked, while Ghost distracted the monster by targeting its legs.

"Critical Hit," Jon muttered, seizing the moment to land a decisive blow that severed the monster's arm.

The monster let out a cry of pain.

"NOW!" Jon shouted.

Ghost lunged at the man and grabbed his neck. The man tried to get rid of him, but Jon was already prepared and decapitated him.

The boy fell to the floor panting, and saw that he was in the white room. He smiled and walked over to the monitor.

"These monsters give a lot of experience" he muttered and entered the character menu.

{Name:Jon Snow}

{Title: King of Valyria}

{Do you want to spend three skill points and upgrade your swordsmanship skill to level 3?}

{Yes/No}

Jon pressed yes.

{Swordsmanship Level: 3}

{This skill has two upgrades.}

Jon felt his muscles explode in pain, dozens of images appeared in his mind, sword movements, attack and defense, the boy let out a sigh of pain and looked at the screen.

{Swordsmanship Level: 3}

{Cost: 50 mana.}

{Aura of the elements: Creates a golden aura on the swords, and grants the ability to burn, poison and electrocute with one sword, and freeze, push and hurt with the other. Lasts 5 minutes.}

Jon looked in wonder, it was a dual sword skill, and his magic was extraordinary, plus he had two upgrades, which meant he could be even stronger, of course he needed six points for the two upgrades. The boy pressed exit.

He looked at Ghost beside him.

" The mountain has been cleared, no more monsters and it will be filled with prey in no time " said the wolf.

"Are you only thinking about eating?" Jon asked.

The wolf nodded.
